Hi! My tablet has no battery, so I put the charger cable and lights flash, but it does it always, lights flash, all turn off and turn on again, and all process again.
I saw somewhere on internet to plugh charger without battery, wait 3 seconds and put battery again. I did that but, when I plug charger without battery it does the same (flash lights, turn off and back to flash light, appear huawei s7 on screen and turn off again). I put battery and nothing happens (still flashing and turn off)
And I can't turn on my device :S
Fault is on the battery... totally drained, and canĀ“t start the charging process.
If you have other battery, test it and see.
If not, find and power supply, and input around 4.3v and 2.0mA... wait for the battery to have at least 3.5 or 3.8v... then I think you can start the normal charge process in the the tablet itself.

Sorry for the bad english.
I had my xperia for like 2 weeks now and last night i plug the usb from the
computer to my phone and my phone just completely shuts off. there is a red
light once in a while when its being charged. i charged it for 6 hours now and
it still won't turn on!??! Somehow my phone vibrates ones every two minutes
when it is off or being charged...have and idea??
are you still charging from the computer or the wall outlet. if not doing so already, i recommend that you charge from the wall outlet instead of the computers usb.
it may take a while before the red light goes out. turn off the phone and recharge it overnight.
i'm charging it from the wall outlet. The red light doesnt turn on anymore.
and still i can't turn on my phone.
1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Remove the stylus.
3. Use your stylus to press in the small RESET hole which is along the slot where you just took your stylus out of. you will feel something click in as you press it, like a hidden button.
if that does't help, take out the battery and put it back in after a second or two or three. hehe.
then connect it to the wall charger.
I had this problem a few days ago... it didn't switch on even after a whole night's charge
you just have take the battery out, then put the usb cable in, then put the battery in... you'll notice the red light doesn't flash anymore... BUT!! don't try to switch on... i'd leave it for around 1 minute, before switching it back on. if you just leave it; the red light will start flashing again

I tried all of the following and it still doesnt work.
i put the usb cable in and it pops up the red light and my computer says it doesnt recognize the device. and my phone vibrates happends every 1 min or so..
but it still won't turn on
no, plug the usb cable directly into the power point. it's useless using a computer to charge the phone anyway, it doesn't supply enough power. just keep trying different combinations... mine ended up working after what i said before, although i did use the car charger in may car as after the charge in the night didn't work.
1 - take out battery
2 - insert usb cable to phone and power point
3 - insert battery
4 - wait 30 secs to 1 minute
5 - press power button for like 4 secs...
man this sucks i did that too and its still not working...
hmm i don't know what happen to it. it was still full battery when it suddenly
shuts down. could it be the battery?
tried manually booting SPL??? hold volume down button and press power and keep holding for 3-4 seconds..... see if that works
i did that too still no sign.
i know its not dead cause when charge it the phone vibrates every 1 min or so
and it stops after maybe 5 mins
I have problems with charging my X1 with my PC.
My X1 only charges when my PC is turned on, with my Elf (HTC Touch) it charges also when my PC was turned off.
So I thought X1 would charge too, when my PC is turned off.
But it seems it drains the battery out of my X1 :-s
So next morning, my X1's battery was empty (after 3 hrs charging on USB => then it was full, and let it connected with my pc in the night, when pc is turned off.
It was quite frustrating for me, but I really don't know why this happens to X1 and not with my Elf.
try taking out the battery, wait 5 mins, re- insert it.
Then start charging via wall socket. wait 5 mins again and then breifly press the power button, should vibrate once then turn on.
this is the question..
any idea?
No. ...this is the answer.
I'm guessing you can't flash due to low charge, and can't charge due to a need to flash. If so, turn the phone OFF, remove the battery for a long ten-count, reassemble everything and leave the phone OFF. Charge on a wall charger until green light comes on. Try to flash again.
Hi all !
I have a serious problem when my Galaxy S responses nothing (completely sleep in silence) with any tries to power it on. This happened right after running out of battery, then I plug it to wall for about 1 hour charging, but from that time I can not power it on again (the screen is silently dark).
Please help me to solve this case, and any of your solutions would be highly appreciated.
I would take the battery out for a minute and put it again. Of course plug the powercord out too. Phone should start then.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
I have tried such operations :
1. Take battery out; push it in again; then push VOLUMNE DOWN+HOME+ POWER: but nothing is happended.
2. Take battery out; push it in again; then push VOLUMNE UP+HOME+ POWER: but nothing is happended too.
3. Take battery out; push it in again; then push VOLUMNE DOWN+ POWER: but nothing is happended
So, what should i do now ? is my phone bricked after battery drained out ?
My ROM is stock ROM, and I have done LagFix by RyanZ, is there any problem related to the playing Logo at bootime causing it can't be on again ?
Very important: after about 10 minutes taking battery out, push battery again, then plug charger into phone, there is a circular loading symbol appear in one second, then it disappear. Is there anybody know what does this loading symbol mean ?
Had the same problem, simply plug the charger into the mains and your phone. Leave for 15 minutes until the battery thing comes on, then unplug, boot, and charge.
I have done this, but i see nothing when plug-in the charger. No big battery icon at the center of screen as normal. Still unable to turn it on.

then you will understand why.
get a stand alone wall charger, instead of charging inside the phone
i got this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=722862
Hello! i have problem with my streak 5, few days ago battery drained out and phone shut down.
i connected ti a charger but nothing happen, no reaction on phone so i left it on charge all night.
Still no response, no picture on the screen, no backlight, no LED, completely dead.
I can get reaction only when i enter in fastboot mode (holding power+camera)
IN this mode touch screen not working, computer recognize device and i can do flash and i do it successfuly but i still cant turn on my phone.
What can be a problem, I tried everything with no luck, also i have not found anyone with same problem
I have 2.2 official, no root.
Try changing the battery. The one you have could be defective, or else there is an issue with the charging circuit.
I measured with instrument 3,67V, connected od 1 and 4. And few other combination i get from 3,30 to max 3,67V.
This seem to be ok, regardless of that you think might be the battery?
Never let the battery drain that much becase now the battery doens't have enough power to start the charging... you should charge the battery manual with some wires on (+) and (-) from a old phone charger be carefull with the voltage(V) and the ampers(A) not to brake the battery, 20 or 30 min should be enough, or you should buy one of this Universal charger. Then place the battery in the phone and it should work ok .
This morning I optimistically tried to turn on a phone and it was successful
battery Indicator showing 7% so i connected to charger, now is normaly charging, everything is working normally...
I do not understand, what could happen? i few times drained battery to 0% but still able to charge, maybe battery is problem, but again, turned on after 3 days
Don't worry the battery is ok the problem is not to empty it again to 0%, at 5% 7% close the phone if you don't have a charger to charge it. This method applies to every phone and battery. It's not a good thing to fully discharge.
Now is fully charged and power is 4,07V.
So obviously battery caused this problem.
I think, good info for all who suspect on battery, 4,07 V is power you need to have on fully charged battery.
With 3,6V you cant event turn on the phone.
Thank you for suggestions
[Solved; Ignore] Phone on "charge" at 0% Instantly turns off when charger is removed.
As the title suggests, my phone will only turn on when the charger is plugged in and the battery stats say "0% Charging (AC) - 0s on battery".
Little background. I just flashed stock and AK 301 kernel as well as the latest libs. Phone turned on just fine, battery was at 50%.
I then decided to run Antutu for the hell of it to see if there were any performance changes etc.
Whilst Antutu was running the phone just powered off and wouldn't power back on. I had a red blinking light and that was it.
Eventually I managed to boot in to recovery after following advice to hold power + vol down for 15 seconds then plug the charger in.
The phone was on charge for about 3 hours with the LED still blinking at me.
When I managed to get in to recovery I flashed the only ROM I had on there after wiping all data etc. Which was Mahdi ROM.
Now when I turned the phone on, after many failed attempts, the battery icon is completely depleted with the charging icon inside the battery and as said in my first sentence it says 0% Charging and as soon as I take the charger out, the phone turns off instantly and won't turn back on nor will it blink until I put the charger back in.
Does anyone know whats going on? Could the battery have come loose somehow? I'd like to open it up but I don't have the required screwdriver to do so, anyone know any other way I can crack the case open without damage?
Any help or suggestions are most welcome. I can't return it on warranty as I bought this phone 1 year ago on the 4th June... Of course this had to happen 6 days after warranty expired!
I think I spoke too soon.
I just decided to hold the power button and vol down until the phone completely switched off. Turned it back on and now my battery says 32%.And as of writing this it's now up to 34%. So it's actually showing that it's charging now, whereas earlier the phone was on for about 20 minutes and said 0% the whole time.
Odd. That's all I have to say.
I can't delete my post for some reason. So I'll just flag it as answered. Sorry about that.
