Can anyone get their 3G connection here in Canada? i bought my HTC HD a few days ago but can only get Edge? Do i have to download like HSDPA in order to get 3G? Thanks!

I have an HTC Touch Diamond 2 and I can't get the 3G connection to work (just GPRS/Edge). Does anybody have any ideas what I should check on my configuration?

The current Diamond2 hardware only use the European/Asian HSDPA bands, so there is no capability for 3G in North America with this device.
I currently have a HTC legend and it is from Bell mobility, I want to use it on the T- mobile network. Everything works except for the mobile 3g internet and picture messaging. I did the setup in the settings/ wireless networks but the 3g part of it still seems to not want to work. I was wondering if there is a flash available? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I'm pretty sure T-mobile uses different bands than the phone supports, AT&T will work with 3G though.
Ahhhhh, don't tell me I have to go back to At&t????

Well what about a radio update? Could I update the radio on the legend and gain access the the 3G network?
The hardware will only let you on certain frequencies, T-Mobile does not use those frequencies. You cannot change those frequencies with a radio update.

Hello everyone, i friend just got a flipside because it is supposed to support 3g on 850mhz but it is not working, how can i enable that band? on my galaxy i had to use *#2263# but it does not work on this phone.

searched around but didn´t find anything that could help me. I m from germany and currently i'm in the US and want to use my milestone 2. bougth a t-mobile sim card but it doesn`t work. It doesn't work even with a german t mobile card, but with this one it shows me "(no service) / Telekom", with the T-Mobile US SIM it shows nuthin. Had the phone on the whole day...and i got a sms from t mobile. but i never saw signal bars. only this one sms from the "US SIM", nuthin more.
can anyone help?

T-Mobile USA doesn't use the same bands/frequencies as other GSM providers. To use your phone in the USA, you should use AT&T.

It won't work on 3G, but still should on the 2G GSM network.
Milestone 2 data in USA
I got my A953 (UK) to send texts and make telephone calls on T-Mobile USA, but had a lot of difficulty getting any data to work - not even 2G.
I thought the Milestone 2 supports 3G on 900 and 2100 MHz, and T-Mobile USA uses 1700 and 2100 MHz - doesn't this mean the Milestone 2 should be able to access 3G data on the 2100 MHz frequency?
