I897UCJJ4 Kernel w/CWM, Custom bootani, User Scripts

This is based off of the new Froyo I897UCJJ4 leak.
Pre-Cog-Kernel - I am building a multi stage kernel so I can include all of the goodies like Atinm and Supercurio have done. (not very fun, multistage is lame!)
Changelog:
ClockWordMod Recovery (thanks to Atinm)
---Fixed /tmp not mounting
---Replace recovery binary with one from the market (Atinm added in some menu options that I deleted binaries for to save space)
Custom boot animations (/system/media/bootanimation.zip)
---Properly moved up the int list so there is no delay
User Scripts (/system/etc/init.d)
Removed FM Radio module and int code (it's useless)
This allows for nandroid backups and flashing anything you want!
Known Issues:
If you do a factory reset you will have to flash the stock recovery so it can set things up again.

Heh, good good, its all fixed now, that edit was a false alarm, I flashed stock then my kernel, and it can't handle that initial setup recovery does, so stuck in recovery is what happen.

Thanks to this post my phones battery is going to last a lot longer May i ask, how do you take a screenshot on your phone?
I use G3Mod Ultimate 1.3.4 200-1200 Mhz and I keep it simple
I have just one option enabled in profile, which is if temp > 40 clock 200-400 conservative
Rest I have kept it at 200-800 Mhz On Demand at all times.
When I play Games I set it to 600-1200 On Demand.
I have been using it since 1.3.4 G3Mod Ultimate was released, and have not faced any Overheating, Lags, freezes what so ever. It does last around 1.5 to 2 days.
My quadrant score (ofcourse other tweaks as mentioned in my signature also applies)
at 600-800 on demand is around 590
at 600-1200 on demand is around 710

Or you can just hold down the back button and press the home key for a screen shot

Best way of taking screenshot is through Qtadb

Nice addition to the kh3 base.
Need any tips....let me know.
Might want to add to your op that anyone running a ext4 partitions "must" Odin stock kf1 to rfs their partitions then Odin a kf1 kernel either cog or atomic with the cwm built in.
I realize your op states to follow either thread and add this at the end. But trust me your going to have your hands full with that statement.

exactly what i've been waiting for. bravo!
Love the idea but wish airplaine toggle was sound toggle
I understand its not exactly stock but it seems useless when I can toggle airplane from tthe power menu. really hope samsung changes it for the official cappy ginger release or future leaks though I find it unlikely.

No, this is a stock Rom so tethering will not be enabled however if you're rooted use Tibu and freeze "tetheringmanager", reboot and tethering should work.
