EDIT: REAL INVITES ARE BACK.... GOOGLE PUT THE ACTUAL INVITE BUTTON BACK UP SO IF YOU NEED ONE POST YOUR EMAIL
When you get your email you may have to click the red button that says "learn more" multiple times over a few days to get in.... .
i will not resend an invitation.....
if you deleted your invite because it didnt work the first time, your dumb.....
if i have confirmed i have sent you an invite please delete your email address from this thread...
i am not responsible for spammers getting your email address..... =D.
EDIT: I am now sending invites out again if you want one post your email IN the thread......DO NOT SEND ME PM's PLEASE..... its easier for me to copy and paste everyone's emails from the thread at once rather than go through each pm to copy each email at a time.... thanks to those who actually read the op..... ; )

METHOD FOR SENDING INVITEs.
What I've been doing is.......
1.) Creating a new post that explains that its going out to invite people to Google+ and that an email will be sent.
2.) Where it says select a circle or type email, I copy and paste everyone's email address there and hit share.
Most people are confirming that they have set up their Google+ account after getting my invite so I guess its working but some people have said that 5 hours after the invite was sent they finally get the email so I guess it must be Google's servers getting so much traffic that Gmail is taking a hit in the process......
I hope this method works out for ya =D .
EDIT: I've had several confirmations on Google+ from people who posted requests here..... If you don't get the emailed invites immediately I've seen people that didn't get the email until 15 hours after the invite was sent..... please bear with me and remember that this is a BETA program which means all features may not work the first time including invites...... have fun =].

I just got Google+ today and I like it...I really hope it takes off. My 3 favorite things so far are the Circles, Huddle, and instant photo uploading. The Circles one is something I wish Facebook would have done a long time ago. There are things I would like to post that I want friends to see, but not my Parents, Aunts's/Uncle's, Co-Workers, etc. If anyone needs an invite, they can PM me their email as well and I will send an invite.

Invites are closed for now - not sure when they will open it again. The option to invite someone itself is no longer there.
And ya, am in!!! And loving it!!!
I also got the G+ app for Android - right now my only grouse with the app is the widget. The app is pretty functional though.

My alternate Gmail account is in, but my primary has an invite that won't activate either. It's annoying

50% of the posts in this thread are from people who want invites (or have non-working ones, so still need invites). I guess that's a better ratio than the other threads, but not by much.
Guess we'll have to wait for the excitement to die down before having any thread that isn't invite requests

ooops didnt mean to clutter the thread but its true. Probably a better bet to wait so when google+ opens up a litle more there arent 5 threads like this a day

There is a thread already for this. Just fill out the google docs form with your gmail and name so you do not have to disclose your email to anyone other then those inviting you. They send out mass invites. The link is below; this is probably the best way to get an invite because they send them out almost daily.
