Can Someone send me a G+ invite - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

[email protected]
Thanks,
wbonney4

what's G+ ?

g+ is short for google+. its pretty much like facebook but its still in beta. you have to have an invite from someone in the beta program to use it though.
im not positive but someone here on xda has said that google has opened it to everyone with a gmail, if not i could send out a couple invites. just pm me your gmail & i'll send out the 1st 5 requests. i just started using it yesterday so im not sure how many i can send out yet.

if u could get one please send me an invite [email protected] thanks

i just looked & the invite option is shut down right now. i believe they do that when they're servers get overloaded. it was like this lastnight as well but by morning they opened it back up. i'll send wbonney4 & you an invite as soon as they open the feature back up.

i apriciate man thanks

Your invite is on it's way. (by email)
Keep trying it.. G+ does sometimes open the invitations.
PS. Do not just post your email address like this on forums. (mask it, or use something like kijk.info (

That is.. If you do not like spam. If you do, than please ignore this PS.

O2SMS Plus for the Magician

Can anyone here hack the SMS plus for the O2 mini?
60 view's n not one person who can hack this..umm is this impossible to hack??
Why should anyone bother to hack this? What does it better than the normal SMS writing app?
Nash. I think this app has already been cracked, a few weeks ago.
Given that it's a WM5 app, it might never work on WM2003.
Either way, it might be worth paying attention to this post:

VJ i know it has been cracked a month back..but i just cudnt get it to work on my Mini..so i just thought it wud be nice if someone can hack it for the Magician..Why are most of u guys so rude?
Nash: That's a good question... Anyone else want to respond on that one?
Hacking an app to run on it's own system, WM5, is not impossible. However, decompiling and subsequently recompiling an app to work on a different OS that it's been compiled for (ie WM2003, not WM5) would be extremely difficult. I'll leave that to someone with more experience then me to detail.
However, as I said in my previous message, "it might never work on WM2003".
V
Thanks V..i guess it just might not happen

Hi, I've been searching this forum for hours and still can't seem to find the hacked version of 02 sms plus. Could somebody kindly post either the link or the file here? I am quite desparate to use this and have spent most of my night looking for it.
I might be blind to not have seen it so please indulge me.
Cheers in advance!

this seems to be the most populated area of xda. I've searched google, as well as xda for the past hour, but yet still came up empty handed. There are quite a few applications out there that will auto reply to a missed call with an SMS, but I'm looking for an app that will auto reply to an SMS with an SMS. Anyone know of such software or care to develop an app like this?
Thanks.

hmmm. good call. PowerSMS is what i used for missed call auto-replies, but I haven't ever seen a sms auto-responder. I'mBusy seems to do what you want, but its for Blackberry only atm. Lemme know if you find anything, I'm interested.

Appreciate the reply. I ran into this late last night, but haven't tried it yet. He claims in his latest version that it replies to SMS with an SMS. We shall see!

Hi. I just saw this post. I'm the guy that wrote the SMS AutoReply utility you mentioned.
Did you get a chance to try it? It's still very much a work in progress, so I'm very interested in feedback.
SMS Minder Works really good, that's what I use.

Broken links on Vibrant

I've had this problem with my Vibrant since day 1. Any links that come through via email are broken at characters like "&" or similar. Since I can't select text within the email, I literally cannot follow emailed links.
Anyway to correct this?

I'm assuming this is with the Vibrant default email client? I use K9 and it has no issues with dashes '-' or ampersands '&'. I can click the links forwarded by Facebook with no issue. It's a little more work to setup but IMHO a better experience.

I have had this problem since day one. Hate to tell you it's still there in Froyo. Well, at least the leaked versions.
I am surprised this has not been addressed or commented on more.
I would love a fix for this! Why should an = character break a web link? This shpuld be a no brainer. Do I really want to ad another email program to make links work?
Now I'm really reaching; but wouldn't it be nice if Facebook links from email open my Facebook app not the crummy web touch site? Like the do on that POS iPhone?

Is it something that a dev could patch?
Is the email app developed by Samsung? I like it a lot more than the one on my G1 besides this problem.

[WIP]Google+ Messenger PC(Google+ Messenger on PC)[Need help!]

}
What is this?
How many of you use Google+ on Android? If so do you use Google Huddle(Now Messenger)? Have you asked if the huddle could be a webpage or program on a computer instead of just mobile devices? Well I have decided to code a Client that will allow you to use Google Huddle on a PC.
How?
Google Huddle uses Google Talk which is based on a Jabber/XMPP service. If I'm able to use the same method as a regular Google Talk Group Chat Session or even a Google+ Hangout then it's possible. Once I have what I need, I can code an application first then even better a web app for portability.
What help do you need?
I have been researching and I need the address of the Huddle group chat. PM me for more details.
If you want to help then PM me. I do need help so I can continue my project. Hopefully I can have someone help me with the little things I need, this project will be big!

Thanks for the help. Especially for working on the theme.
Any progress on this? I've been trying to reverse engineer their protocol without too much luck. I've figured out that it's (not surprisingly) all based on XMPP but they're doing something someone odd with the actual data. Here's an example client > server communication...
Code:
<message xmlns="jabber:client" type="headline" from="[email protected]/clientid" to="[email protected]"><push xmlns="google:push" channel="realtime-chat"><recipient to="[email protected]" data="" /><data>ChESDGM6NTU3ZGM5NjU6MJIBABIWQW5kcm9pZCBidWlsZCAxMzM5IGQ6MA==</data></push></message>
The data is Base64 encoded but there's something strange going on. When decoded, there's lots of unprintable characters and it doesn't seem to make any sense. Any ideas? I'm trying to write my own app for Windows Phone but can't make any progress til I get their protocol figured out.
