This is the new 1080p auto rotate netflix for the 3D, the bottom one works on EVO. NetflixONE red with autorotate
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=14960445&postcount=2011
the red 1080p netflixone version works awesome and looks 100x's better than the stock, market version.
NetFlixONE-HiDef1080p-RedSea-VXXX
Works perfectly on my Stock Rooted Evo 2.3.3 with the latest update. Cannot really see the difference in quality but the auto rotate is the bomb.
Googling for this app I came across a thread in the HD2 sub on this forum that stated "Designed exclusively for the new upscale Android mobile devices with 1.2 MHz processors dual core or higher." Does this actually run on the Evo?
i hit the thanks!!! worked like a charm!!!!
thanks again homie!
and yes... its running on my evo.. i just watched some of pulp fiction...!!!.. looks awesome.... and i'm not overclocked...

I guess the EVO is upscale android device. I saw that too deep into the thread (which is like 270 pages) but we can safely overclock AOSP and sense 2.2 kernels safely to 1.19 which is pretty close.
To answer your question, it works perfectly

Title says it all. I can confirm that gingerbread renders everything in gorgeous 32-bit colors!!!!!!
For example, the weather channel app would look like crap, now it looks great.
Wallpapers look STUNNING.
Press and hold the home button to open the recent used apps menu, notice how the black blackground is blending in so nicely. on 2.2 it looks like crap.
Edit: Screenshots up. XDA Adds a lot of compression to both photos but you can still tell the difference.
Cant wait to see this
anyone else able to confirm this? and what program did you use to determine its rendering in 32bit? just wondering

Yes, I was running gingerbread alpha 3. It's still pretty buggy and with a lot of things missing so I just went back to stock 3.70.

I also just wanted to clarify that our EVOs always had this capability, but only Android 2.3 renders everything in 32-bit color. It's all software.

I went ahead and flashed the alpha 2.3 and honestly saw NO DIFFERENCE in color reproduction.
I know all the places online say the gingerbread renders in 32 bit but I believe its only certain apps and screens that are actually in 32 bit. I could be wrong though
sent from my DAMN EVO
I'll rephrase my response, since it wasn't what I meant. The evo 4g isn't capable of displaying 32-bit color.
And my response wasn't meant to be disrespectful. I'm simply asking for a source isn't of just saying that he used "his eyes".
Hmm, can't see the difference, must be my display.

Use it a little bit more and you will certainly notice the difference. For example, check out wallpapers and how there is NO color banding effect.
I wouldn't have posted if I had not noticed such difference. Again, it's a subtle effect most apparent in apps like the Weather channel. If you're in doubt, run it on gingerbread then do the same on Froyo, then come tell me you can't see a difference.

I tested it as well and youtube was very watchable in HD. It was the mobile site, but I assume the same would be the case for the full site. I did have a problem with Dolphin HD freezing, but I think that was the browser itself, not having anything to do with Flash.
Has anyone tried this w an A43?

THANKS a lot !!
Just installed it, my browser crashes each time I try to view a flash video...
Edit: Just rebooted the 101, it seems to be much better

What browser are you using? I found that with the heavier browser like Dolphin HD, it was giving me problems. I tried Opera browser and didn't have much problems playing flash vids.

I've installed it on my A70, and it doesn't seem to work. Is it not supposed to on the A70? What sites beside youtube can anyone suggest? I'm always redirected to the m.youtube site.
can we just install 10.2 directly over 10.1, or should we uninstall 10.1 first (ti backup)...or?
unless it says it works on Tegra 2 devices, do NOT install it!!!!! the flash that came on our phones is for the Tegra 2. The Flash 10.1 that was in the market essentially broke all flash capability in the browser, and they even had a WARNING in the description for Tegra 2 users.
EDIT: looks like it may be okay is it's "optimized for dual-core devices"
EDIT x2: http://blogs.adobe.com/flashplayer/2011/03/update-on-flash-player-10-2-for-mobile-devices.html "For a list of upcoming Flash-enabled devices which show off the latest performance improvements, including the MOTOROLA ATRIX™ 4G, MOTOROLA XOOM™ and LG Optimus 2X, please click here."

Yes you can use it for the Atrix. If you go to the market it will tell you update available. If you read down it says its for dual core also.
yep, in the market it didn't list it as an upgrade (for me) ...just as a clean install...but i took the hit and it installed and upgraded without any issues. can't say i notice a difference at the moment...but it's still the best way that i've found to interface with orb...
thanks!
NICE! If you play a game like flood runner 2 on miniclip, it's finally actually playable!
of course, you need to fullscreen it, but thats easy. just click on the game window and hold down. Then press fullscreen.
20-25 fps
Good stuff; glad to see that it improves quality on single core phones as well.

How do you run the stock android browser in full screen? Please do tell.
Thanks
You can't. In the settings of the GS it was disabled so you don't have access to that option so I bet it will be the same way for that beasty smartphone. Really not that much of a deal... and the top bar is always useful for the time and radio toggle and battery status etc
The screen is so huge that you will not need to have a true full screen experience. It will be more comfortable to have the Top bar or the Bottom Bar available while providing you a larger view of the website.

There's at least half a dozen 3rd party free browsers that are far more customisable. I personally use Dolphin HD because it allows me to configure everything I need.
I like andromadus a lot. its the best rom ive ever had but i think i have some ideas for the next versions of it:
-themes, i would love a sense 4 or touchwiz or even a iOS theme
-more processor speed options, i mostly onderclock my Android. but there should be more "low speeds" options, like 600mhz.
-USB options, like the internet USB options in android 2.3x
-Beats Audio, maybe?
-The old music player, this one is not as easy as the one in beta 3
-Gmail update? it says everytime at opening that it hasn't been synced
-games, temple run is always buggy. Fix maybe?
-when at lockscreen, and then holding the lock button, you can still make screenshots or shutdown or phone, happend to me 2 times. fix that please
i will have more but this is it for now. what do you think?

last thing you said: it has always been like that.
themes pretty much difficult and there are cyano theme you can use
they're trying, I think, to keep the rom as much similar as possible to stock/cyano ics and and to add new features when they may be useful, but not to completely change it. Beats audio: it's mostly for sense roms, you can flash a zip if you want it. they can't update gmail themselves, google should.

This is a known issue, I can't recall what causes this but it is solved by wiping the cache/gmail cache. Go to account & sync to check if the email sync is actually checked. Not AAB4's fault though.
Overall, I think a lot of things you ask for you can get it if you do some extra work instead of asking the dev to do some more work.

This is pointless, honestly. Some people would like these changes, some wouldn't. They can't take a stock experience and change it drastically just for you, and if you must, please PM them your "Sense based" ideas.
Not sure on your other points but have to agree about Apollo. Not sure how anyone with a Desire Z would prefer that over the old music player when it does so much in Portrait rather than landscape....

I dislike how most CPU governors start slow and build up after wake. If the wake speed isn't high enough moving the lock circle on the lock screen seems very laggy and not fluid.
Music player is so very easy to change. If we are talking about custom roms, you can easily delete .apk files in /system/app because you have root access. I do this to ensure only my favorite browser is always used for instance.
I wish known issues like Temple Run crashes, camera focus is off, 3g doesn't always recover after wifi signal dropped were mentioned on the 1st post as "not working". I believe that post is misleading otherwise. Perhaps his 2nd reserve post could be used for a list of "issues" to be resolved.

Which ones are you thinking of? To my knowledge, all the ICS roms released use kernels that default to the smartassV2 governor. SmartassV2 automatically hits an ideal wake frequency immediately after turning the screen on (768mhz in Andromadus). From there it will ramp up or down appropriately.
