Nexus One Root/unroot and space pls help

Ok fellas! Im new to this world of android just bought a newsu one last night Its used and rooted. I installed bunch of apps and after a bit it gave me an alert of low space/memory. Never had this with my x10 . so i was wondering may be its cus o the root if yes? Do u recmnd unrooting to clear space? And in case of unrooting any help /guide would be much appreciated.
Also i saw the update alert ast night fo 2.2.1 but when i tried to update it it wa stuck on a black screen with a android(green guy) and a exclamation mark. so i r/s the phone again and ignore the update anyhelp. please...

The ROM would effect the lack of space, but having root shouldn't. It more likely the apps though.
Just try moving some apps to your SD (menu> settings> applications> manage applications... sort by size [menu key], then select an app. In each app there's an option to move to SD. Some will move, some won't)
There's plenty of discussions on the update, but it's probably failing because you're not stock...

So what should i do to get the update ..get the phone unroot??

First, decide if you want the update, or if you want a custom ROM...
I've not tried the update, so I can't make any recommendations.

What do u think ..try n see how the update is and if it aint worth it then my be puton the htc sence rom..?? any suggs..

Hey guys.. i found the method to load custom sence rom but it said that its a alpha version .. i was wondwering i fther eis any stable version out there.. anyone...plss.

no miui is a whole new UI revision. its a totally new rom. think ios fused with android. its really great to me at least

Ok so i got loaded 2 different htc sense roms last night both from here:

Both of them were awesome, right now I have the mdaco one, but the there are few problems.
*. Showed still on 2.1 in setting.
*. GPS isn't locking.
*. Bluetooth isnt working.
*. When Im trying to lock the phone by pressing the power button it locks but wont go to sleep(back light is still on).
*. Power button won't work if i try to shutdown/put phone on vibrate/airplane mode/.
so far these are the problems im facing.
Does anyone nows a better stable Sense ROM?? Please advise.. Thanks.

when i install need for speed or asphalt on my device galaxy s gingerbread 2.3.4 lagfixed) and download aditional data via wifi complete and when i open application it revert to homescreen.close automaticaly.any solution?

Try clearing the cache of the installed app form manage applicatoins section under settings,and then see if it works.Also check that the data is in a folder such as games/asphalt/data,if not place it over there.

Sounds like you may want to try a different ROM...

Also gameloft games get awful reviews, I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole, try raging thunder for a race game, much nicer!

JPQ network problem

i have flashed stock JPQ from kyrillos thread....
now my networks goes off suddenly and comes after sometime time.....
and also there is call dropping i need help what should i do....????

May be thisrom is not supported where you live..

Bro you may try switching to Manual Network mode and see if the problem is actually with the ROM, you may also visit the link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1125387 incase some apps were not properly installed, you can browse down to your ROM version for system apps and other resources.

HD2 MIUI Encounter restarting problem

I update it using almost all Available version of MIUI even the new release,
but my problem is my HD2 will restart after a couple of minute. Sometimes if i open some apps it will hang and it will restart...
then try to install from fresh HD2,
I did:
Task 29, flash MAGLDR/cLK, Recovery, format SD card
but the problem still the same...
did i miss something?
now i use the 2.3 android by DFT and it work
but i love MIUI
anyone can enlighten me

Did you install any 3rd call, SMS apps?
Need go to superuser and enable permission for them

no i havent installed any apps
just the fresh MIUI rom
while browsing the phone will restart and restart
then sometimes it will work for about a minute or two then it will restart again,
i think 15 minutes is the longest time it work well then it will restart again

i use 250 for recovery, now i try 400

now i've got 2 hd2 encountering same problem )
i use MIUI for more than 15pcs of HD2 and no problem.
I encounter one with same problem just like my phone
if customers will buy HD2 from us i advice them to check the MIUI if they love it i upgraded their phone to this rom
strange! my phone and the other one we buy second hand have same problem

[Q] 'contact list' takes time to open

frnds I dont know its Rom's problem or kernel's ? sometimes when i press contact button it takes a lot of time to show me contacts and that is irritating whenever i'm in hurry,I have used many Roms since October 2010 currently on Kyrillos 9.2 ,problem is not persistent but occurs randomly.
1) in such situation i always find contacts application open in task manager,sometimes killing it thr helps but not always.
2)sometimes with this problem network goes and when network comes back, contact list is thr also.
Is it only with me or anyone else have same problem? plz let me know n help if u can

Use kyoramrom. There's the kyora app that locks apps into memmemory so they open faster

Thanks. Got same problem as the TopicStarter sometimes, will try Kyoramrom

yea u can lock the contact app in ram so that it can open faster btw.......if u ve tried so many roms and tired of the same problm u shud try alpha 7 .its faster than other froyo roms .....

I had the same issue but only on stock ROM... Then I installed
Rocket dialer... It speed up things a lot...
Now when I use Destiny ROM I dont need it any more...
