[Q] Notifications not working?

Anyone else not getting notifications?
Specifically Facebook and Words w/ Friends...my phone gets them immediately but my Tab never gets them. I am unlocked and rooted on stock rom.
Any suggestions?
Edit: was caused from restoring apps from backup after unlocking bootloader...clearing cache & data on apps that push notifications fixed the problem.

Help : Constant Restart after Installing Gmail App Update

Hi,
I am running 4.3 in nexus 4. This morning I updated the Gmail app update available on google play store. Just after the update, I opened gmail and I was asked to auto sync my account for email updates. I clicked yes. And just after that, my phone rebooted. And since then the phone has been rebooting like crazy. It's been 2 hours already and it's still rebooting.
Can somebody please help me how to solve this issue..

Press volume down and power for more than 15 seconds and you will see the Google logo again and hope it restarts
If not, did you enable usb debugging and could you give us a logcat?
And are you on stock rom and kernel? Or custom rom? Root and bootloader unlocked?

[Q] [HELP] Updated to 4.3 i9505 - notifications on lockscreen issues

I have just installed the official 4.3 ROM for my i9505 via Odin (I came from the google edition ASOP ROM) Two issues.
1. when on the lockscreen and I get a message/email etc. I can swipe the notification tray down, upon tapping the notification, it just goes back to the lock screen. Before the update it would unlock the phone and go to that application. I have no sort of security on the lockscreen. just normal swipe to unlock.
2. I keep getting messages about supersu etc trying to access the phone and being blocked. I am rooted and root access seems to work fie for apps requiring it. Is there any way to stop these?

Is this normal behaviour for Samsungs 4.3 ROM? is it a bug, or supposed to be like that

[Q] Any way to disable Lollipop prompt?

I have an icon stuck in my task bar prompting me to install the Lollipop update as well as regularly showing me full screen prompts when I unlock the screen that I have to keep cancelling. I don't want to upgrade to Lollipop at the moment as the phone is working fine as is and there's a couple of apps I use regularly that don't work with Lollipop so I'm trying to find how to cancel this prompt as it's getting irritating.
I found some advice that suggested disabling notifications on the Google Play Services would work but it hasn't, I've also tried disabling notifications on the app that is generating the alerts but all options for it are greyed out. The phone is a stock N910F that isn't rooted.

The only solution I know of is:
1) update
2) downgrade
3) disable the automatic update feature

Thanks for the reply, I woke up yesterday morning to find the phone had upgraded itself to Lollipop (I'm not sure if there's a timeout on the prompts or I did it in my sleep) so will just have to make do now.

Since you have to do a factory reset when downgrading, be sure to backup your data.

[Q] Delayed PUSH Notifications on my S3 Neo

Hi everyone. I can't receive push notifications for some apps on my S3 Neo when screen is off (Facebook Messenger, Viber) . I'm having this problem when I'm connected to my home Wifi only; when I turn off the wifi and switch to mobile data, all the delayed notifications arrive all at once. My other phones work normally on my wifi.
I have tried the following with no success:
1- disable Wifi optimization
2- factory reset phone
3- Installed PNF No-Root and set hearbeat to 5min
4- Cleared data & cache of apps
My phone is not rooted running 4.4.2 (I9301IXCUAOF1_I9301IXEOAOF1_XEO). Thanks for help in advance and sorry for my English.

I am experiencing the same issues with Facebook Messenger, and with WhatsApp. But also on 3G I've got these issues.
I've also tried everything said above but nothing helped
I'm running on 4.4.2 unrooted
Build: KOT49.H.I9301IXCUAOF1
Baseband version: I9301IXUAOD2
Somebody got a solution?
