EDIT: as of today (7/11) google has opened up the 'official invites' and it is unnecessary for you to download the greasemonkey scripts at the moment. HOWEVER that does not mean this will not change, if you receive a official invite from me then you are pretty much good to go, but if i share a post with you on g+ it will include directions on what to do. pls press thanks
enter your email in the spreadsheet, i will not accept in thread emails. chances are this will not work without the greasemonkey script because google fixed the 'trick' of just invited people by sharing a post with them. other instructions below. please press the thanks button i would appreaciate it
Once you receive the email click on it and it should lead you to a page that says join+ (the join+ button won't work unless u install the scripts below, read on)
LEAVE EMAIL IN SPREADSHEET
PRESS THANKS PLEASE
VERY IMPORTANT READ ON!!!!
Once you've received your email, open up firefox (or chrome) and install the GreaseMonkey extension ( https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/ ) / add-on. Then download this script http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=645927&d=1309858807 (from this thread if you want to read up on it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=15339812). Extract it from the zip file.
Open a new tab in Firefox, drag the extracted script into the window.
Opt to install the script. Go to your invite email (in firefox where the script is now running)
Click on one of the comment links
It will take you to a page with a red button that says "join+". You may try that link, but if it doesn't work, return to the page with the red button. The script will keep trying to join every 5 seconds.
- you need greasemonkey (firefox) or tampermonkey (for chrome)

i am aware, i think it sometimes work sometimes doesnt. google opens it up for periods at a time... right now when google opens it up you will have a invite but its all about timing

EDIT: REAL INVITES ARE BACK.... GOOGLE PUT THE ACTUAL INVITE BUTTON BACK UP SO IF YOU NEED ONE POST YOUR EMAIL
When you get your email you may have to click the red button that says "learn more" multiple times over a few days to get in.... .
i will not resend an invitation.....
if you deleted your invite because it didnt work the first time, your dumb.....
if i have confirmed i have sent you an invite please delete your email address from this thread...

METHOD FOR SENDING INVITEs.
What I've been doing is.......
1.) Creating a new post that explains that its going out to invite people to Google+ and that an email will be sent.
2.) Where it says select a circle or type email, I copy and paste everyone's email address there and hit share.
Most people are confirming that they have set up their Google+ account after getting my invite so I guess its working but some people have said that 5 hours after the invite was sent they finally get the email so I guess it must be Google's servers getting so much traffic that Gmail is taking a hit in the process......
I hope this method works out for ya =D .
EDIT: I've had several confirmations on Google+ from people who posted requests here..... If you don't get the emailed invites immediately I've seen people that didn't get the email until 15 hours after the invite was sent..... please bear with me and remember that this is a BETA program which means all features may not work the first time including invites...... have fun =].

I just got Google+ today and I like it...I really hope it takes off. My 3 favorite things so far are the Circles, Huddle, and instant photo uploading. The Circles one is something I wish Facebook would have done a long time ago. There are things I would like to post that I want friends to see, but not my Parents, Aunts's/Uncle's, Co-Workers, etc. If anyone needs an invite, they can PM me their email as well and I will send an invite.

This method takes advantage of a hidden feature in the +Circles service, which allows invites to be sent to a list of email addresses of a user’s choosing. Pretty nifty, isn’t it? Here’s how to do it:
Create a new circle named "invite" and add email addresses to it. Keep in mind that the people you’re adding must have GMail accounts.
Create a post and assign it to the invite circle only. Be sure not to make it public to everyone, just members of the "invite" circle.
After following these steps, invites will be sent to all the users you’ve selected. Do it soon, since Google will likely spot this issue and fix it in a matter of hours. Until then, however, be sure to send invites to anyone you wish to send invites to, there seems to be no cap on the number of invites that can be sent by this method.

50% of the posts in this thread are from people who want invites (or have non-working ones, so still need invites). I guess that's a better ratio than the other threads, but not by much.
Guess we'll have to wait for the excitement to die down before having any thread that isn't invite requests

There is a thread already for this. Just fill out the google docs form with your gmail and name so you do not have to disclose your email to anyone other then those inviting you. They send out mass invites. The link is below; this is probably the best way to get an invite because they send them out almost daily.
