Hello guys,
I have a problem with my Samsung Galaxy S I9003,
I bought it yesterday and I dont know yet hot to configure some of its settings when it comes to WiFi. I have it ON, I go to WiFi connections, and I cannot connect to my home's router. When I was out it was connecting to some unsecured places but now, I put my code of the router and when it says connected, immediately it says disconnected and it starts scanning again and again and again.. Kind of frustrating. Plz does anyone know what I should do?

Hi All,
I have recently acquired one of the HTC Touch Diamond units and can't seem to figure out how to get it to connect to the internet using the WI-FI.
The device says it finds and connects to my LAN at home, however when I go to use the browser I can't connect. I've tried in 3 different networks and still no result, it connects but still cant surf.
Can anyone tell me what to do please?

Hi Guys
My G1's having trouble holding my WiFi connection. I have a Qwest DSL connection and, although the phone remains connected to WIFI, pages stop loading. The connection works but seems like it gets timed out. It's weird b'cos it's just MY WiFi connection this keeps happening on. The phone holds on to connections at work and to even my friends DSL.
Anyone else have this problem?
Any input would be appreciated
Cheers
Jaro
Could be your phone, could be your wireless router... Would need more information to diagnose.
it's going to be ur wireless router i have the linksys N and it dose not see it i put up a linksys B router works fine
Does your screen timeout by any chance?
I believe the wifi shuts off when the screen times out to perserve battery.
Well it started about 3 days ago.My phone can scan my WiFi connection but it cannot connect to it,if I select connect it will be connecting for a while but later will switch back to available.Sometimes it cannot even scan it,but rarely it will be connected but only stays for a few seconds. Then I realize other connection can work but only my connection will not work. Can someone explain the problem?
My Wifi suddenly stopped working on my Nexus 4 few days ago. When i try to connect it to my Wifi at home it keeps saying "Obtaining IP Address" Or it would say "Avoided due to poor internet connection". For some reason every other device in the house seems to work with it.
Anyone have any ideas?

Go to the wifi settings and untick the "avoid poor connection box", maybe that helps. But it may be a case that there is something wrong with the way the DHCP server on the router handles the new connection.
I would troubleshoot as follows:
1. Go to Wifi settings on phone and untick the box.
2. Go to the connection screen and remove the saved wifi connection.
3. Reboot the phone.
4. While the phone is rebooting you could also reboot the router
5. Search for the network and connect to it.
It would be helpfull if you could say what rom are you using, if you ever had this problem with other routers, etc
