I confirm, it works on CM7 by mik. Seems also not so heavy. BTW it works only on gingerbread, it won't work on froyo roms

Is Megavideo workin with you? With stock browser it remains black after the red button and with SkyFire my phone freezes
does not work on official gb.

It should work on the 2.2.1 ROMs.
About flash player it was said many times it don't work due to hardware dependencies (processor)

it works on 2.2.1 , about week ago i`ve played final fantasy 7 on FPse
Flash player works on x8...flash lite.... Using sense ui rom...ive tested it and it works...the problem with sense ui rom of racth, it doesnt have signal...you can use its wifi

latest releases of FPse are supposed to work on android 2.1.

n64oid - won't work, you can install it on 2.3, but it doesn't load any roms, gets fc. there were some ppl reporting that they're managed to run it on armv6 devices like x10mini - but it's not confirmed by any video, so i personally don't belive it (pics or it didnt happen ). but if thats true, then afaik x10mini has like 1,5x more RAM, so that might be the case.
the best rom? minicm, if you want everything to work, floyo if you wan't better performance

Flash player now works fully. (10.2) Check this thread:

Note that Opera _Mobile_ does not recognize that flash has been installed on phone, but with stock browser it's good (I haven't tested more browsers though)

Yes it works. tested with mirien and dolphin browser. be sure to uninstall flash lite first though.

Hi Guys,
i Finally managed to get cyanogen mod on my phone thanks to you however after a little while i noticed there was no flash player.
i thought you couldn't get 10.2 because you need a ARM v7 processor, so is there any other way of getting some form of flash player(especially for the web browser)
any help would greatly be appreciated

Yes on sense rom you can have flash. Because cyanogenmod is not sense you can't have working flash. Cyanogenmod with working flash player will be ultimate rom. Maybe sometime in the future.

Skyfire suport Flash.
I also thought it would work but I even tried manually downloading the flash player apk and installed but the browser does not recognize the adobe flash player because I can't open flash websites
So, which ROM is better for GT540??
2.3.5 is best in my opinion I tried the 2.2 roms didn't like them tried mur4iks work loved it never looked back

mur4ik cant do anything about the battery. that is why our phone is never officially updated to 2.3 cus 2.3 is power hungry and so using alot of battery

I know, and that is why I ask about Froyo ROMs..
Well, if you just want a stock looking, fast ROM, then go for AOSP, but if you want more themes, and other mods then go for Utopia.
I'm staying on Utopia.. and I will make MIUI theme for it when I get my phone back..

Works fine for me, try flashing gapps. Download this, put it on the SDCard and flash it using Clockwork Recovery.
Utopia anytime, miroslav_mm is working really hard on it. It's a lot more 'complete' than AOSP

Utopia was my favorite until the RC3 version came out. I had a lot of trouble trying to make Link2SD work (I experimented with different versions of Busybox and finally I got it to recognize the second partition) but today I had another problem with WiFi, which suddenly stopped seeing my WPA2 home network. I had to go back to my previous version, where everything works...
I'm really intrigued about Utopia. I've read that it's fast yet it doesn't eat up battery like other roms. I'm just wondering how do I upgrade to that. I currently have stock eclair and somewhat of a noob when it comes to rom upgrading. Thanks

You could flash a Fastboot ROM vis KDZ. It could be one of the many ways.
Adobe Flash player 11.0 for our devices, works on youtube and embedded videos.

Edit: Seems in the application menu its version is 11..... but on adobe's site it is 10.3...., am not entirely sure why that is but for m anyway it seems to run smoother, plus you get adobe settings in app draw which I didn't have in 10.2 (10.3 didn't work for me )

Awesome thanks! Adobe.com says it's still 10.3, but it seems quite a bit faster while using less resources to me. I've used Skyfire up til now for embedded videos, but this seems to work just as good if not faster. And I can pause, rewind, and fast forward with this!

This is a gateway app.... I can run flash but my OptimusV screen is so small I want a bigger screen GRRR..
I have a tablet but I can't carry that around all the time. Where's the variable screen size using holograms phone???

Wow does it really play 480p & 320p videos without lag?If it does then this isnt a placebo effect,its actual flash player 11.0
320p works fine for me but am overclocked on performance 480p is alright but abit jumpy

I think works on froyo and real good.......
I have miks v6.5.8.......
My wife open optimus v1.148(froyo)and working(v10.2).....
Also i told to a friend with zte blade with froyo rom and works too(v10.2).......
So i think its works on froyo too....

And now videos streaming better than with 10.3......
I don't know what happening .....
But its almost runs perfect(over wifi).....

I have tried JB on my Willy. but I would highly recommend a cm9 rom if you really want android 4.+
cm9 is much faster than cm10.

Normally use gingerbread but was testing out jb on wildfire, was quite slow and unstable so was looking for some scripts to help. Safe to say I'll be moving down to cm9 or lower soon :laugh:
You can also give V6 Supercharger a try, installing it is probably the most fun you can get while installing something ever, lol.
