works like a charm on Cyanogenmod 7 RC4, even lockscreen commands, replaced old music.apk with new one in system/app (s-off or via adb)
enjoy!
cheers
I agree it works great - a big improvement from the previous leak.
This is also being covered in the general Android Apps and Games forum:

Larger than Winamp (7MB as opposed to 3MB once installed)
How did you get the lockscreen commands working? I had nothing. I'd maybe use it then as it does look nice, but Winamp has a better widget, plus lock screen.
It is force closing on my desire using gingervillian... any ideas?
it is working on my Viewpad 10s not optimal but useble..
Mine keeps saying "application not installed". I'm using oxygen 2.0.3. Any ideas?
I cant get it to install. I says application not installed everytime. I read somewhere that i has to do with the fact that i installed the older leaked version. How do i remove the old version completely?

Maybe someone can make a flashable zip of it?

Yes. That would be nice.
Not good... tried a few things.. looks ok .. uninstalled
buggy on oxygen 2.0.3
I really liked the interface though it is quite minimal so it's a shame that:
interface is slow to load and lags (not just on first load)
scrobbling gets very confused (last.fm doesn't know what to do and flashes scrobbling notification repeatedly).
uninstalled.
edit
downloaded a different version from some forum after reading an article about syncing music with latest music app. seemed to work very smoothly indeed.
I installed the one from here: Official Android Music 3.0 Beta! Get It Now!.
It works fine with the MIUI 1.4.8. But I'm missing some features like sleep timer, editing ID3-Tags. But I like the interface.
Is there a way of making this the default music app and having it work with the HTC Lockscreen? I Like it other than that.
I don't like it at all. It looks quite cheap compared to the older version... and compared to other players, including the stock HTC music player. Also, why so laggy?
thanks for this...
gooooooooood

Hi all!
I'm new to the Wp7 world and i'm very liking it
On my device I've got android before (hd2), and now Wp7, my question is about Youtube videos:
in pre-noDo update (I tested it like 4 months ago) I was able to watch youtube videos in browser, simply using the Microsoft youtube app, and setting my region in USA;
Now with NoDo, even using the USA location and region, and installed youtube app...Youtube videos embeded asks for flash (pre-Nodo will show a play button that calls the youtube app)
How can I fix this?
I searched already, all fixes refers to pre-NoDo OS and the only fix found is to set my region to USA (wich I already did)...
Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot!

Go Back and install the old rom that was working. Then go to this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1013035
Let us know if this way works or not? As may be missing in the new updated nodo roms??
FPM
mmh from what I read, on HD2, we cannot directly update to NoDo from 7008, but we had to have a coocked rom (if it was possible I think we had not w8 so many time xD)

My mistake, thats for the real WP7 and not the HD2-WP7. Maybe the Mango update will fix it?????
I hope mango is full of awesomeness xD with HTML5 no need of a client app...
for now its really annoing to have this iussue...I can live without flash as its not important, but at least youtube videos I want them working :-(

I use the standard HTC you tube, but there is a lot more in the Market place? Maybe one for you?
I use lazytube and its awesome!
It is almost identical to the new youtube client in android!
The only problem for me is to watch them in the browser, as it very annoing to have to search on the app a video, so I have to exit browser and all...
up!
hoping for solutios D:
I think it's because youtube has updated it's imbedded youtube player thingy. If you find and OLD youtube video at lets say pocketnow, it will still play.
Try this url on your phone:
http://m.pocketnow.com/android/verizon-htc-thunderbolt-hands-on-video
Alright it worked...
So it's YouTubes fault... Hoping they upgrade youtube plugin fast... Or release ie9 before mango lol xD
Hey everyone!
Here's the music app pulled from new android ICS.
It runs smooth and I really like it.
First time it will take a bit to load all your music.
Installation: just install it as a regular apk. It will do fine.
(do a backup just in case)

Actually, it ain't different :/ but I thought it would be correct since it's only available in the us through the market.
All in one, I thought it would be nice to leave this registered in the forum for others
I installed the first one and it's a bit slower than version 3...
$omator,
Is there any possibility of getting that coverflow of the recent tab on the artists tab in landscape?
Ty
i do not understand ) what is coverflow
That neat effect of scrolling through the album covers. It only appears in landscape in the recent tab.. :/ I would like to have that same effect but on the artists tab, is that possible to hack?
that is in fact very good question
same as where is ability to set particular soundclip as a ringtone
i think those features will get updated (and maybe more added) with next updates rolling out

It's a pity that we can't use this app to select the ringtone... I hope Google will add this in the near future!
Yeah, it's a shame.. They'll certainly add that in the next update. I just wish they would put that album cover scrolling effect in the artists tab and the others
unfortunatly it is not available in all countries
pro tip: you can activate google music via proxy and then use it normaly
t least tht was what ive done when was invited to beta

the cloud is if you change proxy.
if you just want the player, you can download the apk attached to the first post
OR
you can download "market enabler" from the market, choose an american provider, go to market and download google music (it should be there after changing to a us carrier)
thanks man!
Thanks dude!
You are both welcome

But on the sgs I get a better sound from the stock player (TWplayer) just by playing with the built-in equalizer and effects ( and the voodoo tweaks of course)
With the ics music player I can easily enable MusicFX and Equalizer apps and play with the settings, but still, I get better results with sgs stock player
Thanks button hit

Honestly, I don't use this music app. I use poweramp, which is the best player imo.. :b regarding stock music players, I think I prefer this one. But it has a lot to improve, like the miserable lack of setting a song as a ringtone! ahah hope we get that in next updates
mmm finally got it working on teamhacksungs ICS build, a great improvement over the old music app its actually usable now lol
I have a 2013 prius stock and a galaxy s4... When I had stock Rom my music information that showed on the prius screen came up but I was unable to change songs or go to playlists through the prius screen. I went to paranoid android Rom and now for all song music it is showing as unavailable and the contacts do not sync.... I have heard it might be the aosp or something like that.... is there ANY WAY to fix this

No there is no way to fix this. AOSP-based roms do not have the correct AVCRP version to support this feature. Previously, CM9 or 10 supported this with bluestack's cherry pick, but bluestacks has not updated this iirc.
You're SOL, sorry.

Dang so there is no way to add this in with a script or such? Or Download an app that supports it? ..

You could flash the Google Edition 4.2.2 , while not aosp, it has the vanilla flavor, bout you miss out on customization. Once 4.3 is released we should be good as the new Bluetooth stacks will have it
Sent from my SGH-I337 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
so is there currently any ROM that has the qualifications to allow me to play and stream music info to my car?
Any ROM will stream music into your car.
NON TOUCHWIZ ROMS will not stream Music information into your car.
It's as simple as that.
Google doesn't support it. Samsung has to add that feature, so thats why it only works on Touchwiz.
It's been a problem ever since 4.2 came out. With 4.1, custom ROM's like Cyanogenmod could manually add the feature in, but since Google changed the bluetooth stack on 4.2, nobody has either A) figured it out or B) gave it time to look into it.

Yes.
Everyone says that 4.3 will support it, but since Google never said anything about it (and I assume it doesn't work on the leaked 4.3 ROM) I would say to just either tough it out, or stick with a TW ROM. And get Nova launcher or something.
I kindly request someone to Build/Develop a Eleven music player / Music player in linage OS for non rooted OnePlus 5 device.

Well, I didn't try installing it before posting it here, but now that you said it, I did actually try installing it as a user app (which didn't work, and like you, the app installs but fails to launch).
I thought maybe including the additional library file (librsjni.so) would help, so I whipped up a flashable zip which installed the app as a system app with the library file & flashed it in TWRP. It showed up in the app drawer, but like before, failed to launch.
My best guess is that it needs some dependencies to work properly that are only present in LOS & Custom ROMs based on LOS.

That's a shame. Eleven is my favorite music player by far (I just wish it had built in Chromecast support!), And I've had a hard time finding a suitable replacement for the OP5. But hey, props for trying my friend!
If the apk doesn't install get root and put apk in /system/app then set permissions for apk to 644 (Owner R/W, Group and Global R)
Yeah, but there are few apps like Walkman from sony, we have a cracked version of apk which can be installed in many android device without rooting the Mobile. Is there any chance of getting Eleven music player same way !!??

I think you missed my post above where I mentioned I tried doing exactly that and the app just doesn't start. Installation is not an issue even as a user app, making it launch is the deal-breaker as of now.

I think you mean ported not cracked. Proper ports add the missing libraries/dependencies to the apk so that the app can be installed as a standalone app on any device and it'll work, since the libraries/dependencies needed are bundled with the apk, and need not be present in the ROM being used.

I've been using the free version of Shuttle on and off for years. It's honestly my second choice in the line-up of music players out there, but I did have a couple issues with it (mostly artwork related). I might as well purchase it and send some money the dev's way — he still did a pretty damn good job on it, and I'd like to see him continue working on it, even if Shuttle is open sourced now.
Funny how I'll spend hundreds of dollars, no questions asked, on a phone, despite the fact that my previous one was still in perfect condition and could still hold its own against current choices on the market, yet the idea of spending one measly dollar on an app makes me hesitate.
