I got my transformer yesterday. Plugged it into the tv through a recently bought cable, and everything was working fine.
I take out the cable, tried to root (without success) and reformated my tf. Now the hdmi cable does not send signal anymore to the tv.
Any suggestions? Thank you

Hey guys,
I recently purchased a micro hdmi to regular hdmi. I plugged it in my television and it recognized that it had made an hdmi connection but nothing was showing up on the tv.
I unplugged it and figured although it had over 30 5star reviews for a 3 dollar cable it must be garbage. I re-plug in my hd cable box and xbox 360 and now no hdmi inputs are working on the television.
I swapped the tv out with my brothers and replug the hd box and 360 and it still isn't working! I have no idea what the problem may be. Could I have somehow shorted the inputs on the 360 and hd box?
I did try and use a new cable on the swapped tv and still nothing! I am starting to worry that somehow my home entertainment system is now shot due to just plugging in my damn phone into my tv, but I have no idea how it would effect my brothers television.
It could be a loose connection/cold solder joint. It may have just happened when you plugged that cable in. Do you have a warranty on the TV?
was the TV on when you did this?
Yesterday I bought a micro HDMI to HDMI cable to connect my iconia to my TV. I plugged it in and it worked. I tried doing the same today, but nothing happened, no picture on the TV and no notification on the tablet. Anyone got any ideas about how to fix this issue?
Edit: It looks like you can't use it while charging the tablet.
So I bought one of those cheap (sub $1) OTG adapters from Amazon, and up until today it worked. I was able to import photos from my digital camera and use a USB mouse. Today I can't get it to work at all. Not the mouse, not the camera, not anything else.
Regular USB (charging and PTP mode, I would have tested MTP as well, but it's not compatable with my laptop) works fine. I'm able to transfer files to and from the tablet, and it charges fine.
Is something wrong with the OTG cable or my tablet? Will I have to buy a new OTG cable to test?
If its only <$1 just get another one or two! Sounds like a cable problem if everything else is working

Are you using stick mount to load the OTG onto the N10? If so thats probably why. When i first installed my stickmount it worked but wouldn't see any of the files on the USB drive. Now after i've unlocked and rooted the device it won't even show the usb drive attached. I switched to Nexus media importer and it works fine, but i believe stickmount is having issues with 4.2.
However if the OTG cables did cost you less than a buck replacing them may be the solution too.
Has anyone had any luck with getting TV Out to work with their S4 Active? Has anyone even tried to see if it works? If you got it to work what adapter did you use? I just tried with this PNY adapter I bought with no luck, and I was wondering if anyone else has tried.
*edit*
Seems I got the wrong adapter. Didn't realize there were 5 pin adapters for the older phones and 11 pin adapters for the newer phones.
Ok so I went out and got the correct MHL to HDMI adapter and I attempted to connect my phone to my monitor -- an ASUS VX238H -- using three different HDMI Cables. First I tried a Spyder C Class HDMI cable followed by a Belkin HDMI cable my phonee recognized being plugged into a HDMI cable but my monitor didn't detect any signal. I just now tried this off brand HDMI cable I had and when I plugged it in my monitor went black (It has two HDMI ports with my computer plugged into HDMI1 and my phone plugged into HDMI2). So my question is is there a specific type of cable I have to use or some feature some HDMI clables have that I don't want to use (such as Ethernet)?
S4 Active has it's own forum now...

Have a Shield TV Pro (2015) was working fine. Not using it for a long time due to moving. Turn it on this week and now no ports are working. I use usb cable to connect it to PC, but no device recognized. Plugged it to my router, can not see it connect to the lan. I tried to use usb cable to connect to my phone to see if it will charge my phone. Got nothing at all. and HDMI no signal at all. However, the lights on and the hard drive can spin.
Has anyone tried USB-TTL or jtag to recover it?
for those gave replaced hard drive. Is it possible that the hard drive problem could cause no port working?
Still stock firmware, never rooted. Please help. Thanks.
shield tv pro 2015 ethernet port not working
I was using it to stream a movie last night, turned it on this morning no ethernet connection. Tried everything, factory reset was my last option, still no joy. With out cable connection in australia the unit is a paper weight. Anyone have any suggestions, looks like the l/0 board in these things can be changed out pretty easily, but were do you get the spare parts?
