Curious if its worth it?

Yes. Every penney. I have used mine for two months now. Thickness is same now as my N900, so not bad size.

I bought the cheap Chinese one for 10 bucks on eBay, liked it so much I decided to buy the seidio one for 60 bucks.

I have never, ever come close to running out of battery since I got one of these...

I have a 2150 mAh battery it was worth it so I know 3500 mAh is well worth it if something goes wrong with mine I'm goin to Seidio next.

I had the 2150, wasn't enough for me... was always dying by the time I got back from class at night. The 3500 Seidio... is a beast... like actually lol

Yeah well with oc 1190 mhz and streaming music all day at work 2150mAh does me fine at work

Best battery for its size?

Whats the best brand/size battery for long life thats not that big? Or is it worth getting the huge 3500mAh one? Are there any SMALLER ones that are comparable?

I am using the HTC 2150mah and I would definitely say it's worth it.

I use a potato with zinc and copper wires.

I have a 1500mah HTC battery and the 2150. I think the 2150 is worth it. The central hump on the battery cover is extended about the size of the stock battery out. I'd be lying to say it doesn't look a *little* weird at first but it's really not bad after you get used to it. The battery life is much better though so it's of course a trade off. I didn't experience much of any improvement with the 1500 battery but I didn't use it for too long.

+1 on the 2150. I own the stock battery, the 17xxmah (I forget), and the 2150mah. I went through a period of going between the 17 and the 21. I finally settled on the 21.
It give it a little more bulk but I find that the phone is very easy to hold with the bump since the back of you thumb is on one side and palm on the other.

I popped a 3000 mah in mine and love it. Little thicker but it doesn't bother me at all.

I have the 3500, a 1500, a 2150 (which I gave my wife) and I bought 2 EVO 1800 which should be here tomorrow.
The 1500 is fairly good and worth the 10 bucks you can get it for.
The 2150 is not worth it IMO only because for not much more you can get the 3500.
The 3500 is definitely worth it if you can stand the bigger size.
I will come back and comment on the 1800's next week after I play with them a few days.

Who makes the 1800 batteries?

I got the HTC OEM 1500mah battery (used for another HTC phone but fits our Incs) on ebay from the seller bidallies. It was $14 and provides an excellent bump over the 1300mah stock Inc battery. It out performs the Seidio 1750mah battery that I handed down to my wifes Eris.
Best part about the 1500mah is that it does not change the size of your phone. I like the Inc in it's orig slim form factor. I tried the 2150 and while battery life was great I just could not get used to the thickness and added weight

Edit 1: I am running Redemption Rom 2.0.4 w/ KingKlick #5 Kernel. I have Launcher Pro Plus installed and it I have the Friends widget set to update at 15 minute intervals.

Woah, for $40 you get two 1800 batteries AND that snazzy wall charger??
Also, uptime and awake time?
Is it worth it? I don't have enough on me atm to get the 2150, so that 1800 bundle looks REALLY nice.

I think its definitely worth it. I will be passing my 3500 on to my wife or sell it to my buddy. I have been up over 14 hours now and I still have plenty of battery left. Plus I keep my slim form factor

I read some of the reviews on there and some people had problems with the case not snapping on all the way? Do you have that problem?

Nope my case snaps fine, but back when I tried to put the 1500 battery in it was a tight fit.

Its the evo battery. I ran mine since day one and have loved it. No complaints and have never ran the stock battery so I dont know how that performs.

IMHO the 1750 from Seidio is complete crap. The stock battery lasts longer for me. Someone had a good link showing some tests that demonstrated that the "1750" was really not that capacity.
I am definitely interested in the 1800mAh battery and would like to hear how it works out. I have to carry both batteries to make it through a day with heavy usage. I'd love to just feel comfortable starting a day with a full charge and knowing I would make it back home at night with a little reserve left in the battery.

I plan on starting to keep my 3g connection alive always while at work (BAD SIGNAL), brightness turned up more , 4G more often , And best of all ramp up my CPU to 1300 - 1400 depending on how i feel ... Looks like the one I got off e-bay for $21 that came with an extra data cable. I use my phone differently everyday but certainly seems to get double stock battery life. It works well. This is the one I got:

Seems to work better and calibrates the phone if you do this the first time. Don't matter after.

Its due to the fact that android's battery meter is more of a demand meter, so if you don't run it all the way down the first couple times it won't read remaining battery life correctly and try to make you charge when you're at h alf battery.

Hrm. I've had a 3500mah + extended back cover for several weeks now as purchased off eBay. This was before I knew about the wonders of Juice Defender and custom roms that helped increase battery life. This was when I was getting a few mere hours out of the stock battery before needing to charge.
Anyhow, the 3500 did increase life. I'd say it doubled it. After I found out about JuiceDefender, I only stayed with the 3500 for about two days before I reverted back to the stock battery. With JD, I can easily get all day out of the stock battery. It's amazing.
I just took the cover off the 3500 to see if I have two 1200's or two 1500's sandwiched together. I took the end cap off and indeed there are two cells laying on each other, but don't want to disassemble any further. Battery is a nice spare to have.

Either way, It's an extra 2 batterys and battery charger for £12, I might buy to try

If people want to buy a cheaper battery but one that wont f**k up your phone go to www.7dayshop.com ive been buying from this company for years and have nothing but praise for them and have never had any bad experiences, they might be cheap but everything they sell is guaranteed, im sure others on here from UK and Ireland and beyond will vouch for this company.

Isn't there a way to effectively measure it's capacity, or any other battery for that matter?

I have a Thunder AC6, it will charge virtually any battery and give it`s true capacity, this is one of the cheapest multi-chargers you can get, the only problem is connecting the battery to the charger, you will have to make a jig or something.

Whoaaa. This is a beast. Problem is, I suck at jiggling with stuff like that. But it sure seems to be the right tool for the job.

I bought this from Amazon.us and for the last 2 weeks using only Anker battery. They are not fake, very good on the contrary. With Green power on I had over 40 hours standby.

I have purchased 3 of them for my sensation and they are by far better then the stock batteries. I get on average about 15-17 hours of moderate to heavy usuage. I'm actually going to be getting the Samsung Galaxy S2 Epic 4g Touch on the 16th and hope that they make batteries for that phone to.

Since my original battery defected, i had to look for an replacement and found on ebay, chinese manifacturer called Gold that makes significantly higher capacity batteries in the same size as the original ones.

they advertise them at 3300mah (the original one is 2600, so that's about 25% more in the same dimensions)

I wouldn't buy any generic battery without any indication of Quality Control. Battery could easily overheat and cause equipment damage.

yeah well, the QC passed one got fat on the second month
brand doesn't mean much to me anymore, in the end most of the stuff is made on the same place
just the brand stuff is 10x the price, but never 10x the quality
anyway, i'm not asking for general advice on how to live and what to do, but specific question about this kind of battery

These "gold" batteries are worse than a gold iPhone.
Jokes aside, don't ever buy these. Ever. No quality control and super fake mah labels. My backup second-hand Galaxy S came with a 2640mah gold battery. The size is same as the original... lasts even less.

I don't remember maybe someone her will. There's a 3000mah battery for the gs4 that's the same size just no NFC. May be zerolemon unsure.

Polarcell has a 2900 mAh battery with NFC. I am considering buying one, had one in my I9000 and was very very pleased with its performance.

just get the original battery. I think samsung is packaging it with its own battery charger as well.
Anyway, I am not the type whom like to snap off the case to change a battery, i would stick to portable charger or case battery which is more convenient.
