Alright... I've removed the form. I hope the 600+ people who did get in appreciate it. For those that did not, keep trying the shared post. If you never got that, email me.
I am about to do Round 6 - so wait till say Sunday night to ask again

Thanks for sharing wall. But it no longer works. Google is redirecting me to "keep me posted message" when I click Join Google+ on your profile

Yeah, sucks. I updated the OP. I will use all emails for my invites when they open it back up.
I was able to get a good # in before they caught the loophole atleast!!

Alright, keep signing the form... got another method that is working.
And it was fixed.

What about ebay invites? Are those legit? There are plenty of them with prices ranging from $1-$50 or more. I'm tempted to try but don't know if it will work

google+ hangout video chat plugin

Has anyone figured out a way to get Google+ video chat to work? I'm trying to join a hangout and use voice chat but it wants to install a plugin. Any help would be appreciated.

Hopefully they will just integrate it in instead of leaving it to die. It's virtually the same back end system driving it, no reason to abandon gTalk.

Ok,we're losing track here.. lets get back to the hangout/plugin troubles.
What I dont get is... how is it that Google is the one who makes Android,yet Android doesnt have any plugin for google video/voice.
G+ is still not public. Its closed & invite only still. So maybe theye'r still doing development on it. ..But wouldnt you as the company who invented Android want video/voice in the system natively from the start? Strange that theye'r not thinking like that.

Hangout video works for me on my wifi xoom.
I can't start a chat, but if I follow an invitation the video chat starts. I wonder why my Bluetooth headset isn't supporter, but this might depend on me...

Just tried it... seems to work pretty good. I don't have a cam on my laptop, so that box was empty, but the video from my xoom seemed rather low quality.
Is there a setting to adjust that? Or does it use other factors to adjust the quality?

There are no limits to invites. One person could conceivably invite the entire population of this forum.

I was gonna ask that because I haven't had a limit when I have invited friends and family.

I have plenty of invites as well. I have been adding XDAers as I see them in their signatures. You guys all know there is not one big XDA circle, right? It's not like a group on facebook. Unless there's something someone hasn't told me about ....

Yeah the more bogged down their servers get the more they will periodically shut down the ability to invite. Personally, I'm ready to shut down Facebook.

I have thought about closing my FB, but some of my friends and family don't want to jump ship. So I'll be using G+ for XDA, which lets me interact a little better with the rest of the community. I personally prefer G+ more than FB ...

Lol tell me about it. I posted the link on facebook and only two people actually used it. Google+ is pretty cool but I only have one person in my circle and that's a fellow xda'er. It's quite sad actually :'(. My family and friends just aren't interested.
Edit: BTW for the people who haven't noticed, you get 150 invites automatically. I don't think these pertain to sending requests personally through email but I could be wrong.

essentially, it's google's answer to facebook. more status/photo/video sharing, and no farmville crap. you can also break your contacts up into 'circles' so that what you post in one circle, isn't seen in another circle, unless you want it to be. along with integrated individual and group chats.
