Anyone have a google+ invite?!?!?

Wow, I feel like it's the whole google wave thing all over again, but if anyone has a google+ invite they could throw my way, I would really appreciate it

Google closed down the invites due to an insane demand.

I have to say I am optimistic. I think there are a lot of people that would welcome an alternative to facebook.

g+ is pretty tyte. lotsa android folks on already
but like dude said we can't send any more invites

Ugg, of course invites would be closed down. God, I got the Google Voice invite right away, and that was way better than google wave.....come on google! Open this bad boy up already!

Google+ is awesome. A big group from the Android Community are already there. I'll be more than happy to send out as many invites as i can once is enabled again. PM me your emails, and once they feature is back, i'll send them out

I too would like to have this I was looking for it today then read they closed it if they open it please pm as well it would be much appreciated.

I was able to send out some invites right now if anyone is interested pm your email. You may or may not be able to get in, i cant guarantee that but i just sent locoboi187 one and hes in
Edit: ok I have sent out a few more invites to those who pm'd, let me knw if you were able to get in, if not then we must wait for google to enable the feature again.
Edit: I have gotten confirmation from a few that they were able to get in

Those of you that i just invited and got in, you can keep the invites going by sharing any post. see attachment below (this method may or may not work)
Edit: Theres also a google+ app for ur device. If u were sent an invite try and log in from this app if ur not at a pc.

theres a box u can type in like facebook where it says stream. inside it says "share whats new" post anything and after you will be able to comment on that post or share. like the image above. it may or may not work.

Because its a beta and they want to experiment with it before going fully live. This has been going on a long time with Google products. Not to mention, the amount of demand makes the "product" be more worthy and more hype is created.
Gmail: Limited invites -> Slowly expands -> becomes the next biggest thing
Google voice: Limited invites -> slowly expands -> well.. not biggest thing but popular

Loopholes are not closed unless they did it today. I invited a friend just this morning and it worked fine.

google+ hangout video chat plugin

Has anyone figured out a way to get Google+ video chat to work? I'm trying to join a hangout and use voice chat but it wants to install a plugin. Any help would be appreciated.

Hopefully they will just integrate it in instead of leaving it to die. It's virtually the same back end system driving it, no reason to abandon gTalk.

Ok,we're losing track here.. lets get back to the hangout/plugin troubles.
What I dont get is... how is it that Google is the one who makes Android,yet Android doesnt have any plugin for google video/voice.
G+ is still not public. Its closed & invite only still. So maybe theye'r still doing development on it. ..But wouldnt you as the company who invented Android want video/voice in the system natively from the start? Strange that theye'r not thinking like that.

Hangout video works for me on my wifi xoom.
I can't start a chat, but if I follow an invitation the video chat starts. I wonder why my Bluetooth headset isn't supporter, but this might depend on me...

Just tried it... seems to work pretty good. I don't have a cam on my laptop, so that box was empty, but the video from my xoom seemed rather low quality.
Is there a setting to adjust that? Or does it use other factors to adjust the quality?

There are no limits to invites. One person could conceivably invite the entire population of this forum.

I was gonna ask that because I haven't had a limit when I have invited friends and family.

I have plenty of invites as well. I have been adding XDAers as I see them in their signatures. You guys all know there is not one big XDA circle, right? It's not like a group on facebook. Unless there's something someone hasn't told me about ....

Yeah the more bogged down their servers get the more they will periodically shut down the ability to invite. Personally, I'm ready to shut down Facebook.

I have thought about closing my FB, but some of my friends and family don't want to jump ship. So I'll be using G+ for XDA, which lets me interact a little better with the rest of the community. I personally prefer G+ more than FB ...

If anyone has a dropbox account, I am willing to give you an extra 25GB. I have 4 HTC onex which will allow me to add 25gb on top of your dropbox account. I bought these phones for family back in Nepal, since it is a gift and knowing that they don't have good Internet I have decided to use the dropbox 25gb for myself.
