I love using my atrix as webtop on my television, but the problem is i do not have a bluetooth keyboard or mouse. I was wondering is there a way to use the wiimote as a mouse, i am not saying using the wiimotes pointer or sensor, just the d-pad and the B and A button for left and right clicking. I want to be able to control my atrix from my couch.
Also is there a way to have a virtual keyboard popup on the webtop?
Bump, anyone have an answer/suggestion?
That would be sweet. I could donate some to a dev for this.

Does the webtop hack have any lag when you play games?
I was watching youtube video and seemed like it had a tiny bit of lag.

Yes there is lag when using the phone mirror on the webtop. Makes games hard to play (such as emulators). We still need landscape hdmi mirroring to work so we can play games through hdmi.
search to market for wii. There are a few apps that let you connect a wiimote for playing games/emulators.
If I recall, one of them lets you map the buttons how you want. While you may not get smooth mouse movement, you might get the d pad to work..
Hello All
I have a Surface Pro 2 and would like to play on the touch screen gamepad.
I really like to play the old games and emulators.
I have two gamepad touchscreen applications:
-GestureWorks Gameplay - Very good gamepad, but it only works for Steam and the does not work for DirectX8 games.
-Virtual Palmtime.net gamepad gamepad also very good but
games are not smooth when play with a Virtala gamepad.

Are there other applications touch gamepad?

I tried setting up a Nexus Player or a Harmony Keyboard on the Harmony remote, neither displays the keyboard pad for using the Nexus player.
if setup as Harmony keyboard, it is possible to use the keyboard via the android app... but I just bought a $350 remote.
Nobody? There are a lot of creative ppl here.
I'm looking to consolidate all of my remotes, and it seems like a Harmony hub remote with the optional keyboard is the only all-in-one solution for my setup (TV, soundbar, Nexus Player).
Browsing the Logitech forums, however, it seems that a lot of people are having problems with Harmony remotes and the Nexus Player. Can anyone confirm that the Harmony keyboard touchpad works as a mouse with the Nexus Player?
Yep, it works great. When you set it up as a device, use asus nexus player. It has pretty good support now.
Can I use the nexus player as an android "desktop" and attach a keyboard and mouse?
Have this thing sitting around collecting dust. I'd like to root it and do some stuff with it. I was thinking attaching some wireless gamepads and emulating classic games. I wouldnt mind attaching a keyboard and mouse, and then using it as sort of a "chromebox", for things like google docs, MS office for android, and stuff like that.
Anyone try this out? Is it possible?
yea bluetooth or the logitech's rf mice and keyboards work fine
