I want my I8000 turn off on 9pm and turn on on 5 am,Ive installed Autoflight but when I set power off it only turn screen off not power off.Any one give me solution for this or any program to use to turn off using Autoflight?
Thanks!
Why would you want to turn off your phone? If it's to save battery, you could simply switch to airplane mode. I have written a scheduling app that could do that and some other stuff, but i see you're already using Autoflight.
From what i know using an app that can turn off you phone would require root privileges.

Greets.
Every time my magician battery goes down, the next time I use bluetooth I get
"Turn off flight mode first", even after the battery is fully charged.
Then, I must turn on flight mode, and turn it off, and then I must insert the phone PIN. THis is really annoying,
Is there any fix for this?
Dont know if you could stop it doing that.
It turns off the sd/mmc slot and phone to conserve power, when the battery is low. I find it lasts the longest per a percent when those things are off.
After all, it is a pda and it doese function more than a phone. Its just trying to save your data.
Registry hacks anyone?
whitemoo.
I get this issue even after I fully charge the battery.
For example, the battery goes low. I charge it, and then if I try to use bluetooth I get that message "please turn flight mode off".
find this
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\FlightMode]
"PhoneLocalizedName"="Phone.lnk"
& rename
like this-
"PhoneLocalizedName"="TPhone.lnk"
it`ll never be " Turn off flight mode first"
message
Is there any side effect?
quite possibly a silly question
Is there a way to keep it from disconnecting when the phone goes to sleep?
Because if i want to keep bejive on, when i wake up the phone it tries to connect through 3G...
oh and.. in a related matter, is there something i can do so it asks me if i want to connect to 3G, instead of just connecting automatically?

get schaps advanced configuration tool link
in the tool click menu>more settings>connections>Enable wifi on standby mode.
click ok > done. reboot the device. that's it.
wifi remains active when the phone goes in standby.
(when the phone is set to blank screen mode wifi turns off anyway. this seems not to be configurable.)
I think is easier to unthick to turn off screen....Or to dimm light after few second unthick both battery proprties advanced,....
Hope you get it
Is there a way to enable the wi-fi to stay on after the device has turned it's self off after not being used for x amount of time?
i.e. I am running wmtorrent and would like it to continue to download with the backlight off.

If you want to keep the wifi on when you're in standby mode, use WifiNoStandby, in my sig.
Does anyone know if using the Green Power app will conflict with settings in the default battery manager?
ie i have green power set to turn wireless off for 30min and then on for 2min.
but i also have my custom battery saver mode to completely turn data off during off-peak hours after 15min of inactivity.
I would like for Green Power to work under my battery saver mode. aka i want battery saver mode to take precedence.
thanks.

Its like making two bosses settle for one more one less. Might create conflicts. I use 'super power' to turn off wifi. But then don't use internal battery settings.
yea i think im just going to mess around with both individually and see which one gives me better battery life.

Green Power doesn't work that well on mine; wifi & data are toggled randomly, wifi stays on when screen is off, etc.
I was just mailing with the dev of Green app; he doesn't know either why it happens; ""Low level things like Mobile Data (and Wifi) are quite device specific. Which makes life harder for Android developers than iPhone developers..."".
Waiting for further response, will post here if anything changes..
whenever Green Power turns off my mobile data, it will stay off forever until i reboot. i can get calls and sms, but data will not work. turning off green power and cycling airplane mode doesn't work either.

The same thing happened to me once, but after a reboot it has never happened again.

Considering the Atrix has a built in Battery Manager maybe if you set the built in one to the Max Performance where there is no restrictions then use a 3rd party battery manager?
It just seems there will be some conflicts.

Are any of you that are having this problem using widget locker? I was using widget locker on mine and GP couldn't recognize when the phone was unlocked... something to consider... I don't use it now (running Gingerblur) and GP works like a CHARM. One of the best apps on my phone

I use the internal battery manager only for the screen dimming when it hits a certain percent. Green Power does all the rest and I get killer battery life. I suggest you all do the same. Ditch the 3rd party launcher and set up Green Power with the settings listed in the battery thread.

stock locker. GP has frustrated me now that i've stopped using it. the only way to get my data connection working again was to stop the program. even cycling airplane mode did nothing.

Running any weird power control widgets? I'm using the stock android power control for all of that nonsense and it works perfect. Maybe some widgetsoid/third party something isn't registering?
It's a shame, and I hope it starts working for you bc it really is a great thing.
Right now I'm at 1d 1h 32m 18s since unplugged.
Ive had similar issues with green power on my N1 running CM7RC2.
I have noticed the issue seems to be linked to the Day and night mode Toggle if screen ON/Toggle if screen unlocked options
If these options are turned on then app may work for a while and then after some time data will just stay on and never turn off
If these options are off service will work for requested On/Off durations but wont turn data back on when screen is on or unlocked even if manually selecting to enable it.
I tried with this tasker rule set also but didn't seem to work

I have setup the phone to sync weather for example every half an hour. If the phone is on stand by it does not sync. It is as if it turns off the data connection. Any help would be appreciated.
Any ideas? It will only sync when the phone is awake and unlocked? If the phone is locked it doesn't sync
Im surpriesed nobody can help with this!
You are certain it is only the weather that is not auto updating?

That is the only thing I have noticed so far.
No help at all? Basicily data does not sync at all when the phone is on stand by. It is as if the data connection disconnects. I cant seem to work out how to "keep it alive" Any help would be appreciated.
GhostXSeries, what activity do you expect from your phone in stand by (sleep) mode?
Sleep mode also called "standby mode" is an inactive state of the device that is quickly brought back into action by touching any keyboard key or pressing the on/off switch. It is used to save battery power.
In sleep mode the screen is turned off, all system processes are suspended (including data transfer), and the CPU is throttled down to its lowest power state - no activity. However, all instructions and data still reside in memory, and dynamic RAM memory chips require power to hold their content.
So what kinda sync do you want to have?

The main one I would like to have updated is the weather. I do not see the point of being able to set the weather to automticly update every half an hour if the phone does not do it while in stand by mode. If I turn the phone on and update maually it works fine. Is there any way to sort this?
My phone will automatically update itself if the set amount of time as passed while it was in standby mode. Meaning, if I set it to autoupdate every hour and I've had my phone in standby mode for 2 hours, when I wake it up, it will automatically sync the weather and any other data that should have been syncing during it's standby phase. Does your phone not do this as well?
There is also an app called "Screen Off" which will ONLY turn off the screen and not put your phone in stand by mode which means that all data and such will continue to function while your screen is off.
Oh and I was waiting on a definitive repsonse to the "only weather" question I asked. Obviously, just your weather not updating properly and ALL your data not updating properly are two very different problems.
I did not read the first post carefully. So you mean - the system timers do not work properly - they don't wake up your phone from standby for weather update?
I have mine set to do the same, but fo example for again the weather, I have it set to update every 1 hours, when I leave the phone on overnight and check it in the morning it does not update untill I press the manual update button.
Say I had the phone updated at 11pm and put it on stand by, check the phone at 8am the last update time was 11pm. It will stay at 11pm and only when I press the update button does it then update. It is not an overly big thing but I am under the impression that If I set the phone to update every hour even if it is on stand by or not the latest it should be behind is 59 minutes!
