I've been searching all around the phone, but i was unable to find the app associated with Google Latitute
i'm not using it, so i'll rather uninstall it to free up some space, but i can't find to figure out which one is the actual file that needs to be uninstalled in Titatium Backup
I am 99% sure that that's just Google Maps. Maps has several icons in the app drawer that are shortcuts to different parts.
Sent from my GT-I9000M using XDA App
True. The icons are shortcuts for the different sections of google maps. Depending of the launcher, you can hide the icons like when using LauncherPro.
Pretty certain it's just an option of Google Maps too. Go in to maps, click little 'page like' icon in bottom left, which should bring up Latitude, now bottom left hard key and select Privacy - should be the option to 'Sign out of Latitude'.
I flashed the 4.4 image but I dont have the translucent navbar/notifbar on the google map/earth app but it work in other app like GELauncher
It also dont work on the lockscreen, I can't find a setting to enable it
Apparently the map app was a mockup :/
I am trying to open Sygic Navigation from S-Voice with a Galaxy S4. If possible?
I don't know how to make Sygic the default Navigation app since Navigation is now part of Maps and not in the apps list, or whether or not S-Voice will open a 3rd party Navigation app?
Any help would be appreciated.
I see the gps get activated at random times. There's no way to pinpoint the offending app. Is there an app for Android similar to the one in ios where it shows it on the bottom of the notification bar? Any app that would pinpoint the app using the gps is fine.
I'd like to show a map (split screen style) with my current location on the home page, but all of the launchers that let me do this are pretty terrible. I'm trying to build something myself w/ Nova.
Any ideas on how I can get a good map widget, ideally using Google Maps since my HU is rarely ever online. The Google Maps "Nearby Traffic" widget doesn't appear in my list.
