[Q] contacts from PC to phone - XPERIA X2 General

Hi guys!
I have a .wab file on my PC and I don't know how to put contacts from that .wab file in my SE X2 ... Can someone please help me?
Thanks in advance

the problem is, that windows mobile only syncs contacts with Outlook and with Windows Live.
What you know from Nokia PC and OVI suite, is not applied here. try to import the file into Outlook and than Sync. If not you'll need an app that reads wab! (i didn't manage to find anything useful, for syncing contacts, but there is a post on XDA)

I beleive "SysTools Wab Converter" might be useful...
I can only find demo version and it can only transfer 15 contacts, and I have 300+ contacts If someone accidently find out full version, please send me link in PM

Wab = Windows Address Book, in other words it's an outlook express adderssbook.
Just export your contacts into a csv-file, and import it to example gmail. Then hook up your phone against gmail, and you get your contacts this way to your phone.

How to export contacts ? What are you talking about? I have .wab file but not the mobile phone with those contacts. How to export .wab into .csv? I'm confused.

How to export contacts to import in other phone.

Is there a way to simple export all contacts to a universal format so that it can be easy imported into another phone.
I'm just interested in exporting names with phonenumbers, I'm not interested in any other information in the contacts, so just names+phonenumber.
I coudn't find any way to do this in windows mobile.
I guess I need a tool for this.
I'm not looking for a solution that needs outlook, but just a simple tool that exports my contacts so I can use it in another phone (non-windows mobile).
Can anyone give advice please...
thanks in advance....
hi,
I know you said you weren't looking for a solution that needs outlook, but I think that it's the easiest way to do what you are asking for... After synchronizing, follow these steps:
1. In Outlook, choose File Import and Export.
2. In Outlook, follow the instruction and export your contacts as either Tab Delimited windows or Tab Delimited MS-DOS type.
3. In Outlook, choose the fields in "contacts" you would like to export. (Just export the fields you need)
That will do it for you.
You can also try this.

Again, a 'solution' using outlook is not an option.
The tool you are referring tool does not support WM5, but thanks for mentioning anyway.
Typically microsoft to leave very important functionaly like this out of WM5 but instead you get MSN on the today page (wich I never use and even don't want to have)
This pisses me off....

Try this
Sync contact with Outlook Express from current device.
connect new device, now again Sync with new device.

First, you must transfer your contacts to outlook and then export your contacts to a csv file with using your outlook.
And open your gmail then import the csv file to your gmail account. And open your android ppc login your gmail account, syncronisation will start. 5minutes later you will see all of your contacts on the android ppc.
