3 minutes and it will be in dev thread. No real change from the previously available KF3 as it's the same build date and all. Only change seems to be the MultiCSC OXXKF1.

Samsungs policy on not informing users of what an update includes is "We want the user to be 'fascinated' with when they upgrade, all of a sudden there is something new.... The user finds all sort of new things and makes the upgrade process like a child with a new toy"...

What version did you come from?
I'm on KE2 an I do not have this "pink spot" problem ... can't wait to get it LOL
The most important for me is to get a proper pinch to zoom reflow in stock browser ... can you PLS check if this same or changed?

Because the firmware thread was moved from General to dev forum to avoid the crazy mess that was seen in the Galaxy S forum. Dev forum is not for custom ROMS only. Nothing stupid about it.
Dev forum should focus in Development
it's not the place for Samsung stock roms

the version is I9000ZSJH1. Some user said when they send their phone to Samsung Maintenance Department, they send the phone back with this rom, so it seems the latest one.
i have not test it yet.
update: it is a 2.1 rom, improved battery performance and speed
update2:flashed, and rooted. free RAM:166MB on first boot. no special Apps found
update3:Quadrant:895, not good.
update4:Quadrant:2186 after lagfix2.0, about 100 less than JG8, so JG8 seems to be the best rom so far.

Because Country code is the main discriminating factor which makes Kies working or answering "This device's version cannot be updated".
What's yours ? (I guess it has been kept, if you didn't use any tweak in kies...)

The modem was uploaded a couple of days ago, search for JPE on the speedmod thread. Been using it since it was posted.

This goes to prove that die-hard people who browse DEV will never look at the general section. And thus miss out on all the new Official ROM releases.
We require a guy to wrongly post a thread in DEV to know that an Official ROM has been released. Ironic.

Modem gives me poor gps lock. I'm getting a lock only after 40 seconds to a minute compared with the JPY modem which gives me a lock in less than 15 seconds.
Battery performance is still undetermined.

Modem works well here in Austria...can't say anything about battery else cause it's running only 10min now...but my data connection seems more stable and a bit better
