I went in to check out the evo 3d at sprint and I was actually very surprised on how snappy and fast it was. Overall it was a great device and honestly I was about to get it. Though simply put I can't see myself without my nexus s. I had both the phones side by side and I kept looking from sense 3.0 to my nexus running cyanogen with gb launcher and really there was no contest there. Some people like sense but for me, seeing them side by side really showed how much superior aosp really is. I also ran a speed test and both phones had the same signal strength, both phones got around 1.2 down, though the evo did have a higher ping. I also checked out the 3d camera as well and I really hated it, gave me a head ache looking at for like 6 seconds. I really did not like the protruding cameras and the gimmicky 3d. As for the build quality it was top notch, compared next to my nexus it felt like it was more expensive than my nexus and the metal accents were nice. But honestly that doesn't matter to me because my black berry storm gen. 1 felt expensive as well but was a POS. Feel and weight of the phone isn't much of a factor to me because IMO I feel more comfortable dropping my nexus on concrete because it is lighter but I bet both of the phones would not last through a high drop. As for the look of the phone it was somewhat attractive but not really. I really enjoy the blacked out nexus with no carrier branding on it and the curve screen makes it really stand out compared to all the other phones. The evo 3d just felt like a brick, I totally loved the sensation's design, i wish htc would have sent sprint the sensation instead. All in all the evo is a great device and I totally think its an awesome phone, but to me owning a nexus s is something else. The whole concept of a nexus phone is just very cool, and I do enjoy the fact that I am the only person at my work that owns a nexus. I see like 7 - 10 people owning evos alone and that is quite a lot since apple is such a phenomenon where I live. I think the deciding factor to me was that it really didnt feel that much faster than my nexus and that the whole bootloader situation is really still up in the air. For me, I doubt I could last with sense for even a day. On a side note I'm totally excited its friday, but MIUI comes out with a new update, giggy, giggy
That was a really long post lol, I really was really thinking about the pros and cons of each phone for past month and hopefully it helps someone out.
I completely agree with everything you said. I love my nexus and could never give it up.

I just walked out of the sprint store. Played with the 3D for about a half hour. Very nice phone. But definitely gonna have issues. Battery life will be awful. And the screen is just weird to me. Takes my eyes a few seconds to adjust on 3D videos. Ill keep my nexus.

The qhd display really did look nice, but it simply did not come close to the nexus's s-amoled with voodoo settings. Though some people do complain over the over saturation and the "un-natural" colors of the amoled displays but to each their own.
Looks real nice, its nexus for me from now on....plus I got my tablet for for the heavy duty android stuff

I got my nexus to escape this crazy specs race. Here the new sweetheart is galaxy s2, and despite that is a great device, i'm not feel fine in get it, really like my nexus and whole nexus idea and probably will change it only for the new one, when it arrives, and it's good to be satisfeid with a device for almost a year! =oP
I have the EVO 3D on a spare line to give it a try... I want to like it, cause I've had really good luck with HTC products.
BUT, there's no WOW factor. If the 3D doesn't mess with your head, it's a cool little niche... but that's it.
The camera can't hold a candle to the NS4G, and obviously the screen lacks the vibrant colors that we have in the NS4G.
The only thing that I give a slight nod to on it, is the crispness of the fonts... which makes me wonder if LCD Density changer can be used on the NS4G???
The EVO will be going back to Sprint, so I can have the line open for the SGS2 that is supposed to be coming in 3rd quarter.
As someone who switched from using CM 7 (AOSP) on the Evo 4G to the Evo 3D, I can agree with pretty much everything you've said, except the part about the 3D. I know it's a gimmick, but taking artsy 3D pictures and video is just so goddamn awesome. I guess I'll probably get over it pretty quickly.
As for the phone itself, what amazes me is that it seems to equal or surpass my former CM 7 Evo in speed and snappiness while using Sense. Don't get me wrong, Sense is really no good, but it makes me very excited for the future when we get AOSP ROMs on the Evo 3D.
So, of course, part of what really keeps me interested in the device is the promise of AOSP in the future. If I didn't have that hope to cling to, I would probably be a little depressed to be stuck with Sense. It really is quite an amazing device, otherwise.
I completely agree with the op. I used to have the evo..sold it and bought the epic..had that for a while and sold it and now I bought the ns4g for 275 cash..I just can't warrant using my update on the evo 3d for now..the nexus is superior in a lot of aspects IMO. I love the weight or lack thereof the nexus has..beautiful screen, still fast processor and aosp is now my favorite ..I will keep an eye on the 3d forums and see what happens but I may wait for the next nexus phone..assuming sprint gets it right when it comes out

1. Sprint was going to get release the N1 before canceling. They say they cancelled because it'd compete with the EVO 4G but by guess it was because it would have came out before they could enforce they're upcoming $10 high end data fee.
2. Sprint and Google announce Google Voice integration. Only carrier who's done that.
3. Sprint and Google announce Google Wallet partnershop. Again, only carrier who's so far done it.
4. And of course, the Nexus S 4G.
Sprint doesn't have a history that suggests that they'd get it first (N1 would have came out after, and the NS4G of course got it after) but they're relationship now seems to be superior to any other carier anywhere else in the world. Time will tell but I have a feeling that the Sprint N3 will drop on day one.

I actually ordered the Evo 3D, got it in on Friday. Used it, didn't like the screen, I liked the qHD but the SLCD cannot satisfy me like the AMOLED screen. Fact is when I use my phone I look at the screen and I need to be happy with screen quality over certain specs. I went ahead and returned the Evo 3D and got on Craigslist.. found someone selling the Nexus and offered them 200. They accepted, I picked a brand new still in packaging and the stickers still intact for $200. I owned an Epic but I think this phone is much better in quality over the Epic

So I'm debating trading in my mt4g for the nexus. I picked it up a couple weeks ago and i'm not 100% sure I'm sold on it.
I got one with a washed out screen. so thats a negative. also the battery life sucks. I found I dont do as much web surfing as I thought I might, so 4g is becoming a little more moot...
So I know the positives about the nexus. (screen, 2.3, fast updates and Dev support)
I'm wondering about the negatives. There has to be some. Right? hows battery life? does the phone feel cheap/ or creek?
Please let me know and be honest I would like to be sure if i'm to trade it in. Thank you.

if ur nitpicky, keep the mytouch.
I went to play w/ the MT4G for the first time about a week after I got my Nexus S and i must say that its looks like a piece of trash compared to my MT4G. Glad I waited for it. Just my Amoled screen is enough to make me look down on that mytouch. I love HTC but....
MT4G looks ugly, I mean very ugly imho. Nexus s is way better looking. If I can get flexibilty and awesomeness of android in a very nice looking phone, I'm in. MT4G is ugly especially that earpice.

I have nexus s and my wife has the mt4g. It's all on what u prefer. I had the nexus one and want to continue with nexus. The mt4g isn't bad though.
Believers b3ar fruit with their Nexus S.....
I have used both for a good week, both have pretty bad battery life, I web browse and listen to music, go on YouTube make phone calls and text all over 3g and with wifi, I think the Nexus S has better battery life, besides the wifi tether issue ( there is usually an error after you enable it, still worms but not very responsively). I am sold more on the Nexus just cause I love the cameras, both cameras are really nice. HTC boasts about 10 MP and 8 MP, but I would rather have a 5 MP Samsung camera than a 12 MP HTC camera. In the end, we all know HYC will abandon it for a good couple of months until the next update is announced, then they will give it Gingerbread( my assumption by the way). While the Nexus S is great, don't give up your device just to get it... not worth the trouble, especially since both devices will be outdated in a few weeks. Wait for a better device before going through the trouble. If you really want the latest Google Android OS, go for the Nexus, and stick with it until the next big Google device in the future.

The nexus is missing some of the more popular video coddecs and there are issues with the keyboard when you're typing fast, but awesome phone is awesome and I'd rather have it than mt4g.

Honestly, the Nexus S feels like a big rushed project. Lack of basics like SD, notification LED, and HSPA+ just make you scratch your head. Sure, it's a sexy device, and the curved glass and SAMOLED are almost enough to make you ignore these flaws, but it isn't worth it to me. In my opinion, the Nexus S is in the same "generation" as the MT4G, and both will be outdated shortly. I recommend keeping the cheaper of the two and just getting a new device when the next generation of Android devices arrives this spring.

I know I can't wait, have you held one before, how it the size in the hand in comparison with the evo..
The Evo is nice and all but it's just a little too big for my pocket
Yes I've played with one at bestbuy honestly its about the same size but the evos width is what makes it feel so bulky however the curve look and lengthier look make it extremely sexy . My gf even likes it. The screen and speed are absolutely fantastic
Man, now you got me going.. How can you turn down that $69.99 everything plan from Sprint..
Not to mention stock Gingerbread, beautiful
I switched from the Evo to the NS a couple months ago. The only thing I miss about the Evo is the kickstand.
Performance-wise...there's no contest. The NS just destroys the Evo in every way I can think to compare the two (gaming, everyday use, benchmarks). I mean it's not even close. Coming from the iPhone 3GS (before my Evo), this was always a major complaint about the Evo.
The lcd screen on the Evo is a bit crisper than the amoled in terms of pixel density - this really makes itself apparent on fonts - but the color and contrast ratio on the NS are so superior that it makes this a non-issue imho. I hate looking at my Evo's screen - so washed out and yucky.
Complaints about the NS are: no HDMI out and the sound output (even with voodoo) isn't up to par with the wife's iPhone 4. It's also a bit slippery, but ghost armor solves that issue pretty well. Also no HD video (as far as we know at this point).
@abn.geek: thanks for all the great info man.. I know like everyone else the dual core phones are starting to come out of the woodword, but I'm honestly not all that siked about them and doesn't really phase me.. I think because the majority of them are over 4" and that's just too big for me..
I'm excited to see the Nex in action and I feel like the raw gingerbread stylings with no crazy overlay will be a perfect place to start modding..
I left the evo bone stock so i'm excited to get a little experience under my belt

Yeah there are only a couple games I can think of at the moment where the 2-core phones would make a big difference. Not that I don't think those phones are cool, I just don't see a need right now. Maybe by the end of summer things will be different though, who knows .
good call, I'm just wondering if Sprint is going to spit anything else out.. I heard rumors of the Xoom and Atrix, I wonder if those are going to come to fruition..
Exactly my point for waiting on the dual cores I am excited but their really isn't much of a difference in performance yet, I'm sure the nexus 3 will come with quad or dual core. But I'm honestly satisfied with the speed of the hummingbird especially with stock gingerbread
right on, is there anything not to love.. I mean from what the evo lacks in screen clarity and performance i'm sure the Nexus blows it out of the water..
I can't wait to get my hands on one...

I did, and never regret it for a second. I liked the EVO, but after awhile it feels like a brick in your pocket, just too heavy and thick. Plus battery life blows, even with a great netarchy and Myn's ROM, still ****ty battery life.
The feather weight of the Nexus-S is great, and fits in your hand perfectly. And the battery life is excellent.
Wanted to start by saying, I love my Evo. Especially the last 5 months with figuring out how to put new roms. I was dead set on the Evo 3D, but that fact is, I don't care about 3D and downgrading the camera to 5meg from 8meg sucks. Plus, the possibility of a locked down boot loader, really has me thinking twice. What do you think?
Samsung has nice top of the line phones, but have little to no support after you buy. HTC is where its at, that's my 2cents
I want to add that just because the camera is going from 8mp to 5mp does not mean that it will be worse. I had an old Samsung Behold on T-Mobile with a 5mp camera which took much clearer, sharper and better pictures than my Evo. Now saying that, normally Samsung has better screens and camera's than HTC, but HTC makes better phones IMO and also has much better support when it comes to upgrades to the latest Android. Spec wise it looks like these phones will be very similar except the 3D part of the EVO 3D. Also, 3D can easily be turned off and will still have a beautiful screen in 2D mode. I personally would go with HTC over Samsung, but honestly that Galaxy S2 sounds like a sweet ass phone. This is all opinion and you are in an EVO forum so most everyone is going to be all HTC. You might also think about posting this thread in the Epic forum as well, but they will probably all be Samsung fanboys.
I was dead set on getting the EVO 3D until the annual upgrade got reduced to just $75. Now seeing the S2 and the Sensation, it's probably cheaper for me to jump ship for a new phone.
I may just end up keeping my Evo for awhile longer. I like having new tech toys to play with but the Evo is holding my interest way longer than I thought it would when I got the phone last summer.
I do agree with you about the support, but, don't be surprised if they start to change because of carrier pressure.

EVO 3D is going to be the way to go. Samsung never has good development for their Galaxy phones.

I admit, the GS2 had me tempted, but I keep reminding myself what solid phone the Evo is. I also owned the Touch Pro, and that was great phone for its time as well.
I too debated with this decision but I decided to go ahead and preorder an EVO 3D. I have some concerns that the GS2 on Sprint will have a HW keyboard, something I am not interested in, but everything else about the phone I think is great, in fact I think the GS2 would be a good candidate for the next Nexus phone. The Super AMOLED+ screen on the GS2 will offer superior battery life to the EVO and even with the lower resolution will probably look a little better...
I agree with the arguments about development, but I think that if the EVO 3D has an encrypted bootloader and the GS2 releases in a bar form with only a locked bootloader, then there may be a shift in development towards the GS2.
My plan is this: Get the EVO 3D, if the bootloader is encrypted then I will return it and wait for a GS2 announcement or get a nexus S.
I'm waiting for another phone.

The iPhone camera is better than the Evo and it's less megapixel. Tge shutter speed on the iphone us much faster than the Evo and it focuses faster. Hi all,
I'm currently using my EVO (with Cyanogenmod) but pondering an upgrade to the Nexus S 4G. Has anyone else made that leap and, if so, what are your thoughts and experiences? Thanks.
I havent looked back. Its super fast, easy to manipulate, love my SGX540, 4"screen size is where its at in my opinion. Also, the thing I really found amazing was the huge difference in the displays but 16m colors should be the minimum. Although I enjoyed my Evo when I had it...for about six months. Ill be sticking with the dev phones from now on. Unless they reach a ridiculous screen size.
I made the jump and pondered for a good month going back too.
Overall i'm glad I did and stuck with it. The NS4G feels really light in the hand coming from the evo which is refreshing. A lot of the weird bugs with parts of the OS stopping working after a few days usage I was finding in CM7 on the evo aren't present on the NS4G.
Battery life outdoes the evo for me, even with heavier usage on the NS4G.
My only two complaints:
* The speakerphone isn't very loud. There is a kernel out there to work on fixing this, but i'm holding out for the OTA to see if it helps
* The wifi signal is much weaker than the evo in my house. Hoping the OTA helps there too.
Yeah I used the EVO since last August than I got the NS4G right around launch day.
I don't think I could have a non-developer phone any more. You don't have to deal with any carrier garbage you get to make the phone how you want not how someone else wants it.
Also I rooted both phones as soon as I got them and rooting the NS is vary easy. I would say take the jump if you like pure Google and modding your phone.

I have had two nexus phones and each have had problems. I keep switching back to the Evo with good reason. Just sold my second Nexus on ebay. Love the size and weight of the nexus but that's about it. Radio and battery problems galore.
I have only had mine for about 4 days but will give you some comparisons since the evo is still fresh in my mind.
Size: NS is much easier to hold. especially when trying to hold in one handed in portrait. The weight and curves make it feel like it fits in your hand. I always had a problem with the weight and sharp angle of the back wearing into my pinky as that is the finger that would hold all the weight at the bottom in portrait.
Landscape is easier to hold as well... but still don't try to take pictures one handed.
Screen: Colors are much more saturated. I like this. screen is easier to read during the day and very few fingerprints. However whites are a little on the yellow side (warmer as i like my color palette cooler). In low light the screen is just the right brigtness. My wife does not get bothered as much when i leave it on auto brightness at night. That being said there are jagged edges on lines and borders and text if you read with it close. Most of the time you will not notice though. Blacks are AWESOME. Put a black background with white text
camera: Pictures are much better than the evo. options are highly limited though but work well enough for me. have not tried much with the video camera.
UI: I used cm7 with LP on my evo. I put LP on the NS as well. However after a day or so I took it off. I am running stock and have found no reason to root (except that i miss the notification bar widgets but the 4G one does not work yet anyway).....yet. I feel the stock android works and is kind of what CM was trying to achieve anyway + any bonuses they might have.
wifi and 4G: Both work about the same for me. I have seen the NS get further outside then the EVO on occasion so take that for what you will. But i have also seen drop outs on wifi on the NS for no reason.
Battery: battery seems to be better on the NS. I work nights so that throws off any calibration I can do. Will have a better answer next week.
Other: I traded in my evo and got the NS for 150... then got the 50 bucks back the next day for the price drop. so considering i paid 200 for my evo.. i think trading in was a good deal. (was gonna give it to my daughter but she needs to wait awhile)
feel free to ask if you have any other questions and remember yuo do have 30 days just in case something else comes out that may make you question your decision
After selling my second Nexus recently due to battery life and radio issues, I may be down for some of this:

EVO 4G to EVO 3D to NS4G here.
This is day one with the Nexus and other than the piss poor 4G speed and signal issues I love it (hopefully fixed soon)! I hate Sense.
I won't be able to say no to the SGS2 though. That's what I'm holding my upgrade for.

i dropped the evo because htc sense interferes with bluetooth performance in my new vechicle.
honestly, i only feel that the nexus has a better camera.
i miss sense so much. the widgets were a big deal to me. and beyond that, there were little software tweaks such as the smart dialer which i couldn't believe were not stock android. also, the nexus is abysmal with signal strength and 4g performance. it also just feels cheap and plastic-y.
i dont believe in modding since non of the roms are totally effective with all features working properly. i hope the nexus update will at least make the phone a bit more bearable. otherwise i will wait patiently for the sprint iphone.
I went from a rooted EVO to a NS4G last week after being disappointed with the 3d. Love it. It's a huge upgrade over the 4G. Hell, it's as fast or faster than the dual core 3d in a lot of instances. You won't be disappointed
Thanks
Thanks all around for everyone that gave feedback. The NS4G's price seems unbeatable right now and everyone's feedback makes me feel like I'd be happy with the upgrade.
I use CM7 for the close-to-stock feel, so having an actual clean, stock UI would make me happy. The main gripes people mentioned wouldn't be features I'd care enough to miss (kickstand, for instance).
Thanks again to all and keep the feedback coming.
I am looking at getting the Nexus-S and i have the EVO-3D, and not so happy with it, with the beastly spec's the 3VO is not near as fast and smooth as I expected.
My Wife has the N-S 4G, and I play with it all the time, I dare say it is faster/smoother than my EVO-3D. Plus the screen is beautiful, and 4" is the perfect size, plus it feels great in the hand, very lightweight and fits in pockets easily.
If coming from the EVO 4G, I highly recommend the Nexus-S 4G.

Wait a little longer for the next Nexus, don't get Galaxy S2, the Nexus-Prime, also made by Samsung with a brand new screen technology a HiDef AMOLED+. And will be the first phone on the market running Android 4.0. Plus higher memory and higher RAM than the Galaxy S2 .
Supposed to release by November.

launcher pro has sense-like widgets so you could use that
Gotta say I agree with most of what was said here. I went from an Evo to a NS4G to an Evo 3D, and I'm really at the point where I'm kicking myself now in some ways. The biggest reason I gave my wife the NS4G and took the Evo 3D on an upgrade was the signal issues. Two days later, the update was announced. I was really starting to kick myself at that point, and then it got delayed. I'm hoping the update comes out before my 30 days are up, so I can see the improvements first hand. If not, I'm gonna have to pick up a Photon 4G. I'm honestly not impressed with the Evo 3D. My wife's Nexus feels faster, to tell the truth. Not to mention, I LOVE the feel of the Nexus in my hand. 4.3 inch screen just feels too big. It's uncomfortable. If the Nexus' signal issue get sorted out, I'd say it's my favorite phone, period. But I just can't live with those kinds of signal problems. My wife can.
Same here sort of. Had an Evo 4G, was fine, great when i was running Cyanogenmod. Then i upgraded to an Evo 3D and its great and all, but i really really want aosp, and quicker updates.
so.... i bought a Nexus S 4g which should arrive tomorrow. Anxious to see how it is. I'll reply with my thoughts after i receive it. I have a feeling I'll be selling my evo 3d... we'll see.
Sorry if its a repost. So whos going to upgrade!

Im not biased to any phone. I like anything new and high powered. Cant get me wrong I love my Atrix but the Galaxy S II is tempting.
i'm pretty happy with my Atrix, i think i'm gonna hold off on upgrading until a decent quad core phone comes out on the market.
Not enough of an upgrade to think about it.
The Devs have really just started to take this phone to its capabilities so worth hanging in for a while longer.

When the SGSII came out back in... May(ish), it seems liked I should have not gotten an Atrix and waited for the SGSII to come to AT&T. the SGSII had a bigger screen, faster CPU, no Blur, no locked bootloader, and already had a pre-beta of Cyanogen out within two weeks of the phone hitting the international market.
Fast Foward to today. The Atrix has an unlocked bootloader, a *solid* beta of CM7, MIUI in the works, a bigger battery, and the performance is close to that of the SGS (in CM7 while OC'd) - in some tests it is noticeabley faster.
The SGSII also seems to have some hardware issues that have been reported. Yellowing of the screen on the left side is the most reported issue.
Now look to the future because the SGSII isn't going to come out for another two weeks. Should we have all waited to get an SGSII? No way, not IMHO. I was sitting on an iPhone 3GS for months and months after I was eligible for an upgrade, I was just waiting until something big came out or the phone died. I'll be honest, at first I did regret my Atrix purchase at times. Software versus 4.1.26 had a TON of bugs in it, 4.1.57 did too. 4.1.83 was solid, and when we got GB the phone was pretty solid. Now with CM7 I have no complaints over the phone at all, and I'm glad I didn't suffer with my iPhone 3GS for the last 7 months (I bougt the Atrix on release day) waiting for the SGSII after returning the Atrix to wait for the SGSII.
If I had waited this long for the SGSII with my iPhone 3GS, I would likely pass up the SGSII and wait for more info on the Nexus Prime.

One thing I don't miss going from my captivate to atrix is in the power usage menu "display" being like 95%. I don't know why they say SAMOLED use less power. I know the screen on the sgs and sgs2 is different but they're close enough IMO. Also after all the BS with GPS and poor update from Samsung I don't know if I could buy another. As far as specs....IMO I don't think it's worth the upgrade the specs are really similar. The only reason I might be tempted is for the dev support.

as someone who has had both i can assure you the atrix is a much more all-around solid piece of hardware.
like reported above the screen on the SGSii may be bigger but it has its issues (yellow left on most handsets and battery consumption).
the battery is simply way worse then atrix.
and what got to me the most about going back to the atrix was the sound quality, it was simply horrendous, especially for a high-end phone like that.
the sound chip on it is sub-par compared to the original SGS even, with high end headphones i was getting distortions, low volume, and very un-even sound, to anyone who wants to listen to music on his phone this one simply kills the deal.
atrix has a very very good audio experience compared.
same goes for call quality.
and the phone doesnt even have a led for notifications.
also doesnt have an hdmi-out without you buying some special cable adapter.
what does seem to be on its side is a huge dev base working on it and realeasing things daily but the atrix is starting to catch up... just give it some time.
either way upgrading from a atrix to a galaxy 2 is pretty stupid, except for a bit larger screen you really dont get anything in return for all that cash.
i'd wait atleast another year before ditching the atrix. theres simply nothing today that it cant handle so why buy another "future proof" phone when your current one is still "future proof"
Definitely sticking with my atrix <3

It appears to have a lot of dev support, but how many of those ROM's are the exact same thing with a different theme? That's the way the Captivate was until CM7 dropped...everything was the same.
I'll stick with the Atrix.

... the screen on the SGSII is so lustworthy... it oozes awesomeness. Other then that --- Atrix is better IMO.
i want both.
iphone5 too if its nice.
i just upgraded this july so no sgsII for me. the galaxy was going to be my upgrade, but it just took too long to come out. also, it's not gonna be the latest and greatest anymore like it would've been when it came out internationally, the sgsIII will probably be out internationally in 6 months since most phone lines get upgraded yearly.
my friend mentioned the PS Vita yesterday and i'm doing research on that to see if it has enough functions to become a phone for me.

I'd rather have an atrix with an average screen than have a SAMOLED that destroys my battery. I have an upgrade available and being 100% honest I'm waiting for a new BB QNX mobile phone to drop next year. The new 9810 with os7 was actually a pretty big step forward in speed and functionality and supposedly QNX will be able to run Android apps as well. Not saying it's gonna be the king of phones but it looks pretty cool.

My wife is getting it in October, about 2 weeks after it comes out. She is already in love with it and the fact that we are getting the NFC enabled version made her happier. She's almost as big a nerd as I am. (I'm not allowed to touch it, she wants to do everything on her own)

isn't the sgs2 screen still 800 x 480?
I have the infuse plus an atrix, while the screen on the infuse is so sexy,, the atrix for me has the total package,, the sgs2 for me is not that much of a upgrade from my atrix, even the infuse for that matter, sure it has godly specs, but in real world usage, even my old ass dinc still get the job done,,
I dont like where the smartphone market is heading.. things need to slow back down. alittle,, before you know it, the atrix 3 will be out 3 months after the atrix 2 at the end of the year, lol

yeah i forgot about that lower rez -- UGH -- why put it out at a lower rez then qHD? COME ON SAMMY.
The newer Super AMOLED Plus displays have more sub-pixels and they do not use pentile anymore which also helps eliminate the "grainy" look. I would still like to see qHD but I don't think there is going to be much to complain about on these screens.

I owned an Infuse and loved the screen and the colors, but I would rather have a higher resolution screen. I find the lower resolution something to complain about, although it isn't that big of a deal for some people.
