LOL, not quite. Of couse you can say whatever you like, its your opinion. But when each and every post is the same thing over and over about how you hate sprint, how every phone is better than the EVO, and how this carrier is better and blah blah blah blah blah, it kinda gets old dont ya think? Usually someone leaks test builds. On the EPIC forum they leak builds all the time. So if you dont know then, direct me to someone who does. Thanks.

If you're looking for different ROMs and OS builds that are available for the Nexus S 4g, there is an entire forum for that in this Nexus section....here's the link just in case... http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1171

The Nexus ain't a carrier OEM phone. Googles AOSP code for the NS4G is freely available and new releases for it are absolute new Android releases. If you find a test build you just found a new version of Android. At this point, possibly Ice Cream. Basically it ain't happening.

Rom in progress

I have a rom in progress, its gonna be a lot of different things and hopefully I can get it to work .
It will be gingerbread based, something that hasnt really come out yet. A non cm7/miui/vanilla experience.
I do have some questions though so if any better dev then myself can help me out that would be much appreciated.

I'm not a dev but.. i really hope i can see this come into fruition

Haven't you learned by now that it's really lame to post progress or "what I plan to do" threads? If jt or sbrissen did that it would he hacky and they have the work to fall back on
Do yourself a favor and work on whatever you want but keep it to yourself until you have something worthwhile to put out...cuz so far you are about 0 for the century on executing what you plan to do
And if its aosp based don't just rebuild jts vanilla rom with a new theme and call it something else

There was another guy in the charge forum who made a thread of how he was gonna make a spiffy new rom and gave release dates and he just crashed and burned badly.

Forget it I just fried my SD card working on this rom. I was planning on making a touchwhizzy aosp-gingerbread, but then it bites me in the a$# and fries my damn sdcard. Good thing I had a spare.

Just a big warning to you all: I tried it on Aura and it's causing half of my applications to force close, and most of the others to not run properly. It also broke ROM manager, so now I can't boot into CWM to restore my backup. Any ideas?

When its fully working point the guy out that I'll owe a beer to.

Go in to recovery by turning off phone. And powering it on while holding volume down, when you see fastboot keep pressing volume down til you see android recovery and select using volump up. Now your in cwm so restore from there

May not work with CM7. I think it's only been developed for/on a Blur ROM.
<edit> confirmed not working on CM7.
<edit 2> I also want to say I love how the OP started this thread when the dev himself admits it's not complete, and everyone is having major FC issues and whatnot when they flash it. Seems like someone just wanted to be in the "I posted it first" club!

I wanna part with the Nexus S, too. It's a pain using Chrome on Nexus S (I tried several ROMs already).
But I think I'll hold back till the end of the year. I hope Google's going to release another flag ship phone
