I have ported Umaro's CM7 kernel to unity sense 3.0, and was going to post it on the development thread, but thats not allowed since I have no posts.
The MSM7230 is an out of order superscalar chip so I've modified the build options to use tune a9 and neon. Quadrant from this rom is 1874, governor is defaulted to smartass on wake and interactive otherwise.
It has the updated videocore from codeaurora, and will update the omx bridge to the latest from cyanogen.
i have had no problems with it, and it works nicely.

I had a test run with it on Virtuous Unity 1.25 and it looks pretty smooth. I got a 1861 on Quadrant Standard. Correct me if I'm wrong, but out-of-the-box the kernel seems to scale the cpu speed from 368Mhz to 979Mhz, even though the OC daemon settings that come in the zip install tell it to go up 1.4Ghz.

Don't kill me, I couldn't find any useful threads for the Galaxy 3.
I love my Galaxy 3, but the 667mhz processor is lacking. I've rooted it and installed SetCPU, but it says that my default 667 is the max it can do. I hear there are kernels you can flash to unlock the CPU, but I can't find any, just fully fledged ROMs. Any help would be appreciated.

With this, the max CPU frequency will be 1.3 Ghz.

(specially when screen is off, and wifi is off : I switch off the wifi when tablet is sleeping)
with Voltage control and SetCpu it seem that I can't
is it a kernel limitation ?
I don't find other kernel easy to install, without changing the rom
any help would be great

Hey orobin. It's a limitation of the kernel right now. You can't overclock or underclock flexreaper right now. Currently there are no kernels available to do this unless you try Thor's ICS rom which can be found on tegraowners. No overclockable ICS roms on XDA though.

I installed the Unoficial Cyanogenmod 10 ROM (wich is VERY stable) and played a bit with Overclocking up to 1.6Hz
I've undervolted by 100mV from 1600MHz to 950MHz and by 250mV from 798MHz to 389MHz with AnTuTu CPU Master Free, checking each time with AnTuTu Brenchmark.

Hello everyone. Im new in android world and on this forum so im realy need some help. My L3 is using latest CM9 with Overclocked-no-battery-bug-by-irberserk Kernel with CPU on 1000mhz and smartassv2. I did benchmark on AnTuTu with my L3 and got 3648 score. I saw some Kernel on this site: Heatparadise and thread is (New Kernel Games Running Like Hell On LG OPTIMUS L3) and as you can see they got some realy cool performance 5240 score. I have tried this Kernel but with cpu on 1000 mhz because i now L3 is not stable over that and on benchmark test i got 3450 score. So my question is it realy possible to get near that score (5240) with L3 ? Which Kernel is the best to use and are there any GPU drivers i could use or any other thing i could do to get better performance ? What about swapping memory is it safe ? Sorry for my bad english.
The 5240 score is with AnTuTu v3, no way they'd get that score on v4. Ignore it. AnTuTu v4 is more accurate.

Hello everyone, coming from Galaxy Note 2, I've wondered if there's kernel that supports OC/UC/UV for both the CPU and GPU?
I've tried all of the custom kernel in the index, but only Evira support CPU OC/UC (but not GPU OC) and the performance wasn't very good. Is there any upcoming custom kernel that supports all of the above?

So have you found a good one or made the tweaks yourself? I'm looking exactly for that kernel and untill now ancient is the more stable and without bugs or overheating.
