im a 15 year old teen and want am EVO 3D asap but i dont got money...i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to make $200 in a couple day and no i cant get a job because no one can drive me andyou have to be at least 16 to work. any ideas would be great.
About me: i dont mind working hard a, im not good with coding but im good with computers and stuff.
P.S. i have already sold most of my stuff and have 400 and i cant try callingsprint to reset my contract because my parents dont want to.
P.S.S im imagining it will be about 600 dollars

They hire you for the day for an hourly amount and pay you straight out cash at the end of the work day. If you do a good job, they will look for you again the next day. If not they will tell you, pay you and send you on your way.

ive tried that in the past but only got like 55 dollars from 3 diff houses wenever i was done they were like o i didnt like it and only payed me half and the other ones like i dont have that much money so i gave her a discount and the last one payed me fine and i like the one that didnt pay me right i did probably a 70-80 dollar job and she gave me 15 dollars.i got all her weeds and put them in my dads truck so we could take it to the dump place in the green area and it took me about 3 hours.

...does there seem to be more / advanced development going on for the 3 year old touch vogue with ported android than we have for the hero with native android? i mean they already have a fully working 2.2 port as well. no offense towards our devs but this place has been a ghost town since the almighty evo dropped.

i asked a question, i wasn't dissing the devs. it just pisses me off that the hero is considered an ancient phone in less than a year and the vogue is 3 years old and has more development.
and before anybody asks...yes i left the evo after a week for 3 reasons.
1.) too slow of development.
2.) you have to disable everything to get half way decent battery life.
3.) the $10 extra is a joke when i have no 4g.

1.) the evo has been out for what a month or two and from what ive seen there have been huge break throughs
2.) alot of those issues are being worked on and will be fixed. we didnt have oc/uv until just recently. What makes u think everything is gonna be discovered over night
3.) 10 bucks is gay
$10 just isn't worth it.

Every carrier will have some extra charge for "4G". Every carrier is now at some sort of "cap" for their data as well. Everyone wants something new without the extra $10. So you want 4G in your area, but you don't want to help pay to develop it.... typical American thinking, everything must come free.

I am personally very proud of our developers and take offense to your statement.they have done great things for my hero and we must remember that they are doing it free of charge,I don't quite have the understanding that they do when it comes to development so without them I would be lost,thanks to everyone that supports our device

He complains about everything dude. He has never produced a mod/theme/rom/fix/ or anything for that matter other than threads asking for ports from other phones or threads complaining. Kinda reminds me of another user that hasn't posted in forever. Damageless and treve r the only two who have left. Even fresh and konikub have updated their Rome even though they r working on the evo also. BTW jschisurf=mod God. Not kissing ur ass bro just making a true statement

So can someone enlighten me on what hasn't been done yet???
I mean as far as I know, devs didn't have to rewrite drivers from scratch (With the exception of the touch drivers)
I just have a hard time figuring out what they are doing that we haven't already done...i am sure if you would say "Hey vogue guys have this - and it would be cool to have" someone would look at it...but no one here has the need to run Ubuntu or windows mobile ports so what are you complaining about???
I wouldn't mind running another Linux port when I'm through with my hero. It would be nice to be able to run backtrack but alas that is only a dream. Aside from that anything that I'd ever want or need has been so graciously provided for by the amazing devs and if it hasn't there is probably a guide or tut out there for how to do it on my own Cheers to the awesomeness that is xda!

lol Im very proud of the work that our devs have done..and thank them any chance i get..for without them what would we have? I may not like some of the extra stuff on some roms.. but at least they give a damn to put something out for those who do!!Its all bout choices..which in my eyes we have plenty for our hero.. like sense..well go try out one of many roms based off it.. like stock android..go get darchdroid...<----my fav by the way...
I just wanted to say Thank You Very much to all the Devs that made my hero as good as it could be but I've now moved on to the Optimus S which Kicks ass. I sure wish we had CM6 for that phone along with Deca's Kernels
I loved my CM6 Hero but once I used an OC'd Optimus S, I just couldnt not get one. $49 phone that scores 9.5 on Linpack, 1352 on Quadrant and 54.3 FPS on Neocore @ 806 mhz I mean this phone rocks! This thing kills Angry Birds lol. I have around 275mb of free ram and even clocked at 245/480 on Conservative its much faster than my Hero (no lag) with 2 days of usage.
I have better reception and Incredible battery life. I'm talking 2+ days on moderate usage. Probably around 3 days if you didnt use it much at all. This thing is incredible for the price.
Anyways Thanks again for all the hard work from Deca to Darch to Impaler we have a great team over here at XDA and I enjoyed every minute of it!

LoL. I was playing with one my friend bought and moded and was like holy crap this thing kills my Hero So I decided to get one and its awesome! Even startup is like 15 seconds as opposed to a minute on my hero. I'm thinking about getting the EVO shift later on but this will keep me going for a while.

I would rather still have my hero than to have an Iphone 4. Not only do all my friends say it drops calls like crazy but I hate how apple does things. Its nothing like android as far as hacking and customizing.

BestBuy has the Optimus S free this month on contract. I do believe that I will wait for the Desire Z (Evo Shift). That and why on earth would anyone come in here praising the iphone? My old and slow Hero is way better than any iphone I have used or seen, but that is my opinion and I will keep that where it belongs.
Well I am going to rant a bit. My stepsister (4g), her father (3gs), my mother (3gs) and my wife (3g) all have iphones. I will not use any apple product but, to say the least, know a bit about them. When any of them have an issue with their computer, iphone, or vcr, I am the one that has to fix it. It just pisses me off when a damn iphone user forces their opinion on everyone else. I understand you like your phone, but I truly believe that you are probably an idiot and/or a Jehovah's Witness/Mormon (not meant to offend but those religions seem to be the most pushy).

Ditto on the Within. I haven't truely made up my mind just yet (although I hate the screen, cams and battery life on the evo3d). I don't get my upgrade til September (epic release date) after calling Sprint about premier gold vs silver (thanks again guys!) and my plan is to wait about a month (if necessary) to see what Cyanogenmod prospects look like on both platforms. If the within has good progress at least being made, within for sure. But if it's a small dev community (don't get me wrong, ours is certainly quality over quantity ) again working on a very different us variant with issues, it may be enough to make me take the Evo3D. I love its resolution like you wouldn't believe, but I think the screen looks like crap because of the 3d surface on top of it. Plus qualcomm crappy battery life, 720p 5mp only cameras... should be interesting!

Mystery's ability to do what he did with froyo makes me wonder what we'll get from ACS regarding GB. This release was sick. It's the froyo we were all seeking. I think we're on track to see our phones rise as their reliability continue to cruise. I know people still joining older phones for cost reasons. We'll have another wave enter our community down the road. It's all cyclical. The Within crowd will be demanding before they learn patience. Be strong, grasshoppers.
That reminds me, in preparation for my trip to Amsterdam and Germany I was updating my old TP2 (for the sim card slot, last year I got 6.5-7mbps on vodafone germany, for ten euros for the month prepaid! Way faster than 3g sprint, kinda funny). They still have active development going on! Its awesome, I love the community! June 6th for the rom, then they've got a very nice froyo (and somewhat unstable gingerbread) in both nand flash or haret boot. Amazing. That and the wpa-supplicant ad-hoc hack for the epic and I'll be tethering my epic to the tp2, google voice and skype, ten euros prepaid internet and I'll be good to go! Did I mention I love the community?!

Yea i don't really have a choice now ... my mom spent the money i saved up for it ...
She said she'll pay for the Within.. so $200 and im guessing the Within will be more .. so im making interest
So I was talking to one of my best friends from way back and I let him know that I was getting away from carrying around my iPod and just using my EVO 4G for everything. He said he is not really into Android and prefers iOS. He then tells me that he's got not one but two EVO 4Gs that he is not using anymore and that he will send them to me. The next awesome part is that they are both rooted. Can't wait for some rooted EVO goodness.

How about I don't believe one word of this whole post. I say pics of tracking #'s and EVOs once you receive these "free" evos from your "friend". I call bs on this thread.
I will post pics of them when I get them. I wish he would have told me about this before I got my EVO though. Would have saved me $100 bucks as I just got it a few weeks ago.
Thinking of keeping one as my daily driver, one for backup/testing, and the stock one is probably going to go up for sale.

No i get my epic 4g touch monday and if i like what comes out next year,i'll just buy it full price.Unlike most people i have money to buy a new phone lol.

My Epic stays on line 1 until the Prime or whatever the next big thing is comes along. Line 2, I think at least, will most likely stay the ET4G for a while. It should be future-proof for a good year. I am still plenty happy with the Epic. If I wasn't actually saving money on my monthly bill, I would stay put with only the Epic for a while but 2 toys should be fun...

Not siding with him or defending his quote (was probably a bit much), but he does state a completely valid point. Not everyone here 'needs' to wait until Sprint allows them to buy a new phone.
I bought my Epic off contract because I couldn't stand that crapberry any longer.

Yeah, I got rid of my 3G USB Internet POS and am putting the ET4G on second line. My bill will be $40 a month cheaper so I can't resist...on my way to Sprint store now

Potentially. Whatever the circumstance he likely doesn't have any of the following:
Kids, house, car payment, student loans, utilities bills, a girl friend, a dog, a commute, a coke addiction, a hooker addiction, a high heel fetish, a hot rod, a boat, dirt bikes, or any number of other expensive items.
And if not, kudos to him (except the no girlfriend and dog thing).
