When people ask questions like this in wildfire forum they don't get smart ass answers pull ur finger out mate just wanted a bit of help. Must be too much to ask? Also it would of been alot quicker to link me than it was to type that post what's the deal?

But all the info you asked is really in this very forum on the first page, do a bit of searching.
Guys above me are right. Just use search button or look into stickies. Xrecovery you can find in this thread

No there isn't newer version
To be exact, there is a newer version of xrecovery, but it is not X8 compatible. So 0.1 mini is the newest version for X8.

Congratulations on your new phone. What are you developing?
I will nominate you for ignorant reward for wanting other people to do your searching and breaking basic posting rules, and then be smart about it

1st. This is Dev section and your thread should be in General.
2nd. There is already an AppsSd thread here.

[ROM] DownUnder 1.1

Hey guys,
tody i'm presenting you my first Rom: The DownUnder Rom
What is Working:
Nearly everything, just working on the Rom Manager
What is NOT working:
-Online Update
-Root Explorer
-Dolphin Browser
-Boot Animation
The Rom is based on Oxygen 2.3.7
The Rom has the Launcher Pro as Launcher (in later Versions maybe Go launcher)
Screenshots are Coming soon!
I'm searching for some Testers with a wildfire.!!
Download
v1.1:Click here
Reserved for futur use
This is in the wrong section for starters, and you don't exactly fill me with confidence about your skills, why is root explorer and dolphin browser etc even included if they don't work? And why don't they work because they should.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using xda premium
1. Wrong section
2. Why include apps that don't work
3. How did you even manage to "break" Dolphin Browser and Root Explorer?!
4. I hope this doesn't re-start the zip "development" again
5. Did I mention this was in the wrong section?
There is a little Problem with the Size of Dolphin browser and Root Explorer cant get root permissions. These are problems wich are going to be fixed in v1.2

No need to spam topics by saying that you're using ICS, seriously.
I know you're trying to get your post count to be able to post in the developer section, but at least try posting RELEVANT posts.

Lmao...... you just spammed all over this thread again.....
Who really cares what rom you're using, and fyi posting in a dead thread just to say you don't wanna change your rom is considered spam in my eyes and probably many others too.
And before you rant at me know that I also consider my own post here as spam and any other pointless post of which is no use to anybody.

Try z4root app it works fine any it is the easy way
Sent from my LG-GT540 using xda premium
z4root is easy and no danger for newbie
then for testing root, install superuser and try it to authorize access to root.
THANKS
IMO best option is flash 2.1 with fastboot then flash cwm and soft with root

Maybe you have to go to it through official gingerbread, like you need to if you go to aurora and such.
i'll try this. soon i will comment if this works or not.
EDIT: The rom have a boot loop. I can't boot this rom... :/
