Put your SD-MAGLDR android build into youre card, goto
MAGLDR menu > SERVICES > Boot Setting > AD SD Dir
Now browse & select folder path which already copied by you. Select "Android" folder. Some MIUI build uses "MIUI" folder but most SD build using "Android" folder.
Copied files should be
sdcard/ Android / initz
sdcard/ Android / img....
NOT
sd card/
/initz..
/..

Change the name of one of the Android folders to another name (like SenseDroid or MIUIdroid) and then in that build's startup.txt (inside that folder) you must add the line (or change it if the line already exists) rel_path=SenseDroid (or whatever you named the folder).

Change your Android folder to what ever you want and edit the startup.txt accordingly. You can have as many build as your heart desire.
Yeah I know. What I'm saying is....I used androzip to unzip to sdcard, which when writing to specified location OVERWRITES any existing folder named android with the one it is unzipping. I'm retarted for short

Use pocketrar and you can set the location it extracts to, chose something like Android2, Android3 etc then in startup.txt edit this line:
Code:
set cmdline "rel_path=Android2"
Set the rel_path to whatever folder its in, and there you go.

[Q] PLEASE HELP HOW TO INSTALL/UPDATE libhtc_ril_wrapper IN ANDRIOD BUILDS

Specific Details of how and where to install libhtc_ril_wrapper in andriod builds
Are u that lazy to search and read..and u posted in the wrong section..
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
connect phone to pc
open cmd prompt
change directory to the directory the file is stored on pc
type adb push libhtc_ril_wrapper.so /system/lib/libhtc_ril_wrapper.so
press enter
Go to the "root" directory of your android folder (where the startup.txt and 2 winmo executables are in). Create (if not already there) the following folders (root/system/lib) and put the file in the lib directory (ie "/sdcard/<Android directory>/root/system/lib) and reboot.

eh?
I thought it went in /system/lib/
why is this here...... it shouldnt be in development.
please read, search, and follow forum rules.
easy...
go to the root of your SD card and open the Android folder. Create (if not already) a series of folders starting with "root", then open that and create "system", then "lib", and then copy the lib_wrapper to that folder. MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP THE ORIGINAL. Boot into android and the new wrapper will automatically be copied to the android root. Enjoy

I put the date of the folder, put it into xrecovery backup folder but when I go to xrecovery and click restore it says mb5 mismatch.. here is how I put the date 2011-05-07
Sent from my X8 using XDA App
format sd card
or
use a difrent one
If the rom name is like floyoginger 1. X. X u just delete the 1. X. X and just leave it like example floyoginger
Metal is here
For example:
Check the creation date of the folder where your custom Rom is in.
Rename the directory with this date.
Sent from my E15i using XDA App
Redownload the file. Don't use the built-in download manager of browser, because file gets corrupted when internet link goes down. Use download manager like flashget, etc.
in first i have the same problema and i found that my microsd was with problemes.
so try to format sd or use a diferent one

[Q] How to switch ROM in NativeSD

Hi. How to change roms in NativeSD Multiboot? When I change rom it says I have to reboot, I reboot and I still see the first rom :/ Why? What should I do?
which version of native SD Multiboot do you have & how many naiveSD Roms installed?
when you press switch rom, choose the next ROM > reboot is on the upper left corner of ver 10
I have apk version 9.0, CLK 1.5.1.6 (from kokotas) and 2 roms installed (both NativeSD). I do have reboot option in menu, but it only reboots active rom...
All right, got it. Just had to flash sboot. I've thought I have to flash it once ever so it adds sboot, but I have to flash it with each rom...
EDIT
No, still the same, I had thought if it booted after install then it works, but switching doesn't work...
Anyone knows?
Are you sure you have your NativeSD set up correctly in the boot loader (I'm using MAGLDR, so I can't say how this is done for CLK)?
You should have the "AD SD Dir" (the directory that the boot loader will boot from) set to "NativeSD", and not some subdirectory in there.
Apologies if this is irrelevant for CLK; as said, I'm not very familiar with that bootloader.
I know what is wrong. But I don't know why. When I press switch rom, new rom's initrd.gz and zimage goes to NativeSD folder on SDCard. Then app tries to flash sboot, but it doesn't manage. I have to flash it manually, and it works then.
Connect your hd2 to pc .. navigate to native sd folder..
You should see rom folders and ..two files zimage init.gz (kind of something i dnt remember the exact name)
Now which ever rom you want to select.. navigate to the folder..copy the two files (init.gz and zimage) and replace it in the main native sd folder .. simple and reboot.. yhis is manual changing of native sd rom

[Q] How to change bootanimation with stock kernel?

So, I'm modifying a stock ROM of Galaxy Y and want to change the bootanimation but don't know how to do it because of QMG file in system/media. How can I change it?
This method will work? I mean do it in my computer.
4 - Okay, now having bootanimation.zip, copy to SD;
5 - Open Root Explorer and navigate to the directory "system / bin
6 - Look for the "samsungani" or "samsungloop", press and hold over the file, and select "MOVE";
7 - Browse to the folder "sdcard" and tap "PASTE"
8 - Back to the folder "system / bin" and browse to the "bootanimation"; - Navigate to the folder "sdcard" and tap "PASTE"
9 - Rename the file "bootanimation" to "samsungani" or "samsungloop" (depending on the file that you moved to SD in step 6)
10 - Now navigate to the "sdcard" and copy the bootanimation.zip;
11 - Navigate to the folder "system / media" and paste the bootanimation.zip here.
12 - rename the 2 files with extension. "MGQ" (removing the "g" at the end);

But I don't want people to flash some zip file after flash my ROM, I want the bootanimation come with the ROM.
Is it possible?
Select the one you want.
Check if it is compatible.
Rename it to boot animation.zip and place it sys/media/here.

But it will work? How about the files bootsamsung.qmg and bootsamsungloop.qmg?
I thinks you can to try with bootanimation manager release.apk . you can find it on google.
