Has anyone found a way to increase volume on the elocity a7 tablet .it is very low
and dexmod helped but it could be a little louder
my advice would be to not even try.
The speakers in the A7 are only 0.5W and can't handle any extra power.
I have read about a couple people blowing out their speakers just by trying to boost their volume with DSPManager.
Need more volume, get headphones.
Actually, I'd be pretty excited for suggestions about this as well! I plug in some usb powered speakers and listen while at work, but even at max volume it's not putting out very much.
I used to use an app called AirHorn LOUD that had a volume boost. I'd just check the box and it would make everything significantly louder. I'm not allowed to post url's yet, but if you do a search on appsfuze you'll find where it used to be, at least.
The thing is that I can't seem to find it to download anymore, and it's been taken off the market. Any other suggestions? Thanks!
Look into an app called Volume+ - I use it on my ASUS Transformer and I tried it on the A7 - seems to work great. Just be careful not to increase volume too high or you may blow the speakers!

Has anyone found a hack to increase the speaker volume when holding the JAM to your ear. My hearing is not good at all...remember when mom used to say "turn that music down, you'll go deaf" turns out the old girl was right.
The volume on the JAM seems even lower to me since doing the latest ROM update. There must be a registry setting to increase the volume. I've not seen anything that jumps out, but I'm willing to bet that there is a way.

I fully support your criticism about the poor audio level at max setting. There must be sufficient potential in increasing the audio level since there is the loudspeaker function available.
Now 2 people are waiting desperately for a solution by a honourable specialist which allows for an icrease of the basic volume setting.

Well, the speakerphone on this thing isn't actually isn't any louder than the regular earpiece!
did anyone find a solution to this one?? I hope it's not the old change the rom to 1.12? I'm happy so far with 1.06 apart from the low front speaker volume.

i'm using 1.12 and i struggle to hear ppl as well. i ran by this app earlier today on i forgot which site that says its the ultimate hack tool. i'll browse through my histor and see if i find it and figure out if it can increase the volume.
Unfortunately it's generally considered that it's not possible to activate speakerphone programmatically, which will mean that automatically switching to speakerphone isn't going to help too much.
I tried setting up a profile to turn the volume down to a reasonable level, and then activate speakerphone and use that as the earpiece. That way the screen doesn't get sweaty and you've got better sound straight to the ear. However, some people on the other end of the line say the recieved sound isn't so great. I don't see why it should be any worse. Play around with AGC in the settings panel. Anyone else care to report on this idea?

i found the app, its tweaks2k2net unfortunately nothing with earpiece volume... and about the using the speakerphone instead, i've had ppl complain that they cant hear my clearly as well.. is the mic also bad on this phone?
I am having issues with volume through the bluetooth audio. I am unable to find a mp3 player that has a preamp included in the equalizer. Is that not possible through android??? This is my first Android phone.
Is there a hack to boost volume?? Or is there a player that boosts volume??

I was thinking the same thing, the volume is very low when playing music. I've tried with both my Bose In-Ear and Klipsch S4 headphones; both were barely audible above a lawn mower.

I commited my volume hack to my github about a week ago, toast pulled it so now any kernel using ToastCFH's source will also have my audioboost code in it.
It in theory should boost the output volume of every interface on the device, but the only two that I've noticed to show a real increase are the phone headset (in call one) and the Bluetooth line out.
I don't know what kernels use it ATM but I know the FPS fix for Novatec panels implements it, just look around, most probably have it by this point since it seems like everyone is using toast's source.
Its not all BT that is quiet though. The Jawbone Icon is pretty quiet, as was the Blueant T1. BT audio through the LiquidAux is ok but not super loud. But the Moto H17txt is, well, louder than hell! Have to turn phone bt vol almost all the way down. 4 diff devices, 3 volume levels...
My concern is just with audio out through wired stereo headphones. I consider myself a self made audiofile and the dynamic quality of the audio output of the EVO is lacking IMO.
One way to go (audiophile quality, but pricey) is the Headroom total airhead. $99.
Runs on 4AA's and is 1/8" in and out.
You can find the older versions for less on e-bay.
I've got a headbanger amp, same basic thing as the Headroom.
Link also has some cheaper options like the boostaroo.
If you are DIY, there's instructions to be found to build the headbanger too.

Just an idea, google search "mp3 gain" this will normalize youre mp3s but you can also boost the volume by using a higher gain level when you normalize. This will clip the mp3 but i just kept a copy of the original file. I set mine to 110 percent then applied. Worked great.

Well I am on T-Mobile and use my phone for listening to personal music. I was obviously v disappointed when the media volume on my phone was on MAX and it sounded very quiet – like it was only on half volume.
Anyway, after some searching about I found an app called VOLUME BOOST. This is a widget you stick on your home screen, leave it ON and when you plug your headphones in it increases the sound by what sounds like around 40-50%. So it’s quite a considerable boost (if you excuse the pun).
I have tried other music apps with EQ but adjusting the gain although makes the music louder, it really distorts it, makes it incredibly flat and any bass just sounds awful!
So from this, the VOLUME BOOST app is not simply a GAIN BOOSTER. It really IS a volume booster. Therefore, what is it changing on the device to get the increased volume!?!?! Which is what the phone should HAVE anyway.
So does anyone know a permanent way to fix the volume so it is at it’s maximum capability like what VOLUME BOOST does?
The reason I want to find this out is so a) I don’t have ANOTHER widget to sap my battery + clog my home screen and b) the trial is only 7 days and although it’s a cheap app, I have an objection to paying for things that a £450 phone should already be able to capably do.

By the way, the VOLUME BOOSTER app is found on the market place for anyone interested who has low sound volume. THIS WILL FIX IT. I promise you.
Finally you have someone telling you a fix without telling you to download a new player and adjust the gain.

I've noticed that when I have my headphones plugged into my DHD I can never get it to go TOO loud if you know what I mean, I can get it to go loud but when it's at it's maximum volume it's totally bearable. I recently used an audio cable to plug my DHD into a nice sound system and when I cranked up the volume full blast on the phone and on the system it did not get loud enough, I've also tried plugging it into my car stereo and that too does not go loud enough, fault maybe ?
I have already checked the sound profiles and put everything up to full blast but no luck
It has bad "sound card" . DHD is known, that it has little bit lower volume as it should be in normal way... I am not sure, it can be software part or some cheap mechanism, which control max volume.

I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but the volume output from the 3.5mm headphone jack is much lower for me than any other phone I've owned. With the volume maxed out, I have to almost crank my car audio volume all the way up to hear songs, and in general, I need to have it at least twice as high as I did with my Galaxy S3 or Droid 4.
I've tried a few volume boosting apps in the Play Store, but none of them made a significant difference. I've also tried messing with every setting in the Audio Manager App, which can make it slightly louder, but also distorts the audio (crackling noises).
I've read that rooting and using a root-specific app of some kind may help the issue, but I don't believe rooting is an option for the ZE551KL yet.
Anyone know a solution that will work?

It is less noticeable with headphones, but I haven't used them for an extended period of time. I thought maybe it was my AUX cable, but its the same one I used with my older phones and had no issues.
