Thanks to Kalagas for his PNG Files used as starting point for my Theme
and The Jackal of AndroidWorld.it for his teachings!
hi my friend, and congrats on your effort.
I personally don't use Themes, as I want my Milestone as "stock" as it gets, but i really liked the Ubuntu Font. (ex Ubuntu user here.. )
Can I somehow just install the font? I haven't tried such a thing yet, so consider it a noob question.
Thank you for your time.

No, that's only for Milestone CM7 RC10!
You should extract png files with winrar from this themed apks and put these png into the apks of your device ROM!
To reside/modify the .9.png you need to decompile them!
Use APK manager, compression=0, heap size=512 or higher, decompile the themed apk, resize the .9.png files, use draw9patch to correct the offsets, recompile the apk, extract with winrar the .9.png from this recompiled apk and put them into the apk of your ROM!
I have wildfire rom CyanogenMod V7.1-RC1
from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1143125
i fixed all 9.png files Everything good
But when you modify the settings.apk or SystemUI.apk I get an error forc colse in CyanogenMod settings
I'm looking for draw9patch I did not find
sorry for my English because I am Arabic

Try to replace only simple png file and not the .9.png!
You can find draw9patch in C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\tools\
(you need JDK and SDK for x86, even if you have a S.O. x64)

Are you modifying the framework-res.apk of your ROM?
Or have you token it from my themed apks?
Have you resize the themed png files at the same size of your original png?
You have to verify manually the size of them!
Woah...
This theme is truly awesome, thanks for the work u put into it!!!

Very nice work mate...
And you are the first who used my icons with proper way...
I mean that you asked and mentioned my work, cause many users present their themes in several sections as their work without asking me...
Keep the beautiful work and in case you need a Green base, take a look here in my Desire HD Mixed Theme...

Thank you Kalagas! I always give a look at your great work!!!
And as I say you in PVT, I improved some png and if you want them, you can look at my current work for Nexus S >here<
It is an honor have you on my Thread! =D

This project started as just a modified version of Defrost rom and has now shifted to a flashable theme where YOU choose the base rom. Currently it supports Open Desire, Defrost and CyanogenMod. It is made this way with the aim of you having the most choice. It gives me opportunity to work more on updates to actual theme files. The themes should remain compatible with updates to the roms other than big updates.
I will work my hardest to keep the theme updated

You now choose the base rom. DF/CM/OD or now DEODEXED Sense roms.
Touchwiz launcher port.
Touchwiz wallpaper chooser.
Galaxy S Theme ported by myself with extra blue bits added.
Black/Dark sms app from CyanogenMod 6.
Blue Dialer/Contacts (From mythamps)
Modified music.apk (See screens of widgets)
Custom boot animation made for me. (Thanks Xevin!)
NOTES:
For colours to be set for date and time etc. During flashing a file called cmparts_ui.xml is written to sdcard. All you need to do is go to settings, CyanogenMod Settings (Or OD Settings), User Interface, Tweaks Extras and select import from xml. Then reboot.
Using the touchwiz launcher!
You will notice that in my screen i have 4 icons on the bottom bar. To do this you need to press applications icon then press menu button. Choose edit then you may drag whatever icons you want to display on your homescreen to the bottom bar. This is just how the touchwiz launcher works. You can also select edit and press icons to delete them.
If you have missing icons for your apps after restoring them please make sure you are using an ext partition on your sdcard. Touchwiz doesn't like Googles a2sd.
DOWNLOAD:
The zips ARE NOT SIGNED. Disable sig verification in recovery first or just use ClockworkMod.
OpenDesire Theme (4.0.10)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Reboot to recovery and flash theme zip.
Import colour settings from SD.
Done!
CREDIT:
I realise some stuff i used (Music Mod, Touchwiz) were made by or ported by other people. I forget their names but just want to make it clear i am not claiming any credit for them.

Script (batch) that adapts UOT Kitchen framework for MDJ FroYo HD builds for HTC HD2 (Leo).

Description
Do you want to replace toolbar and battery icons for your MDJ FroYo HD? Do you want to use a wizzard for generating this set of icons?
UOT Kitchen is quite good for generating packages for Android devices. But how about HTC HD2 ports?
UOT framework-res.apk is not compatible for [MDJ FroYo HD] builds. After applying the package HTC HD2 falls into infinite boot loop.
You can patch the package manually but here is the automated script
This script replaces some files in UOT framework-res.apk from the original build's framework-res.apk that makes the package installable.

Here you can see the result of framework-res.apk replacement.
You can find a working example of cooked framework atached to the post with the following UOT parameters: SCB with %, Version Z; black taskbar; tiny; number colors = picture colors; Emoticons B2; Black status G9; Notification power buttons P2; Custom status bar: Cyanogen BG, grey items (CCCCCC); Flying windows animation.
Usage
1. Dowload the script archive and extract it to some folder.
2. Download an archive of the original framework-res.apk from this post and extract it or extract from the appropriate ROM (how to make it) framework-res.apk file and place it to the same folder.
3. Cook a UOT archive and place it to the same folder.
4. Run rebuild.bat batch.
5. root/system/framework/framework-res.apk will be created.
6. Replace original framework-res.apk file on your HTC HD2 device. You can use 2 ways:
- In Windows place created folder to the /sdcard/Android folder on your HTC HD2 SD-card.
- In Android replace original /system/framework/framework-res.apk file using 4ex. RootExplorer or the same tool with just cooked file.
7. Enjoy you new toolbar and/or battery icons!
If something goes wrong, 4ex. you catch a boot loop or your desktop picture disappear just replace cooked framework-res.apk with original one... and please post here a bug

MDJ Revolution HD build animations
I copied and pasted the animations from the MDJ Revolution HD build into the UOT Kitchen's framework-res.apk (framework-res.apk/res/anim). Worked quite well. I like those animations a little bit better. They seem to be a combination of flying and folding. Also the framework-res.apk from the MDJ Revolution HD build seems to work fine with MDJ Froyo HD 4.6. At least it does for me.
This is just awesome!
Works great on Darkstone's SuperRAM. Now I have a perfect Android build on my HD2!
Thanks man!

Hi,
is only YOUR flashable zip compatible with cm7? or can you you use the flashable zips only with cm7 in general?
Can you make the themes i present in this thread compatible?
would be awesome.

Ported flashable *** for cm7r2 v5.1 are only the themed parts for cm7r2
And at the moment I have no time for other projects sorry :/
Schade -.-
MAybe if you have some time, you can do this with Tron Sense?
Can you upload the ICS theme (blue one) to mediafire or another site? I can never seem to download it from file factory as all the slots are always filled for some reason. (Even with proxy)
EDIT: For Runnymeded AIO I meant.
Ladies & gentlemen,
this is for everyone, who still prefers froyo, because it is stable, mostly bug-free (exception: scroll-bug) and has a long battery-life.
I tried a few GB-roms and CM9, but they all have issues, so I reverted back to froyo.
The sad thing is: if you once tried ICS, Froyo looks very frumpy compared to it.
Froyo has not a Theme-Chooser, so I decided to pretty up some parts of the base-rom by myself.
It will not be a one-to-one ICS copy, but rather something similar.
I started with this Froyo 2.2.2 rom as base: Light-v2 by kpbotbot

services.jar

lge-res.apk
(notification toggle buttons and their background, Carrier background and font color)

Browser.apk
Calendar.apk
CameraApp.apk
com.google.android.gm.apk [gmail]
Contacts.apk
DeskClock.apk
Mms.apk
PackageInstaller.apk
Phone.apk
Settings.apk
Here are the changes mostly done for the launcher icon and the menu icons. The important ones for the look of the dialer are the Phone.apk and the Contacts.apk.
By the way, I hate *.pro files.

Keyboard: IceCream Sandwich-ICS Keyboard
Clock Widget: Minimalistic Text

Some other status bar icons also appear not correct (new gmail, calendar event)
will this work on all froyo roms? like lets say p509 stock?

To be honest, I'm not sure if it will.
If you want to try, do a nandroid backup first.
I don't believe you, that is not froyo, no way!

Damn! You caught me.
Update 01.b
Some icons replaced to display correct in the status bar.
See the updated first post.
Even tho this is just a theme, and I am not a fan, and I admit I will never try this ROM (real ICS is much cooler), it is nice to know people still use 2-year old absolete ROMs

Hello. There are 2 possibilities.
You rename the *.png to *.pro. Then open the APK in an archive manager (7zip, WinZip) and drag the file in there to replace the old one. With this workaround it is possible, that you will get a certificate error. See logcat if the app force closes. But in the most cases it will work.
Decompile the APK with your favourite tool. Then replace the *.pro files with *.png files without renaming. Take care of the *.9.png files, because in the decompiled apk the "9" is not visible. You will see them if you open the apk in 7zip. In the end you have to recompile the APK.
Hopefully I could help.

Hi all, here's how to theme you framework-res to looks like an Xperia device.
Your devices must be running any rom with android 4.4.#
Maybe it will work on another android versions. If you would like test it change "values-19" to values-"your api level"".
You can check it for some devices here:
Xperia 2011 devices: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2724091
Galaxy W: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2761964
Moto G: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/themes-apps/xperia-framework-res-motog-4-4-4-t2841985
Xperia V: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-t-v/themes-apps/xperia-framework-res-cm11-cm-11-t2830401
Requirements:
APK Tool. I recommend you to use VTS
The Guide:
Get your framework-res.apk from /system/framework/ and decompile it.
Delete "drawable-mdpi", "drawable-hdpi", "drawable-xhdpi" and "drawable-xxhdpi" from /res.
Download my resources zip and extract it.
Copy all resources to /res folder and replace.
Recompile.
Make a flashable zip and flash it.
Wipe catch and dalvik catch and reboot.
Enjoy
If you're running CM11 with last theme engine flash THIS ZIP so you can get all Xperia themes.
If you done this or used any of my resources please add my name to you post.

Hi all, here's how to theme you framework-res to looks like an Xperia device.
Your devices must be running an AOSP Rom or based on AOSP Rom with android 4.4.x
It will fits great on CM11 too.
You can check it for some devices here:
Xperia 2011 devices: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2724091
Galaxy W: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2761964
Moto G: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/themes-apps/xperia-framework-res-motog-4-4-4-t2841985
Xperia V: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-t-v/themes-apps/xperia-framework-res-cm11-cm-11-t2830401
Requirements:
APK Tool. I recommend you to use VTS
Text editor like Notepad++
The easy way:
Write a post here with a link of the Rom you're using or only attach framework-res.apk from /system/framework/ and I'll make it for you
The other way:
Get your framework-res.apk from /system/framework/ and decompile it.
Make a copy of "res" folder anywhere you can remember so we can use it as a backup in next steps.
Delete "drawable-mdpi" and drawable-xhdpi" from /res if you have them.
Download my resources zip and extract it.
You can delete some useless drawables up to your device. It's optional and you can jump to next step:
mdpi devices: keep drawable-mdpi and drawable-hdpi and delete drawable-xhdpi and drawable-xxhdpi
hdpi devices: keep drawable-hdpi and delete drawable-mdpi, drawable-xhdpi and drawable-xxhdpi
xhdpi devices: keep drawable-xhdpi and drawable-xxhdpi and delete drawable-mdpi and drawable-hdpi
xxhdpi devices: keep drawable-xxhdpi and delete drawable-mdpi, drawable-hdpi and drawable-xhdpi
Copy the resources inside the extracted folder to /res on the framework which you've just decompiled.
Recompile your framework.
At most you'll get some errors. If recompiled successfully jump to step 17
The errors will be at most around public.xml talking about styles. If there's any other error tell me.
Read the error and it will say that an style in public.xml isn't available and it will give you the line number.
Open public.xml from /res/values/ and go to that line.
Copy the name of that style.
Go back to the old res folder that you've copied in step 2 and open styles.xml from /res/values/
Press Ctrl + F and past the name of that missing style.
Find it and copy it to the new styles.xml.
Recompile and every thing should be OK. If not tell me.
Make a flashable zip or use aroma file manager to copy it to your phone's /system/framework/
Wipe catch and dalvik catch and reboot.
If your device can't boot then you need to format /data (factory reset)
Having any other problems? tell me. Everything is great? Hit thanks and enjoy
If you done this or used any of my resources please add my name to you post.
