Is the shift actually silver or brown coloured?

Hi folks,
I've seen pictures of the HTC shift on the net and in some pictures the shift looks brown in others it looks silver.
My question is, is the UK version of the shift silver or brown? (I hope it's silver it looks more classy than brown!)

it is silver (not really silver... but a medium gray)... like the "clear" ones that you can see on the google search for images.
when it look like "brown" it is just because it is a dark picture, nothing else.

its really all about preference. Before the x1 came out, I had my mind set on getting it in black because I thought it was way better looking than the silver. Then I finally saw the silver in the store and didnt know what I was thinking when I wanted a black one. So i ended up getting silver

Black black black. Sexier than the silver.

I have to say the black one looks better although I have the sliver one... again, due to my network O2 only does Silver, no point of switching networks over colours, The keyboard is silver on both colours, so it does make more sense on the silver handset. I dunno, it;s a hard choice, mayeb I am lucky in a way that I didn't have a choice!!

I much prefer the silver version, the metal look is more visible with the silver colour and it blends in nicely with the keyboard bit

Edit your first post, press "go advanced", scroll down, look for "Additional Options"

[Q] Black mt4g screen outline

Tried to search the forums, but couldn't really find an answer to this, no online. I was wondering if the black mt4g has a silver outline like the white mt4g around the screen?
I am having some issues with my phone and am going for a trade in, and was thinking about getting the black one instead. Any help would be appreciated

Actually all the colors except white, have a titanium colored rim around the screen. The white is the only one with the silver. IMHO the darker titanium, blends better with the black screen.

Thanks gang. After looking ar some more reviews, I am actually really getting into the all black.

Your opinion my be humble, but some like contrast, not blending. The white one has very contrasting colors and materials. Reminds me of a white Harley. It's gorgeous.

Slate Grey VS Midnight Black VS Soft Gold - in-hand feel

Hi
Beside obvious color and RAM/storage differences, I'm trying to find out if there is a "feel" difference between slate grey, midnight black and light gold variants?
What I mean is:
- is one more "matte" or shiny than the others
- is one more slippery than the others
- is the finish layer more durable on any color
- etc.
I tried googleing for the answer, watching some youtube unboxing videos.... but couldn't find the answer.

Question White Vs Black?

Which colour Nothing do you think looks the best?

I love the black phone. White will grab more attention, if you're into that sorta thing.
Glyphs look a lot cooler on the black phone imho

White looks good but the black looks clean with more detailed insides on the back!

I wonder how a mixed colors would look, if someone disassemble 2 of them and mix and match
