I just wanna say to everyone that quotes an OP that goes on for over five or six lines that it takes up way to much real estate.... usually commenting without a quote implies that your talking to the OP'er or the person directly above your post..... there's enough to scroll through already with all the off topic convos even without the full OP in the thread 99999999 times from peoples replies.... please clean it up folks....

Dude, honestly. I can understand having to look through too many posts. But post length...that in no way affects thread page count.
So basically you're complaining about scroll bar length. Thats just lazy.

It IS a pain to have a huge post to scroll past in order to find a reply to another post, etc. And it is easy enough to cut out most of the post - this has the added advantage of clarifying which part of the post you are responding to. It makes sense, it's easy to do - why be a **** and refuse to do it out of spite?
And to jeff - the first time was funny. The second... not so much...

Just edit the OP, and have the user PM you, that way it stays private and allows the user to not have to come forward publicly. Honestly though, if the user does see this, there's no reason to be embarrassed... we were all unfamiliar with how to do this stuff at one point or another (Im still not great at it, but good enough to get by), and learning how to do so is nothing to be ashamed of.

Uhhh, I can't say. The Value Pack is Gingerbread based, even more so it's Gingerbread, it's not impossible, I don't think it is in any way shape or form and it's all things on the Rom side, not on the kernel side as far as I'm aware.

Thanks to all of you awesome developers and members who have helped make my Samsung Epic 4G a wonderful piece of equipment. Unfortunately (well kinda) I upgraded to the WHITE Epic Touch 4G today so I wont be around these parts as much although I still have my Epic and will keep it as a secondary phone if something happens to my SGSII. With my job switching me to the 3rd shift I am rarely online anymore. Nothin but work and sleep lol. And I have yet to post over there. I just watched the video on how to root and got to work. And with the greatness of ACS on my original Epic, that was the first Rom I went for.
But from the comments I've seen they seem like a friendly bunch. LOL
