Hi, i found the way how to play all gameloft games on archos 32, i think that its working on all archos without multitouch. You must have UrukDroid or Churlis root...
Copy this file "device.A70S.xml" twice from "/system/etc/permissions/" to SD and first file rename to "device.A32.xml" and second file to "device.A32SD.xml" and than copy this files to "/system/etc/permissions/" and replace. This will fool your system, now you have multitouch writetd in hardware features. Sorry for my bad English
I tried Hawx, Assassins Creed and Fast 5.

Can someone tell me how to uninstall the stock games on the HD2? You know... those games like Ferrari GT Evolution, and Prince of Persia HD or Millionaire 2010 or Guitar Hero 5 Mobile?

I have been trying to learn how to do this actually... I read that you have to first unlock the device. How do I go about unlocking it? And also, I heard that you can "brick" the phone if your not careful... so I definitely wanna know what I am doing before I do that.
it's right at the top of the rom section

Alright thanks for the info!
Removing Stock Games
If you're perfectly happy with your ROM then there shouldn't be a need to reflash. I would recommend using File Explorer, then going into \windows\start menu\games and deleting the games you don't want. Next, GH5, Ferrari, Prince of P files are all installed in the SD card. Check the program files folder in the storage card, or sometimes in the root of the SD card. I forgot which folders they're in, but some are under the "glu" folder, I know the millionaire game is in the capcom folder. just have a look see and you should be able to find it.
Windows mobile, is still windows, so the directory structures shouldn't be too hard to navigate.
Good luck!
So, i have few games .apk files along with their data files . So, where to put those data files, to avoid downloading..
For example, for real football 2011, ive put data files on root folder of sd card, and it is still downloading things when i run game..
Please help
Thanks in advance
********edit : for gameloft i found out : sdcard/gameloft/games/"name of the game"
but what about other games,,.?
Every developer chooses where he stores his own data files, there's no standard. Best is to just download it through your phone though.
I've been trying to copy over my game data for gun bros and dungeon defendets but I'm not having any luck. Gun bros just force closes at launch and dungeon defenders doesn't seem to import my character. Anyone successfully done this
do you have the same version of busybox that you had when you backed up?

Yes both xoom and phone have same version
I tried to backup and restore some games on the xoom. What i found was happening is it creates two folders, one named right and one named right with with a period in front. If you delete either, the program doesn't work. After you reboot, it no longer works either .
for Dungeon Defenders you can just copy over the files DunDefHeroes.dun and DunDefHeroes.bak and be good to go. Not sure about the other game.

Has anyone been able to restore their save data for games like Angry Birds, Zenonia, and MiniSquadron? I backed them up from my DX but they fail to restore. I have tried with both Titanium Backup and My Backup. I dont think these apps are too friendly with Honeycomb yet

What i did was unzip the gz file on my xoom, and just moved the data/data files one by one. Not easy, but it works.
Thanks that worked for me. Hopefully TI or MBP will resolve this in a future update.

I restored both AB and AB seasons. Do not think I did anything special (shrug)
The hiscore file was the only thing I needed to restore under /data/data/game folder/files/
There are three files there, a guid style file, highscores files, and a settings file. If I tried to use same guid file and settings files from my DX I got a FC on the games. If I just replaced the highscore file for both AB and ABS then all my game data was restored.
For the minisquadron games the data files were being saved on the sdcard instead of the internal memory so I was able to just copy my game data there.
For Zenonia 2 I used the online sync/restore
For Zenonia 1 manually copying the data files to the data/data dir worked fine.
I got everything synced now from my DX to my XOOM which makes me one happy panda.

For me they were in /sdcard/Android/data/com.trendy.ddapp/files/DunDef
They could also be in the same path but on your external_SD depending on device.
Hi all,
I am a greedy guy, I want all the games that come with the PLAY, even the game is crap..
hence I was wondering what is the best way to backup all the games like the sims, brucelee, crashbandicoot and madden nfl11. which i can always load it back when I feel to look at the intro.. or just because i can..
I know game from gameloft i can easily obtain the apk and make a backup using appssaver...
but how about brucelee or crashbandicoot? how can i remove yet have control to load it back without reset to factory.
in root explorer (if phone is rooted) go to system/apps all the apks are in there that you can copy and paste to a memcard! That will back the game up but im not sure about games saves
you mean bruce lee and the crashbandicoot is also in apk format?

they certainly are, so is tetris, star battalion etc! however, when restoring them you must copy them back to where you found them.

every application even system apps need an .apk, its not just an installer but the executable part of the application like an .exe in windows
After spending a while sorting this out thought might as well share it - only really of interest if you like old school NES Super Mario Bros & probably of no interest otherwise! Just need to work out how to add classic Mario sound effect on launch The original gif was stolen from cezkid.deviantart.com/ - more cool retro animations on there!
If you want the total retro SMB bootup then unzip & drop this mp3 into the /data/local/ folder - although you might want to rename (or make a backup of) the existing android_audio.mp3 file first in case you want to switch back! Also let me know if you have actually tried this and what you think?
How do I install? running virtuous unity 1.3.1 thanks in advance
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
I used Android Flasher (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=794638&highlight=android+flasher) which is pretty straightforward and self-explanatory. You can install the bootanimation.zip file manually by simply replacing the existing bootanimation.zip file [in /system/customize/resource/ and /data/local on my rom (supernova)] - but best to save a copy of the original bootanimation.zip file (simply rename it before copying the new one across) in case you want to change back.
Also here's a similar Mario wallpaper I made from different bits and pieces:
nice, thank you!
