Can anyone choose "Top Free Apps"? I can from a browser but there is no arrow to check in the actual market to get into "Top Free Apps"
Here is a screen show of what I am talking about.

Mine looks exactly the same as yours.
Same here. It's annoying when coming from GB. I like having the infinite scroll of top free and top paid apps/games.
The Honeycomb Market sucks bigtime. You can't even rate apps

Lol, yeah I noticed that too. What the hell, Google? Also, I couldn't get a refund for that SplashTop app. Having to do it via their site with a support ticket. That might have been just that app.

LOL I thought i was going crazy when looking for it. There are several features that dont seem right on this market place. They need to update the Market and bring back AllShare.
I've been working with Google for about 3 days trying to get this resolved. They had me clear cache and uninstall any market updates, which I did before I actually emailed them. The had me do a factory wipe too and that didn't fix it either. Maybe if enough people complain they will fix it. Good thing we can still browse the market through the web browser.
Not being able to rate apps is just about the dumbest thing I've seen.

Is there an application out there like this that is freeware? i would love to track the other phones from my phone, but more so so the others on my family plan do not know i am doing it (otherwise they turn off their phone..lol)
ttttttttttt
this would be awesome!
as intriguing an idea as this is, it would require upper level network capabilities that only your service provider can provide. this is also possible if your phones have gps.
Don't quote me, but i'm pretty sure that is the only way.
there has to be some evil genius on here that can do it.
still no evil genius figured this out yet lol... years later..!! =(

This app is able to track other phone's location silently from one's phone.

Saw this on CNET through Engadget. Looks very cool, they say it will come in Donut what do you all think?

its cool that there at least trying to renovate things...just my opinion...
I don't see much difference other then they moved the free/paid option to the main screen for filtering, changed some png files and the background color. I can wait.
It needs a facelift, but more than anything else it needs a viable search engine. The search function it has now is sloppy and painfully unreliable, it's a wonder how anything like that could come from Google.
I agree, the search really is horrible, I can type in the exact name of an app, but unless its included in the pname, no dice.

+1 its a b*tch trying to find a specific app in the market
1. Fix the search function. Its not just bad its terrible. Mind boggling considering whos behind it.
2. Needs a way to show screenshots. Even if its a stupid link. ItunesApp store is miles ahead just because of this alone. Alot of time saved if I could see what the app/game looks like.
That said I do like the above screenshots.

Sam is a pretty decent Market App, it has screenshots and a decent range of app's
Has anyone thought to download the drawing program from motolabs and check to see how well the X10s screen performs? They did a test on the Nexus, Droid, iPhone and others and it was published a few weeks ago. If those that have the phone could try this, I would be interested to see the results.
have you got a link or do you know what it is called on the market? just checked for digitizer and motolabs but couldnt find anything..

I don't think there is an app, they just used whatever note taking app was available for each OS as far as I understand it.

Thats the link to the test page. The drawing apps used are listed and SimplyDraw was used for the Nexus and iPhone. I would try that app and see what kind of results you get.
@awtryau89 cheers for the web address!
doing the test as they did, but with an app called Draw(er), this is what i got...

the screen seems to perform better when the lines went diagonally down from the right, than diagonally down from the left. also, the far left and right hand sides of the screen don't seem to pick up any input for the last few mms - the left side being the worst.
if anyone else cares to try and see if they get better results, please post it, as it would be nice to see this verified on another x10.
Anyone else have a similar occurrence in the last day or so?

Exactly, but where did this "explosive" button come from?
I did not knowingly install any free music apps with an old iTunes logo for an icon.
Did anyone else get this shortcut added without their knowledge?
It was most likely placed there by one or another crap app you've installed.

Sounds like you installed, maybe unknowingly, an app using "Air Installs".
You should get an "air push detect" app from the market, that should detect these things.

I've removed it now. Thank you!

Even so, I can't say I'm happy about Facebook forcing me to update with what ever permissions it chooses.
I can see me uninstalling it very soon...
My coworker had the same thing, only her download froze. Couldn't tell what was going on, so we killed about every app on the phone trying to get it to stop (plus rebooting, uninstalling FB, etc). Finally figured out it was actually doing it thru Downloads, not the Play Store.
That's the straw that broke the FB camel's back for me... uninstalled the app and went back to using the mobile website. I like it better anyways.
