its cool that there at least trying to renovate things...just my opinion...

I don't see much difference other then they moved the free/paid option to the main screen for filtering, changed some png files and the background color. I can wait.

It needs a facelift, but more than anything else it needs a viable search engine. The search function it has now is sloppy and painfully unreliable, it's a wonder how anything like that could come from Google.

I agree, the search really is horrible, I can type in the exact name of an app, but unless its included in the pname, no dice.

+1 its a b*tch trying to find a specific app in the market

1. Fix the search function. Its not just bad its terrible. Mind boggling considering whos behind it.
2. Needs a way to show screenshots. Even if its a stupid link. ItunesApp store is miles ahead just because of this alone. Alot of time saved if I could see what the app/game looks like.
That said I do like the above screenshots.

Sam is a pretty decent Market App, it has screenshots and a decent range of app's

Digitizer Drawing Test

Has anyone thought to download the drawing program from motolabs and check to see how well the X10s screen performs? They did a test on the Nexus, Droid, iPhone and others and it was published a few weeks ago. If those that have the phone could try this, I would be interested to see the results.
have you got a link or do you know what it is called on the market? just checked for digitizer and motolabs but couldnt find anything..

I don't think there is an app, they just used whatever note taking app was available for each OS as far as I understand it.
http://labs.moto.com/robot_touchscreen_analysis/
Thats the link to the test page. The drawing apps used are listed and SimplyDraw was used for the Nexus and iPhone. I would try that app and see what kind of results you get.
@awtryau89 cheers for the web address!
doing the test as they did, but with an app called Draw(er), this is what i got...

the screen seems to perform better when the lines went diagonally down from the right, than diagonally down from the left. also, the far left and right hand sides of the screen don't seem to pick up any input for the last few mms - the left side being the worst.
if anyone else cares to try and see if they get better results, please post it, as it would be nice to see this verified on another x10.

Minimalistic Text Screens...

Just wondering if everyone would like to share their setup of their using this app to give ideas and show the capabilities of it's awesomeness, thanks
this is a good idea. Why am i the first to reply? I think it would be awesome to have a place where everyone could share their mtpref files and post pictures showing what they look like. That way people could build upon what others have created. I think it would be a good way to get the creative juices flowing. OP, you should think about creating this thread in the android themeing section. General thread for a specific device? no wonder im the first to reply...

The only thing needed were the wallpapers: @KeithSwisher & @Romanbb
If you touch cookie monster's mouth, circle launcher loads 20+ apps.
And the App: Simple Text (get this if you like text icons).
Did not use the app mentioned in the OP... but I prefer this.
Minimalistic Text
I too, think this is an excellent idea and I'm really surprised there hasnt been more responses. Whats up community?
I just purchased a new Xoom 4G upgrade version and I am searching for setups to get some ideas from all you great peeps. If anybody knows of some good sites to check out that would be great...or of course start posting some Minimalistic screens here would be even better.

It's android. I remember seeing it on Androidcentral.com.
Not sure what it has to offer tho.. think it's a mid-range device. Casio too? Definitely different.
the compass app might be cool
Has a "swype" like keyboard XT9, aka Trace 9
Links are dead
These links go to Multiupload which is dead.
Can someone please find a link that works?
Thanks.

Hey guys. If anyone needs to create new android robot images for your apps or games, there is a fully poseable and animatable one available now quite cheap over at Daz3d.com:

Looks rather creepy to me.
And I don't understand how a low quality and distorted iPhone is relevant to Android.

+1, No offense, it does look a little creepy, but cheers for the info.
Regards
Thats probably the eyes. Poser users want to see that there are poseable eyes in the figure, even though the google droid just has blank balls where his eyes are.
Rest assured, you can have solid colored eyes as well, and provided was green, white and black, the most common solid eye colors we see. (You can see that in the logo image on top of the first image.)
The phone behind him is actually a generic mobile phone... the point of it in the image is to solidify the fact that its the android robot in viewers eyes.
And no offense taken at all. The point of adding so many options to him is so end users can make him sad, happy, creepy, whatever. That maximizes the use you can get from him.
Gotcha. Cheers, great stuff, I wish you luck.

Not much out there like this. It appears to be a mirrored and somewhat improved version of this (link loads a google image search with all sizes of the image - and, BTW, thanks for this - now I'm hungry for blueberries and yogurt, and have neither):
https://www.google.com/search?hl=en...ya8gw&tbm=isch&tbas=0&*&imgrc=HAQ8kRujJPweyM:
Wow thank you very much!
Exactly what I was looking for!
May I ask how did you find it?
Best regards!
I did a Google image search with highly focused search terms, and was lucky to notice one of these images fairly near the top of the results. I think my search term was something like this:
blueberry yogurt and granola parfait in a small glass on wood cutting board with spoon
Sometimes you just get lucky. These kinds of searches are often not that successful.
edit: I found the exact search term in my search history. On google's image search page, I used this term (not in quotes) and the image was less than 5 rows from the top:
blueberry granola parfait wallpaper
