[Q] OSF with JapJelly r9 - FM radio volume - Blade General

have recently flashed this 2.2 ROM - all works well except the two (included) stock FM apps give very low volume output (via headset). Is there a fix, or app from the market which will solve this problem?
TIA

There is Volume+, it might help.
Also, JJ is old. Try Swedish Spring which is newer so it may be louder in that ROM.

XDA II Mini speaker volume is too low

I just bought it in HK and quite happy, except the fact that the speaker (front) is very weak and i cant hear my friends (wife) during a call.
My ROM version is 1.03.00 WWE, Radio version 1.01.00
I heard there is a patch for this problem (that also takes care of a camera problem) . is it true ? where can i download this patch ?
Thanks in advance
hi you may want to check if you have adjusted the earpiece volume. when talking on the phone slide up the volume button and see if there is any improvement. to check for rom updates and patches. goto the O2 website.
It looks like you are using the original ROM that came on the I-Mate Jam. The new radio version is 1.05 and is much louder then the original radio.
Thanks.
Can you recommend where it is safe to download ROM ver 1.05 ?
radio 1.10 is more better because gprs problem is fixed.
what gprs problem? My gprs works fine?
Any way to make the speaker louder?
Yes, sell it and get a mobile phone. LOL.

Bluetooth connection problem since radio upgrade!

I have upgraded to the new O2 Rom 169 and all seemed ok, until I started to install my bluetooth head set.
Since I upgraded my radio ROM to 1.03 I have lost the connections to my headset.
Prior to the upgrade it worked perfectly, now the recieve functions just will not work.
I have down graded to the radio 1.00 ROM but the same thing is happening. So the upgrade seems to have corrupted something more important.
Can anyone help here?
Downgrade to previous ROM
I have now downgraded to the previous ROM 1.11.162WWE, and that seems to have solved the problem.
I have installed the Radio ROM update and that seems to work OK now, so I will stick to this for the moment, unless someone has any better ideas!
Hello,
I had the same problem. It seems, the old bluetooth software won't work with the new radio rom. I tried my bluetooth connection before restoring my old stuff from backup, and it's ok. I didn't have any serious things in my backup, so I reinstalled my software from install cd's - sorry, I had no time to figure out, wich software causes this issue, but hope this information will help you.
Z.
i also having problem with my bluetooth but I cant say the problem is from new radio ROM or others because i dont know the real cause. A message display and wrote
"Sorry! Bluetooth can no longer be used because the licence is expired"
"BDA ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff: Key:E3E534E19B3E8214C543A73C0A8B9A9074DD3B1753515CD8"
after that, bluetooth will off automatically.
I have found since the upgrade to the new radio, thanks PUG.
That my Handsfree and Headset Bluetooth issues have lessened.
A few little glitches but will be on the outlook for another patch or upgrade in the future
Hmm,
I have radio 1.00.00 version with t he original Asia ROM and something funny has happened:
Since the beginning, I successfully connected to Logitech and Hello II BlueT headsets + a generic car BT handsfree.
I had to perform a hard reset after one of my progs messed the registry and reinstall everything (less the troublesome prog <g>).
Since then, the BlueT handsfree does not work properly: I hear the ring but there is no volume control from the headset and I hear nothing + mike does not work. The rest of the BT conections work flawlessly, except for some rare disconnects from my BlueT RBT-2001 GPS.
The story in this thread is not encouraging but one thing is clear - the BT problems that I have are with the original radio and EROM and not after an upgrade. I have no clue what all this means except for the fact that tere is something quite problematic w/ the Xda IIi BT connectivity that I didn't have w/ any of my previous PDAs.
I thought to u/g the radio version only but decided to go for a full u/g (less the O2 stuff), hoping that my BT problems will go away.
Please correct me if I'm wrong - should I go ahead with the PUG O2-less upgrade or should I keep the old (but clearly buggy) versions?
Maybe all the problems that we have are connected to specific manufacturing HTC batches? Has anyone researched this? Is there any info correlating between problems and Xda IIi serial numbers?
Best regrads,
Al

HTC w100 RC Device and the Polaris ROM

Hello,
I am running a Polaris/Cruise based ROM created by Dutty on my TyTN II. (Don't flame! )
Unfortunately, my w100 HTC RC Remote does not seem to work at all on this particular rom. I do get music, coming from audio manager, but the buttons do not work. On his previous roms that are NOT based on the polaris build, the device works fine.
I was wondering if any of you cooks/developers/etc have any idea why this would be so. Dutty does not know either at the moment.
My only un-educated guess is that if the Polaris/Cruise comes with it's own headset, with FM radio, that that is what the device is expecting, so the generic headset drivers/files for the w100 are not on the device/rom. But I am probably way off.
I have tried updating the drivers, but each time it tells me they are up to date. [edit: drivers are for old devices anyways it seems)
So ifyou have any clue or guess as to what might be different between these two roms (tytn II rom and polaris rom) that would affect RC headsets, please let me know!
Thanks.
I've got the exact same problem here, but on another Rom, the one from M-Amine. Too bad this remote control does not work anymore.
you have to install audio manager 1.2 but unfortunately you wont be able to see id/3 tags on manila. on audio manager it will.

HP 6828 Crazy FM Radio problem!

I'm having a problem with the FM Radio on my 6828:
It will randomly take very long to tune to a preset station, and in some cases it will even tune into the wrong channel! eg: the radio software says 98.7, but it's actually 99.5!
Some telltale signs:
1. You tune into a station, but get sounds in another language...
2. You get very noisy reception, which is sometimes rectified by tuning to another channel, then tuning back again (I suspect it actually tuned inaccurately to the preset - eg: You pick 98.7, but it actually tuned into 98.8)
Anyone with the same problem?
hi
I suggest you reflash your original ROM .this shoul fix your problem.I had a problem with my fm radio and camera after reflashing the original ROM everything is perfect! to reflash your ROM look up my thread " camera and fm dead".

Audio Connection Problem with HTC P3600

If somebody can help me analyze the problem I have with my HTC P3600, It would be very helpfull.
Since 1 week I can not get the audio out from the phone internal speaker (ear speaker).
When I connect a simple USB Headset it is working OK (I get the audio), when I switch to the loud speaker it works OK. But as soon as I come back to normal mode (ear speaker) It does not work any more.
I reloaded Radio ROM and FAMAN ROM Version 4.2 but no change.
Any other suggestion ?
Thanks

I have the same problem. My Htc p3600 works correctly in alimentation way but in normal way no audio (ear and tone) is present. is it possible that a old battery can be the problem?
Resolved with new battery and WM6.1 Elegance edition
