is there a crt off animation available for the droid pro?
they have it for the X. you could try and deodex the pro and load the file from teh X... Might work.. Worst case you have to SBF and start over.

First I flashed the new JK6 and then I flashed Eugenes latest kernel over this and it seems to run just fine except for now I have the standard samsung galaxy boot annimation but also flashing android logo on top of it. Anyone know whats going on there and how to get it back to only showing the Samsung animation? Im sure this is an easy fix so hopefully someone knows what is causing it.
I think that most custom roms support boot animation.zip try to put one of those in there if your using one click lag fix try to push the restore boot animation button see if that helps
Still flashing , thanks to odin & tw
the kernel is looking at a bootanimation file (there is no extension) while the other samsung stuff is booting the normal bootanimation files. you'll need to delete the
bootsamsung.qmg
bootsamsungloop.qmg
from your /system/media/ folder to get the dueling boot animations to stop.

Ok this worked as far as not having 2 at once but is there a way to get the stock animation from the galaxy s? Right now I have the standard boring android logo. That means I would have to keep the bootsamsung.qmg right? If I could find android boot somewhere in the system maybe i could delete that instead? I thought it would be in system/media somewhere but its not.
Is there a bootanimation.zip of the stock galaxy s bootup? If not there should be.
since you flashed one of eugene's kernels, i think you've flashed the one that dosn't support .qmg booting, but only supports bootanimation.zip. so youre kinda sol.
I just noticed that some ROMs that have their own booting screen such as Tranquility and Liberty stay there even after i've flashed a new ROM.
How can I return to Motorola logo? I don't want to change it. I just want to have stock booting screen that has M logo on it. Thanks before
I can't speak for other ROMs but I know that Liberty 1.0 ROM has an option in the Liberty Toolbox to change what you want as a bootsceen/logo. Liberty 1.0 has the stock Motorolla M logo or the logo of your choice followed by a custom boot animation or the option to pick one.
Now, are you talking about the M Logo persay or the M Logo followed by the Droid boot animation and which do you want to change?

Just do a nandroid backup of your current ROM, install Liberty, change back to the Motorola (M) and restore your previous ROM.

I was talking about the M logo followed by the Droid animation. Too bad I already changed my ROM to the previous one but the LIBERTY stayed on my Droid. I guess I'm just too lazy to go back to it, change it from there, and go back to recent ROM

Boot logo changer and root tools will change boot logos, boot animations, fonts, etc on just about any rom.

Have you tried downloading Liberty Toolbox and changing the boot animations there? It does work with other roms in my experience.
Here is the stock M boot screen. Just flash in clockwork. http://db.tt/b2FlnAq
Hi there, I try some themes designed for CM6.1.2 (for example this or Gala S from there) and ever time I reboot, the boot animation is looping endlessly. The only way to fix it is to reflash ROM
I have the last CM6 ROM. Using OpenRecovery 3.3.
And also some themes (mods installed through Recovery menu [sdcard/openrecovery/updates]) during installation writes "Status 4" "Installation aborted"
Hesitating about going back to FroyoMod ...
Thanks for any answer.
You have a Motorola Milestone, but those Themes are for the Motorolo Droid. Even though they are very similar, Themes for Droid won't work on a Milestone and vice versa.
aha thanks for the answer
FroyoMod themes might work.
But I find theme-porter really handy for this kind of thing.
Thanks for Your tip, I will try it
So I was messing around with changing the boot animation on my Droid X, ( i wanted to try the Bionic animation), then I switched to one I made myself, but it was too small, so I removed it. I put back the stock Droid X animation, but now whenever I boot it just has the Stock Android boot anim (the word "Android" with the sheen). Anyone know how I can get back to using custom anims or even the stock DX?
NVM just SBFed back to stock.
Ok so i have a rooted droid 2 global and I had cm7 on it then i was going to flash back to hexen and my phone restarted and now it wont go past the motorla icon.. I can open boot loader and I hard reset it and its still doing the same thing. I need help fast :/
Sounds like you need to SBF. Its really not hard, though somewhat nerveracking.
