Is it possible to use the HTC calendar widget with ADW

Why can't the HTC widgets (calendar) be used with ADW? I'm not a huge fan of sense but I am a huge fan of the HTC calendar widget.
Does anyone know why the HTC calendar widget cant be used with ADW or is it possible to get the apk? I like the ADW launcher the most but would like to have the HTC widget does any one know if this is possible.
HTC widgets are tied to Sense, can't be done. Get LauncherPro he has sense-like widgets

Adw doesn't support it...and HTC doesn't want its widgets used with anything other than Sense....I would suggest using Launcher Pro Plus....they have widgets just like the Sense ones.....

Thanks for the info.
There is an app called smooth Calender in the market. It is pretty much identical to the HTC calendar. Widget. And it is customizable.

Everything "Sense" is tied into the sense framework and isn't usable in a rom that is not sense based. Widgets, apps, etc.
I like the jorte calendar over the sense one. Might give it a view.

Is there a flip-clock APK

or something I can push to get my current Sense ROM to have a flip clock (like the Desire HD)
If you are running a sense rom, just add the sense clock widget. If you're not running a sense rom you can d/l beautiful widget app in market which is a sense flip clock replication.

yes indeed, I am looking for the flip animations.
There are some "regular" sense ROMs with the animated flip clock, so I thought maybe there was something I could do to add it to a current ROM.

HTC Sense launcher

What's the HTC sense launcher which has a curved circular launcher? I see it in many screen shots posted here.
My Sense launcher is plain straight dock at the bottom.
Clueless on this one.

the HTC Gacier came with the expresso sense launcher. that i believe is just the regular one or another version of it out by htc. i had the cdma hero and that had the regular curved one.
That's for stock HTC Sense ROMs, the myTouch 4G has custom version of Sense 2.0 called mySense. Stock HTC Sense also includes the flat dock bar as well, but mySense favors the flat one and the flat one only.
Thanks guys. Are there any stock HTC sense ROMs to try out the other launcher?

Desire HD ROMs.
If you like the look of stock sense and want to use aosp Rome or even stock... try helauncher from the market. Its what I use from time to time.

But there was a curved one made (if I understand the original poster), it is in the market. Its called gingerbread launcher (try them all..it was first put out in december), and you need ADW launcher installed first. I love the effect of this too, but it is rather limited: if you want to configure the dockbar, you can only choose 2 apps (plus the app drawer)--or at least I couldn't figure out how to get any more.

Helauncher is curved. It looks exactly like stock sense.

Thanks All.
I tried HeLauncher, and it looks good.
Thanks again.

Flashing authentic roms

just updated the mrs phone to 2.2 froyo with sense, but am wondering whether it is possible to load froyo without sense without rooting??
Or will HTC not let you because sense is there baby
Nope, you cant disable Sense, but you can download a alternative launcher like the ADW Launcher in Market.

U will loose htc sense widgets whenever u use custom launchers. It is up to u to loose the htc widgets at the cost of using custom launchers for the performance boost.
But there are ways to have those widgets. For example launcher pro full version has almost same htc widgets.
And if u search the market or google for the widgets u need, u will mostly find all the things. So, try searching.
