MIUI Weather. Can be found in the Android Apps and Games section here.
They're split by state, so download accordingly. When setting location, at least this was how it was going before, you had to disable the GPS bit in the settings and manually add your location.

My Location feature doesn't update for me, it always has error. Do you have to go outside or something for it to connect? Everything else works fine, I can download data for cities if I specify them. If I click on the clock and then choose the home city to my hometown (Austin, TX) it then shows the weather in the little box under the clock, but it doesn't show it in the entire background.
try to turn on the wifi first, I think it's a bug
u have to set up the wather wallpaper to show it on fullscreen, its easy to find in the menu
As stated above with some of the newer builds you need to have wifi activated and then either download weather update through 3G or wifi and it should work.
Just started working with the Android SDK so forgive me for my ignorance (I did unsuccessfully Google before posting, however).
I'm trying to make my first test widget that toggles the screen time out
settings. Is there a way for the widget to be notified when
Settings.System.SCREEN_OFF_TIMEOUT has been changed? I would like to
know this so I can update the widget graphic accordingly -- when they update the setting via toggling the widget, or if they go in to the Settings menu and change it there.
Hi all.
I have an issue displaying my current location using various widgets. Most notably, I want to utilize the Amber Weather widget. After turning on location settings and setting up the widget, I get a general location as "California, California". See screenshot attached.
I have also tested my location with Beautiful Widgets and get the same general location. I would like it to locate exactly what city/district I am in.
Any ideas? Thanks!
No ideas?
I just had my Axon 7 and its weather widget looks good at first, but I am having an issue with it. It always set the default city is "location", even I add a new city and move it to the top of the list of cities. I can't find anywhere in the menu that it let me change the default city/location. So far, in the home screen I can't see any weather info, since I turn off GPS on this phone. And I have to open the widget and swipe once to see my city because it always on the second screen. Any idea? Thank you.
Oh, I am on 7.1.1 b25 stock.
I have a boost mobile ZTE Max XL with the same issue. Is it possible to: 1. Change the widget so "location" is not default and 2. Update the weather without turning on GPS ?
As discussed here https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-8-pro/help/push-notifications-to-apps-delayed-t4088925 I've issues with background apps. I've no problem with notifications but with location.
I used to use the RunKeeper widget to start it but with the 8 pro this no longer works. When I open RunKeeper it takes a while to get location and then I can start it. I suspect that the missing background location information is the cause of the unresponsive widget. I've disabled all optimizations for RunKeeper I was able to find without success.
Any suggestion how to fix this?
