Anyone else see very laggy portrait mode?
Mine has its lag every now and then but portrait mode is a different story
Even after reboot with no apps running it still has problems maybe this could be a honeycomb issue?
Let me know if anyone else is noticing this, no I'm not picking on acer.
Known issue

This is a known issue and should be resolved in the 3.1 update. It is not Iconia Tab specific from what I have read elsewhere.

Hi all,
I have noticed some strange graphics on the top part of my homescreen when on portrait mode. It seems random and a restart is required to fix it.
I have uploaded some screenshots to my dropbox: http://db.tt/X9HSzTw9
There is no flickering it's just static and I never encountered this issue on HC. Anybody else noticed this behavior? I wonder if it is ICS or hardware related.
Thanks for all your help
Try another launcher and see if it goes away. I remember having something similar (although not as severe) on the stock launcher.
My favorite is Nova Launcher, which is basically the same as stock but with more options, and a hell a lot faster
Also, enabling "Force 2D GPU Rendering" in the settings/development can, sometimes, cause those kinds of artifacts. So if you got that turned on, try turning it off.
Im finding it hard to believe its a HW issue and lean more towards "ICS Issue"... ICS isnt exactly what I'd call bugfree
I experienced the same thing with Youtube App (Even the reboot won't help)
ICS is a big failure so far
I had the same issue at first, factory reset got it stable. Try not to restore apps, I see this advice all over the forums in this case, just reinstall them from the market again.
Good luck
After upgraded to 4.2, there are many occasions where my Nexus 7 suddenly change from portrait to landscape mode, even when it is lying on a FLAT surface.
It still happens after I factory reset it and upgraded to 4.2.
Anyone else have this problem?
Yes, I'm trying to figure out what the culprit is. It gets really annoying when watching videos and it'll rotate to landscape for a second and then back, causing the video to start over.

It is indeed very strange, but looks like not much people is affected. Defect tablet?
Possibly, but it never happened on 4.1. Only since this update.

Happens to me too. Not too many people complain so maybe it is some 3rd party app that is to blame?
An oversensitive sensor? don't lie it perfectly flat.
I an now on 4.2.2 (stock rooted) and sometimes after taking photos with flash, the phone randomly reboots. I think it used to happen earlier also before updating to 4.2.2, but experienced this 2-3 times yesterday within 3 hours in a party where i was taking quite a few pics. I tried factory resetting the phone but the problem is still there.
Anybody else facing this issue? Any solutions yet?
Bumping it up
Nobody facing this issue? Do I have a defective device?

[Q] Split second Flicker in certain Apps
I noticed my N4's screen does a split second flicker when using POF (dont judge lol) and youtube. In youtube sometimes when i go from landscape mode to regular i can see the screen flicker, kind of like a the backlight goes out slightly and goes back on.
I dont notice the flicker in other apps except maybe the google reader beta.
Anyone else noticed what im talking about ?
Hi

It is a known issue and mentioned in LGs service notes with newer batches having a hardware modification to fix it. If affected all you can do is RMA it.

Phil
In camera mode when i switch to picture gallery note lags big time and vice versa switching back to live camera option it takes forever.Does anyone have a tip on how to make it fast while switching back on forth thank you in advance.
Same here. For me, it's less like lag, and more like temporary freezing. I really hope that they fix this with an update. It's the only real lag that I've seen on the phone so far.

I guess you can call it a freeze.....me to i hope they fix this issue.
Not always but a high percentage of the time if I'm using slow motion 240fps recording it ends at some point with the camera crashing and nothing can fix it other than a restart of the phone.
Is anyone else experienced this?
I can rma but I don't think it's a hardware issue.
Never had a problem the few times I've used 240. All stock software here
Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
I'm in the same boat! hoping to find others who have this problem and get clear on whether it's a hardware or software issue. Mine first crashed when i tried loading 240fps slow-mo. restart was the only thing to get it going again. disabled google camera (which reverts to initial version), app updated back to latest, seemed to be fine when i went to 240fps mode, thought it was all resolved. then it came back again AFTER i recorded a slow-mo test at 240fps. When it's working (after restart) it works GREAT! but when this glitch occurs, can't do anything else with camera until I restart. I've attached screenshots of what it looks like when i try to take a pic after a crash.
I guess this is my window of opportunity to factory reset so I can unlock bootloader and root but would like to find a simpler solution if possible... anyone else out there with a similar issue?
tried uninstalling twilight and that seems to have stabilized things... fingers crossed
Same here if I zoom 100%. I called Google support and I have to RMA my 6P. :/
Here is the fix...Just upgrade your nexus 6p to Android N Beta through android beta program.
After updating to newest android version, my issue is gone.
Try this...it worked for me.

Are you completely stock? What camera app are you using? If Google Camera, what version? There is a known issue in version 3.2. If you're using 3.2, try rolling back to 3.1*** and see if that fixes the issue. If so, it's not a hardware issue.
