In camera mode when i switch to picture gallery note lags big time and vice versa switching back to live camera option it takes forever.Does anyone have a tip on how to make it fast while switching back on forth thank you in advance.
Same here. For me, it's less like lag, and more like temporary freezing. I really hope that they fix this with an update. It's the only real lag that I've seen on the phone so far.

If it is, be warned that this patch fixes the freeze problem, but it adds an even bigger bug (phone calls gets blank for a few seconds sometimes).
No, it's no freeze issue. Actually i think it's a problem that exists with every HD device.. If you compare teeter with iphones labyrinth game you will se that HD's screen is more choppy and laggy.

Its quite hard to notice the lag but just compare the iphone against it and ull see. I think many would like a fix for this if there were any available

Wow...now that you mention this, i have this problem since i've installed this fix a few days ago.
It takes some time until i'm getting the call.
Okay so noone else but me is interested in a fix for this? I thought many would like the fix to happen
i am interested.. my screen stutters / tears at times too.. for example scrolling fast thru my icons in Program.
overall phone not very responsive.. kinda like a low mem windows xp pc kind of feel..
After upgraded to 4.2, there are many occasions where my Nexus 7 suddenly change from portrait to landscape mode, even when it is lying on a FLAT surface.
It still happens after I factory reset it and upgraded to 4.2.
Anyone else have this problem?
Yes, I'm trying to figure out what the culprit is. It gets really annoying when watching videos and it'll rotate to landscape for a second and then back, causing the video to start over.

Happens to me too. Not too many people complain so maybe it is some 3rd party app that is to blame?
An oversensitive sensor? don't lie it perfectly flat.
Is anyone having lag when you unlock your phone and go to the homescreen and if you go in-between home screens there is stuttering for 2-3 seconds and it'll run smooth.
Anyone find a fix or do I have a defective device?

att gs4 is known for alot of lag because of all the bloat. if you root your phone and debloat your phone this issue goes away.
what device, what rom, what anything? Need more info, it is not defective...
Can you record the stutter and upload to youtube so I may see this?
Be careful on debloating - try FREEZE instead.

hey, my autofocus started to act lately and ive got no idea what might be the problem.
after waking phone phone and running camera app (tried with other than stock, might have been slight improvement, but it could be mental aswell) phone cant get to focus on anything further than up to half meter far. after awhile (sometimes even more than 10 seconds) of struggle it snaps into focus and from that point it works flawlessly and extremely fast even going from macro to distance.
Its very annoying especially in situations when i need to have camera ready to shoot photo/video as soon as take my phone out of my pocket.
ive already reverted my phone to latest stock nougat without improvement.
It works the same way despite app used so i dont think its app issue and once it gets the focus it works flawlessly so it doesnt look like a raw hardware problem. Maby theres a setting somewhere in the system responsible for camera behavior?
Any1 who had similar issue and found a solution?

My phone take 3 hours to charge fully from 10%. Seems to be same as previous version. Try restarting the phone before putting it for charging, it may help.

A) For me, changing wallpapers works like a charm. I haven't tried live wallpapers.

A) This is the norm for a lot of apps. One prominent example is Open Camera.
Q) scrolling sometimes quite weird
A) No problem here.
Q) multitouch bugs
A) I have this issue. When playing games like Batman (tell tale), PUBG, etc. the touch does not respond correctly.

A) No issues here.

A) If you're talking about the switch off menu, I can't confirm this. I have never had the reboot to recovery option.
Q) charging quite little slow..
A) Seems okay to me. 2.5-3 hours from 5-100% battery.
Another bug that I have encountered is that some apps do not work on WiFi connection. The ones I can confirm are Twitter, PhonePe and Amazon Music. They work just fine on mobile data.

I have this issue too and I think this is considered a serious problem that Asus need to fix ASAP. A phone with multi-touch issue is really unusable especially when playing games which this phone is catered for. Is there an official Asus site that we file our complain?

google is the one that should fix it not asus
as every phoje that runs android 8.1 with security patch before june has that bug too
even a flagship phone has it
