Hi friends.
i've installed mobidiv.but it doesn't show arabic words correctly.
are there any software for this problem?
Thanks
I'm facing the same issue. I've installed Mobidiv 431 and it works for viewing arabic on the device, but not so much in HTC Sense interface.
Also, I have not found a way to type in Arabic.

[Q] HTC Desire Z and Arabic support

Guys I'd like to ask if there any Arabic support for the Desire Z ?
And could I use the Arabizer for Desire (Without Z) to the Desire Z ?
And is that mandatory to root the Froyo 2.2 to Arabize it ? and if yes how can I do it ? I'm sooo new to Android and I really need help
NB: I'm looking for the Arabic support only not to Arabize the menu and the programs names... thank you guys
I once read that it's possible to download any locale from Marketplace, but I don't know any more details.

any recommendation for a reliable lite arabizer? program name or program to avoid?
would be appreciated....
Hello guys,
I have the desire z with arabic fonts but everything in arabic shows wrong (disconnected letters) very annoing and hard to read. I found some soft keyboards on market but nothing mentioning arabic fix for reading. Anyone know how to fix this for froyo? Great phone but need to fix this arabic reading issue.
Any help will be appreciated.
I tried anysoftkeyboard i think it's called, but all it does is give you the option of an onscreen keyboard with the built in font. It doesn't connect the letters, i don't want to type arabic, i just want to be able to read it properly on my phone without having to root or alter the OS. the phone is great very fast, apart from this issue i love it.
Will this be fix in the next android version? do you guys think we'll be getting the update as well from HTC?
I am patientely waiting for Android's software Engineeres to connect the Arabic letters...
Other than that I love my Desire Z over my SGS.
Cheers
for sms -only- download Mirsal from market
yep, Mirsal does the trick for sms.
problem persists for emails and browsing etc.
there are no arabisers like in winmo.
I tested the new Desire HD being sold in the middle east and it comes preloaded with full arabic support froyo 2.2! Same with the Galaxy Tab. The interface can be english with full support of arabic text in sms, email and browser.
Now my questions, am i stuck with no official arabic support as my unit came from EU? is there a way to flash an arabic rom when available without losing the ability to receive official updates in the future?
Basically, i just want to be able to read proper arabic test on my phone.
I have all sorts installed but still my contacts (i.e. when people ring) are displayed in broken text... oh well. there is an arabic ROM package but it costs £3.60!
You can use persian browser to read arabic connected letters

Acer Bluetooth Keyboard German (QWERTZ) still not working (Android 3.1)

i just got me the officiall German Acer Iconia A500 BT Keyboard (70 Euros!) hoping it would be recognized correctly after updating to 3.1 - but i got disppointed. there is still no support for a german key layout and special characters (ßüöä).
is this a Honeycomb problem or was Acer too lazy? and did anyone here manage to make it work with an app or a workaround?
thanks in advance!

That is the reason, I did not buy any keyboard. I use Android 4.2.1 and still no support for german special characters!
I'm using External Keyboard Helper Pro from play. And it works great.

I'm using the same app, so I can't try, but most QWERTZ keyboards (Logitech, Rapoo, Perixx..) seem to switch layouts when pressing STRG+SPACE. Give it a try and report back.

download a 3rd party keyboard that has that layout. im using thumb keyboard for tablets and i just checked. azerty is one of the layouts.
thanks for the info , never would have thought that it was that easy
i already saw myself digging into system folders and file 's
as suggested i installed thumb keyboard , it works perfectly ( but not so easy to configure )

theres just a lot of options thats all. once you get the hang of it youll love it because you can change any little setting that you want .

[Q] Q4experts :is this a universal display problem for 4.1?

OK, I've tried a bit JB for some time on my Iconia A500, totally awesome! thanks a lot to civato and other pro [email protected] except for one thing I feel furious about--the retrogress of support to formulas and math symbols in docs and presentations. While ALL! symbols characters etc. can be displayed plus correctly on ICS:good: SO is it true ALL JB ROMs have the same supporting problem as this on my pad?
