I recently flash my i5801 without any problem , because i curious of diff kind of rom out there i want to try out all , so i flash many until today i flash to I5801DDJP2 then something happen ... odin stated pass , then my phone just stuck in samsung logo there , so i try to reflash it but odin cant detect my phone anymore .. i try with other pc also same cant detect ... is there any other ways to recover it ?
Sure, you have a soft brick.
Turn it off by long pressing the power button or pulling the battery.
Enter download mode by home+down+power.

if that doesn't help, go to recovery by pressing home+power+vol.up+vol. down together and wipe cach/factory reset. Maybe that shud help.
Did u manage to make ur fone working now?
Yup , Thanks but i tried it with diff port of usb and diff cable and it started to detect my phone again .. Thanks for the help guys .

ok so this phone is normal galaxy s with cayanogenmod 7 nothing special tho
last night something must have happen and now it will not start up.
its stuck on the logo of "Galaxy S GT-19000"
and i cant even go inside the recovery to do a full wipe and i cant connect it to the computer
what can i do??

I think your phone is bricked ( Soft )!
Solution :
Go into Download Mode By Pressing Volume Down Key + Home Button + Power Button.
Download Odin and the ROM you want to install
Flash the ROM using Odin.

hey i tried removing battery but its still the same , still at same condition at the starting galaxy logo .:--(
dont pull out ur battery just yet. wait for at least 10 minutes. make sure u also have eniugh battery. plug it into the charger to be safe.

yeah i have kept it in charging mode only and it has been on charing mode frm last 2 hrs, yet not progressed .shuld i try flashing original roms via odin method ??? really worried a lot .
Is it ota update or you are updated by odin?
no its by ota only, the one which u get after searching for the software upgrade in the phones setting .(search for upgrade option)

turn phone off, then press and HOLD (until you see recovery screen) volume UP
+ Power + Home-Button! In recovery menu select wipe data/factory reset. Than reboot.

Actually first try to reset and wipe by recovery mode.... Volume up+ home + power..... Its much simpler.....
Only if this method not work than you should try downloading mode.... Its complicated method.... You need to get expert advice for that...
Maybe OP is busy . Let me update the thread.

hello i am from chile, so my english it's not the best
I accidentally installed a firmware to L7 on my L5 (e612) this are the problems:
- the screen goes white (its always "in" white)
the phone reset ramdomly so i cant use the kdz or the LG support tool (when the programs are looking for the phone it resets)
and also i cant get in to download mode.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

And for the download mode you tried with more ports from your pc? I ask because i had this problem on my device, i couldn`t ente rin download mode because of my port from pc.
If you can go in download mode just install another kdz and all will be fine, but install a good one.

i tried that, and every 1 minute mi cellphone reset by it self, so i the program don't have the necesary time to recognize the phone and fix it.
i cant get in to dowload mode. hard reset doesn't work.

I had the same problem,Solved it with removin the battery,then put back on.Next i pluged the USB n then ive pressed vol down n power button n i was in download mode.But it took me to another problem.I had instaled custom JB n when the download finished it stayed on that custom ROM.The problem is that my phone is not rooted now and i cant get into CWM.Rooting tools doesnt work so idk what to do next.

the biggest problem: when i turn on the phone its that the screen don't show me anything,looks all white whit and a black frange downside, and it reset like every 1 minute

i cant do that because the cellphone reset, and y cant get in to download mode, also the screen its all white, i cant see anithing, i just listen the music of LG boot
take ur battery off,put it back on,hold volume down n plug the USB in,that worked for me.then u shud be in download mode.start KDZ n set it up n click start download

yeah, be sure you take out the battery, wait a few seconds and after put it again, after hold + and - and plug the usb to phone ( which is already connected to pc) and it will enter in download mode, after flash the kdz

Hmm.I got in download mode only with vol down,why is so diffrent from one device to another device?

Did you try emergency mode? (volume up + volume down + power button)
If not, turn off your phone and unplug it. Then enter emergency mode as described. Then wait 1-2 minutes to see if your phone is restarting. If not, continue flashing with Software update [KDZ] 1.0.4.4 (KDZ-Flasher).

go in cwm, flash again cm, and btw, if is cm10.1 or .2, you need to flash v20baseband

My friends phone got bricked ( i dont really know what happened coz he didn't explain it very well). I can go to recovery mode and odin mode but after a few seconds it keeps on turning off i can't even flash stock rom coz whenever i go to odin mode ang plug it in my pc it just turned off. can someone help me????

Have u charged the phone??? First charge it for some time then try!!

i had the same problem sir,, i get a battery from a fully charged galaxy y.. then the problem is still there..... it keeps turning off...... i cannot flash it through odin... can anyone help us? thanks

check your power button isnt stuck or faulty - try pulling it out or you might have to get a new power button if phone keeps turning itself off

power button is ok, but.. after flash my phone turn only recovery mode (and also unexpectedly turned off)
Try This method
remove battery from phone and connect to pc
(when battery removed your phone got power through data cable connected to pc)
than press three button together VOLUME DOWN BUTTON+POWER BUTTON+MENU BUTTON
when you see odin mode, insert the battery and flash stock firmware and complete the whole processs
you must have your phone driver installed so pc recognized you phone

Hello , i have a samsung galaxy s5 g900f 4.4.2 , i tried to update with odin to 5.0 .
When finished , it says fail , after that my phone won't turn on , only black screen .
What can i do ? Befor shutdown it says something like recovery with kyes , i don't no exactly .
I tried with kies , but i need some recovery code from the first owner pc .

Does it enter download mode? Vol Down + Home + Power button.
If yes flash with different latest firmware use something like sam mobile to download proper stock firmware

Try what dany said, if that doesn't work and the phone wont respond to any normal presses or such try this:
Remove battery
Press the button combination for download mode (Vol down + power + home)
while keeping those buttons pressed, insert battery again.
Hopefully it will force you to a menu where you can either reboot or enter download mode.

First of all, the Butrón combination is for the phone powered down while battery is inside, not combination without it.
Second, sounds like a bad flash to me.
I would encourage you to use ODIN, but if you don't know even how to put the phone into download mode, I cannot say it.
Next time, read the forums thorougly before attempting nothing that involves flashing.

I tried to update my s5 with odin , and get fail , after that it's show that i need to connect to kies , i tried to get again in download mode and then my phone get off , and i can't turn on .

Have you already tried the method Akalseman suggested? Perhaps you'll need a helping hand to insert the battery:
1. Remove Battery
2. Hold Vol down + power + home
3. Insert battery while keep holding the buttons
4. hold buttons and hope that it works
5. release buttons
