Contact Problem

dear all
most of the times my phone can not show the contact list . in my recent cals I can find them name so it means th contact list can sun but when I press the contact button it sows me a white page . after 10 to 15 times reset it will be ok .
what is going on to my phone !!!!!! help me guys

Which version of the phone are you using ? Which ROM ?
Where are your contacts saved ? In your sim card, or in the phone memory ?
Help people help you : provide relevant information.
Anyway, if it eventually works after a bunch of resets, it has to be a bug / conflict on your device.

my rom is the original one :6.1
and my contacts are on my phone , this problem is gong to choose one : kill myself or kill my ohone .
maybe a hard reset can help but I dont know how to make it . please help guys

if you hard reset your phone you're going to erase everything stored on your device (including your contacts).
i've seen this problem on my old elf with a 6.1 rom, and the solution for that device (in my case) was to kill the contacts process, soft reset, launch contacts again.
or you could try syncing everything to your PC first, then hard reset and sync everything back. be careful about conflict resolution options on which overrides which.

HELP!!! After Installing Logmein my Phone doesnt recognize SIM anymore

F.....!!! HELP !!! F......!!!

I just tried to installed the new Beta of Logmein (apk in another Thread). Old Beta worked perfectly, tried installing the new beta (install akp with EStrong Explorer)
-> Phone rebooted
now it says "no Simcard in Phone" and offers emergency call only.....
What to do?!?!?!? Please help me!
Can i skip that screen to get into the normal Interface and maybe try to uninstall the new Logmein Beta?
Can i uninstall it form pc
If i try to repair phone from pc, are my applications and settings lost???

Hmm have you tried restartin it? Worse comes to worse maybe link pc to phone and jus take out the logmein folder and see what happenz?

yes, restarting was the first try ....
Problem is, i thought i could update/repair firmware, BUT: PC-Companion tells me to pull down the taskbar to enable usb ...
well i only see the clock and the emergency call symbol and cannot pull down anything ...
Only key that works is long pressing power - pop up appears flight mode / silent / power off
No menu, no volume, but i see all the autostarting apps putting their status messages into status bar ....
So system is working, but just not letting me in ...
(And SE Support says: out of office hours ;( )

SEUS recognizes Phone, now trying to (re)install firmware ..
Well, losing all Data, but made a Backup 2 Weeks ago ...

Reinstalled Firmware (probably 1.0.14. as its an Austrian provider locked phone), but
Still no simcard detected ...
so ill have to try to crosscheck (xperia with another sim and sim with another phone)

So, at home i swapped Sim Cards and guess what ....
Sim is dead
(so reinstalling made no sense at all)
Interresting detail is that the Simcard was killed when installing Logmein Beta ....
But that must be pure coincidence???
Now ill start settung up my phone again ....

have cyanmodgen installed.. 7.0
my phone is an gen1 (dont really know if i need to update?)
my simcard is having some problems, i cannot access the contacts on my simcard since i flashed it, i have checked the card in another phone and i have all contacts in place there, i have tried some apps, like sim2contacts copysim etc etc..
my phone just says- " OOps, we have problems in reading your SIM contacts"
any fix, what to do??
the phone works fine, i can call, send sms, mms etc etc.. but not acces my sim contacts..

Contacts disappear problem .. Can anyone help ??

I have a very annoying problem. Sometimes after restart or power my phone off, all my contacts disappears (google contacts, facebook contacts and twitter contacts). I don't put contacts on phone.
I changed the sdcard and flashed the ROM again, but unfortunately the same thing happened and contacts also disappeared and google and facebook re-sync contact again. So, I believed that sdcard is not the problem.
This problem happened to me on several ROMs so I think it is not ROM dependent.
Is the problem on my device nand ?.
Can anyone suggests any thing to do to know what's the problem and how to fix it ?

i don't have the problem but my brother (also an hd2 owner) has it. no idea what's causing it!

I had similar issues, but this was with Widgets and applications dissapearing after reboot. I then changed my SDHC Card from a Class 4 to a Class 6, and issues is now fixed.
Maybe the same applies to you?

make sure u have stk app on your phone,don't ask why lol cos i don't know,i was advised myself and ive never had the problem since,(flashed over 100 roms since),then boot into recovery,wipe cache partition and wipe dalvik cache then reboot,that should do the trick

HTC HD2 windows phone problem with Market Place

Hello guys yesterday i decided to install android on my HTC HD2 which was running windows mobile at that time , i couldn't manage to install android ( i got stuck on 1 step ) so i repeated the process and installed windows 8 , It's working fine , but I can't enter the marketplace ( thats the main reason why i decided to install it , because i need a app called Viber so that i can talk for free and write messages with my girlfriend and friends , because here in Bulgaria its very expensive ). Anyway , i have contacted Windows Support and I have received my Code , I have activated it and i still have the same problem , When i click on it , it says me : apps , games , music ! And when I click apps its just empty black , i have the text above saying applic(and if i move it says applications) but there is nothing there , if i enter IE and go to the site to download it , it tells me "We can;t display this page right now. etc.etc." Can someone help me please , its important for me to be able to browse download and install apps ,"viber"as soon as possible. can someone write below a step by step tutorial to what should I do , or to engage into a video chat via skype so that we can get rid of the problem. In fact its even better if someone can tell me how to install working Android with its appstore or marketplace so that i can download it from there. Sorry if i dont speak understandingly.

seems you dont have internet connection....
which one you use? data or WiFi?
for data connection you must run Connection Setup to set your connection, and restart phone... if not working you must manually enter APN data in cellular settings

I have internet connection , I have data connection and router on max signal ,
The data connection works im on facebook when im on the bus , and my Wi-Fi connection is strong at home , im practically less than 20 cm from the router.
Here is how it looks when i enter marketplace

then is region problem... dont forget, only US anf GB region have access to all apps... ours regions like bulgarian or croatian have limited access...

So i must - create new account make it say im from the United States , what is hard reset of phone? Do you mean the Settings>About>Reset your phone ?

no need to say you from USA when create account
this be set with phone, just set region in phone settings and when first time download from marketplace region be locked

??? where you see this? this not true.... maybe you not understand this news... only for devices which have first release of Windows Phone and NoDo update (7.0)... all devices with Mango, Tango and newer updates (7.5, 7.8) not loose Marketplace...
and learn netiquette: writing in CAPS is rude... and forbidden on forums...

or you mean about WM6.5...this is logic MS step... eventually all devices loose support after few years...

maybe you can try getting into market through linking to the zune

When I first download asks me to set up account and it chooses people's republic of china and after I introduce date of birth it sais ''Can't set up account
You've reached the maximum number of accounts allowed for a windows phone.Contact a support person of your service provider to help you.''
But I have introduced only one account.
Can you help me?

I've recently installed WP7.8 by Pdaimatejam OS 7.10.8858.136 RMT v8.7 and made my live acc on PC with region Poland and my post code. Next thing i'm trying to do is running Marketplace and login with that acc. Ofc app asks for activation code, i've got one so it's no problem and then when app connects acc with phone, it asks for region which is set to People Republic of China with no other choice. My phone region is also set to Poland as well as language. Just tried with 2 other acc and second one was set for Korea... 3rd is also set for PRC. Any ideas how this happens ? I'd be gratefoul for solution.

Hello everyoen first time on this site and posting i have a HTC HD2 and my friend put the android on the sd card and i was wondering if anyone cam pm me or email me what would be the android version for this phone its good and all but this version the screen occasionally doesnt apear when i go to open it and its kind slow which is annoying can anyone help please and thank you.
