Market Downloads & GTalk

Hi there. Anyone managed to find a fix for this annoying issue.
When you try and download an app from the market, the download will not start until you sign in / out of Google Talk.
I have unselected 'Automatically sign in' on Google Talk but it still signs itself in.
The only way to start the download is to click on GTalk and click sign out.
I have also tried uninstalling Google talk but I can't.
I am using WiFi on an unlocked HTC Hero running Legendary v1.3.5 (2.1) ... I have already wiped the caches (Market, GTalk etc)
your help is much appreciated.
Thanks

Reboot........
Or just wait some downloads take a while to start.
Or cancel the download and start it again.
Loads of options that seem to work.
sadly there seems to be the option that it doesn't work at all. i managed to steer my mcr3.1 installation to this point now at least twice, i tried everything, only way to bring back the market downloads was a wipe. lol actually i did that less than an hour ago

Market issue

I received the Froyo update this morning on my Droid X, but now when I go to the app market and click menu -> downloads, I don't see all my apps that were downloaded/installed. I only see gmail and dropbox. Anybody know why and how to fix?
Please disregard, I downloaded a new app and all is fine now. Sorry.
My issue is that some apps are still blocked. The Market must not recognize this official release yet. I can't see...
Skype
PayPal
RedBoxer *purchased
...just to name a few. I know that I can edit the build.prop but I shouldn't have to. Is anyone else seeing this right now?
oddly enough, all my apps were there after the update last night....but now, there are several that don't show up, even if i do a market search....
getting same problem. friend has a Droid with 2.2 and his market shows many apps that my X w/2.2 does not??????
i did a factory data reset and now even MORE of my apps don't show up, wtf is up with that?
I'm glad you said something about PayPal. Glad it's not just me. Of all the apps I have, 108 currently installed, only 6 of which I kept getting "Not Found" on via App Brain. Running the built in Market app shows them under search, but clicking on them returns the "Not Found" crap too.
Here's the ones, if anyone has any luck let me know:
default browser
calltrack
homerun
paypal
camera 360
digital clock widget (has a sky background as the icon since there are several; currently second app on first page on appbrain search results)
found this on the droid x forums.....clear the market cache and force stop it, this seems to restore the 'missing' apps...or so it seems!!!

That doesn't exactly correct this issue. The problem here is that the market doesn't recognize the Droid X yet, so certain secure apps won't show up. That usually happens with leaks. You can edit build.prop in the system folder to "spoof" and trick the market into thinking it's a Droid 2. I went ahead and did that because I was sick of waiting.

Just checked tonight and all the apps are there now. Looks like the market was updated to recognize Droid X running 2.2!

Android Market Problems

Whenever I update any app it is causing the market to close. I'll go back to the market and the app I started the download update on will restart the download and finish. Very strange. This just started a few days ago. Any answers would be welcomed.
I have the same problem on stock rooted

Sometimes the market will force-close each time I start it forcing me to do some combination of clearing its cache, removing its update, or uninstalling the most recently installed apps. It's probably the least reliable app on my phone at the moment, with the mms app being in second place.
I've also started to have the issue of it crashing while download updates. If I restart it, it continues fine.
I have no way to qualify this, but it feels like the market app is particularly sensitive to network connectivity. Obviously it needs data to function but it doesn't seem to handle connectivity problems gracefully.
I'm still stock and not rooted.
Clear cache on market... That fixed mine.

I have this issue as well (rooted and unrooted). I was reading the google developer blog and many were complaining how this can screw up their payment, or processing of purchased apps. Not sure, but sounded like this was fairly widespread...

You are having the same problems I have. Force close on downloading of updates is very frustrating to say the least.
I am also stock and not rooted.
I have IG 1.1.1 flashed but my problem is it starts the download then freezes. The whole market goes down. If I reset the phone, when its done rebooting it doesn't reload all off my apps that were already saved to the sd card. Any ideas what is wrong or any way to get the lost apps back? I also have titanium but it only reloads them sometimes.

Thought I was alone with this! My market will also FC once I start to update an app, then multiple apps will update that I have flagged for auto-update. It seems my market gets overwhelmed by more than 1 app update running at a time. I just hit FC then re-open it and everything is fine again.
Market 2.2.6 seems a lot more stable for me. I will randomly get download failed messages from it, but it no longer seems to hang or FC anymore.

[Q] How to stop all downloads on Gingerbread?

Hi, I'm using android Gingerbread (SD) and was downloading some apps from the market when my phone ran out of battery. Now when I reboot there is a constant notification in the notification bar which says that my download is in progress, but the progress bar doesn't move, and I don't know how to get rid of it. Even tried rebooting, but it doesn't change
Go to Market and uninstall those apps and then install it again. If the apps already installed but the Market is still saying it's in downloading progress, then download Easy Uninstaller to uninstall it and then install the apps from the Market.
I went to the market and it shows the apps on 'My Apps' as Free (as opposed to installed, like the rest of the apps). Oddly though, I only tried to download 3 apps, but in the notification bar it shows the apps I was trying to download 'and 8 more' ?!
Anything that you downloaded from the Market will listed under My apps. Sometime the ROM that you installed have preloaded apps and the Market regconized that under My apps as well. Follow the steps on the above post if the Market got confused on the downloading/stuck/updating apps.
Try going into Settings/Applications/Manage Applications/Market and clear data and cache. Then it should stop constantly always downliading those apps.

I don't quite understand what you mean, but I've left wifi on for a while and it now has reduced the number from 8 to 6 apps to download. I have not got any notifications that they were installed but hopefully it will just clear all the downloads. Only problem is that if the screen turns off it stops downloading, so I have to leave the screen on.
Its in your phones settings under applications. That happens sometimes when ur phone dies with apps being downloaded. Just click on the things i said in the order i listed them and the downliading aops should go away instantly

I don't have the marketplace thing under manage applications, but I used the app in the first reply to sort it out instead. Thanks

Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped

I'm getting this message after force stopping framework in order to get the KK update. Good news, it worked. I received the KK update but now I'm getting this error at boot up.
I've tried force stopping, clear data, clear cache on a bunch of the google apps but no luck. Almost all the google apps in the app drawer are showing a date of 12/31/1969. Even a factory reset doesn't work.
I'm stock, no root.
Any ideas?

Thanks for the link to clear the keyboards. This stopped the pop up error but all of these apps in my apps drawer are still showing 12/31/1969? Why would this be?
A bunch of apps are acting wonky as well. Google now traffic card hasn't been popping up. My android device manger app doesn't even show my phone. It shows two older phones a had previous to the G2.
Wtf is happening here?
You didn't read the warnings on why you shouldn't clear framework?
