i hope its supported but does HTC HD2 support HD voice? i couldn't find much about HD voice but in Canada wind mobile is offering HD voice for compatible phones and iam not sure if my HD2 supports it or it has to be activated.
As per the below link, it has to be activated ! but can you guys shed some light on this HD voice topic for HD2. Thanks

I am also wondering what is required to support this. I know in Android, build.prop key ro.ril.enable.amr.wideband enables/disables it...but it doesn't seem to work when I enable it.

Hey there, ive had the htc hd2 for a while after getting rid of the touch hd and have to say, its alot better then the previous model but one thing thats missing is the youtube application, i have got in on contract from t-mobile uk and was wondering is they anyway of getting the youtube application without flashing a new rom?

yes it can be installed as a cab..... but it will screw up other networking programs.
use the search function and search for t mobile youtube app there are several threads about it.
I loaded Ytube via the cab and it works fine without any issues with other programs. I am on T-Mobile. My only problem is the distorted sound on high frequencies during calls.
Any good voice call/command activated dialing software is available for both HTC Touch Diamond2 and HTC HD2? I am looking for both the models from HTC.

I've just purchased a HTC HD Mini and want that the japanese chars are recognized by it. How can I get this to work.
I've tried with the cab file from the HTC Diamond 2 but that 1 isn't working.

I cannot confirm that this patch works, but for those of you who want to display chinese characters: the sunglobe.cab works perfectly to display chinese characters. Even within the sense UI.

I am an owner of HTC HD2 (LEO)
I went to a store in greece to see the new HTC HD-mini (photon) to have a closer look.
I tapped the internet tab on htc sense and it opened Pocket Internet Explorer,and having the habbit of opera mobile of my hd2 and i started pinch 2 zoom and i couldn't believe on my own eyes..!!!
The HD mini had multitouch support on Internet Explorer.
The Rom version that i saw was 1.07.482.1 ELL.
Why HD2 doesn't have multitouch on pie and HD-mini has.??
Can somebody explain me pls.??
Any developer to bring the multitouch pie from HD-mini to LEO??

i think HTC wants you to buy HTC HD Mini when you already have HTC HD2.

The HD2 originally had multitouch in PIE but it was removed for some reason or another.
It would be nice to have pinch to zoom in IE (I don't think full multitouch is possible), but I don't recall seeing a build anywhere.
A possible reason is that 6.5 didn't properly support capacitive screens while 6.5.3 (hence why the HD Mini with stock 6.5.3 has PtZ PIE while the HD2 doesn't. Only Opera).
Personally, I still prefer Opera, and with FixOperaFlash, PIE has been made redundant (to me) on my HD2.
Hi I consider buying Desire HD, I am owning HTC HD2 now, cld u answer my questions pls.
how is Desire HD compared to HT2
- Call recording - can some1 test Total Recall Android, does it record both sides?
- Battery Live - HD2 must be charged every day
- playing avi and other formats - no problem at all with HD2 (useing TCPMP)
- email - HD2 can record only on phones memory, so I use Profimail which is much better then original one.
- any navigation? garmin and iGo 8 works perfect on HD2
- is Cookie working on HD7? Do I need it there?
- Facebook? working properly?
- Myspace? (not working on HD2)
- Word? (full version?)
- any English dictionares?
- Skype( working on HD2)
