Does anyone have any ideas what the best ROM is for SD card installation.
One in which everything works smooth, fast and doesn't heat up very quickly.
There are loads out there so wondered if anyone had any suggestions, I am using cyanogenmod 7 gingerbread at the moment.
Thanks

Hey guys!
im running CM7 right now and would like to try a Desire HD Rom.
I havent had one on my HD2 yet and before flashing I would like to ask which rom you would recommend for the EU-HD2.

Reading the forums and trying by your self.
I just hoped that sb can share his experience, since there are like 20 sense -roms out there.

Is there any other rom that can match up to MIUI? Everything else seems so stock and plain... and I've loaded a lot of them. Anyone, anyone?

Why switch roms, if you like MIUI so much anyways?
Miui has shut down thanks to nix apparently. Well, not the Chinese, just the site and bringing it to English.

Yea, I noticed I couldn't get on.

I guess warttack and some other will be starting up their on miui Inc site...
I was wondering what was going on with the site. Warttack and NIX are no longer porting for the Inc, however, War said he will post new builds on Twitter.
MIUI has been my daily for about 3 months now. I was missing some aspects of HTC Sense so I gave Warm Z a try and it is a very nice ROM. The problem is MIUI's UI just blows everything out of the water and is soooooo smooth. It's hard to use anything else!
I'm with ya on that!

yurp
miui+tiamat 3.3.8 kernel is bombass. on top of that, i recommend the ilstonerules theme because its the most stable iphone theme. depends on what your into though. i used to be all about lp, but switchin it up every now and then is fun. miui is a great daily

Yeah! Wart, NIX, Wow all have decided to part ways with MarkHuk and the site but im sure they'll post them on this site... I also saw somewhere that they have a new site coming up. I think Warttack posted it, I went to it and it said coming soon! SOOOOOOOO lets hope for the best!
Ive been on this ROM forever now and have no means of switching. If worst comes to worst ill port it myself like i did with it when it 1st started. (its just time consuming)
Its a sad day when Devs cant get along and people have personal agendas that get placed in the negative light!

ok guys, so today i will be bringing you guys a video of my Rooted Droid incredible and i will be running a Game Lag Test for you
I am using the Liberated v3.0 Custom ROM and Stock HTC Kernal
(if you guys can recomend a good Custom kernal for little as possible lag, good connection, and good battery life, it would be greatly appreciated)
ok guys so tell me what you think
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPw2fhHgLHg
Looks pretty awful as far as lag goes. If there was a free version of NFS I'd try it out as a comparison but unfortunately $10 is way too much.
I've never been happy with any Sense based ROM. Always slow and atrocious battery life. CyanogenMod for me. Much smoother and more customizable. If you want to stick with Sense I really can't give a good recommendation. The day I left Sense for CM I never once looked back.
Wat are u using to capture this ?

That's interesting, I actually prefer sense. Cm actually had worse batt life on my phone anytime I used it in comparison. I would suggest using the ultimateinc Rom 1.1. I've had my phone on with light use using tinys kernel since 8 this morning, It's 630p right now, and its at 70%. I would say that's great batt life.

This. Are you using an app on the device? It looks like you are, and that alone will slow it down horribly.
I'm a previous Incredible owner and I am actually the developer of the ROM you're using. NFS Shift ran just fine on mine.

Challenge accepted! Lol Cupcake on the Evo. Wonder how that would run being that the Evo specs are well above what's needed. I'm assuming, if someone is actually able to get it to boot cupcake, that it would run about as well as running Windows 95 on one of today's typical PC specs.
In regards to the toolbox and apps. Would the flash 11.x work on GB as well? I thought flash stopped at 10.x for GB and 11.x was for 4.x.x (ICS and up).

I think it does run on GB. When I flash a rom I flash this group of app along with it. It shows up in my apps when I boot up but I am not sure of the last time I used any flash on my phone. I usually use my pc for the Internet.
Op has some more info. I will be working on it more over the next few days. This will have apps, tweaks, and tricks. The apps are one part of the toolbox that will start showing up in our roms. They will also be included in a flashable zip for those who are not using our roms. The second part of the toolbox will be exclusive to our roms. It consists of modifications to the installer script that will put a copy of your recovery log into a folder on your sdcard. It will also do a md5sum of the rom you are installing and put that in the folder also.
Remember this is a work in progress so don't expect it to be finished over night.
