You're probably right. Same applies to Pocket Legends. I think the second list is existing Android games and upcoming Android games that will support the Play's gamepad soon.
LOL @ fapin' btw ^^
Lumines for Xperia Play is in the Market, however at launch it was set up to be incompatible with the Xperia Play as the Market saw things, so you wouldn't be able to actually purchase it. I poked the guys that made it and they fixed it so that it can be bought now. Also, you will find it when looking for Xperia Play Optimized games either with a manual search or with the automatic one you get from a button in the game launcher.
I also already have sent them a bunch of bugs to fix.

What's the verdict on Lumines? I used to love it for my PSP. Is the soundtrack still great and how does the game look/control?

Soundtrack is hit or miss. There are some great tracks, but there are a couple of duds. Controls are great and graphics are good, but definitely could be better.
Here is a screenshot from the game.

I've had no issues rotating pieces. You could alternately use L/R to spin them.
It just doesn't feel very fluid I guess. It works, but you can't hold the dpad left or right, you need to keep tapping it.
Also, I'm going to buy a Gameloft game. Just not sure whether to get Sacred Odyssey or go with Rainbow Six. I'm leaning towards Sacred Odyssey as I already have enough shooters, and a fun RPG with the Play's controls would be great.

Has anyone tried Eternal Legacy on the iDevices and tell us how it is? It is the only game I find sort of compelling, and not too much actually...
In response to someone asking about Lumines... It's a little on the buggy side, but still very much the same game you know and love, just with different themes. The gameplay sometimes becomes slightly unresponsive but nothing terrible by any means. There is no smooth transition between skins at this point. I don't know if they are planning on making any fixes at this point or not, but I sure hope so. Even with all this, I'm happy with my purchase.

Monopoly
The Sims 3
Asphalt 5
I think Android games is better than PSP games
And you should have all of them
Thanks
Edited : The Sims 3 HD download file :
Here, the Sims 3 HD of my Xperia X10.
I have backup it with Titanium Backup.
So you must download and install Titanium Backup before you can install+play The Sims 3 HD.
Titanium Backup can be found on the Market (rooted required)
Here the link of The Sims 3 HD : NO WAREZ
After you download it, you must extract the content of your downloaded file to sd card:/TitaniumBackup folder (if not found it, you can create a folder with name "TitaniumBackup" on your sd card)
Then, go to Titanium Backup app, and then restore The Sims 3 from Backup/Restore tab.
Enjoy your The Sims 3 HD

PSP is so much better. For example: Persona 3! All the TALES of games on PSP.
Dynasty warrior multi raid 1 and 2!
metal gear solid peace keeper!
and DYSSIDIA!!! BEST GAME EVER!
I love valkyria chronicle which is coming soon.
You only live in a world with phone games, you never have the true taste of real gaming yet! Most of the games you posted up there would most likely get a highest score of 5/10 @ ign. almost all of them are crap in ps3/PC/xbox360 version.

I love play Dissidia, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Prince of Persia, PES 2010 on my PSP too

Can galaxy s support games like Iphone 4?
Sent from my X10i using Tapatalk
It does support some of the same games like Asphalt and Angry birds
but in general Android isnt ripe for gaming yet
It doesn't have too many games yet, but there are quite a few good ones. Android development does seem to be accelerating actually.
One engine which might be popular in the future (ID rage) has been ported to iPhone but carmack isn't committed to porting to Android yet, so it's hard to know what the future is like, but Android is getting pretty cool
You guys think 3.0 gingerbread could do it?

Mostly.. If Carmack does finish rage for Android though, that will be cool.
There are plently of top games on android and many play better then an iphone (3gs 4g is fine).
These are the main games I have on my galaxy S at the moment, they all play perfect and some are very good graphics. And this is only a few of the 100s of games available for Android....
Krazy Kart - Galaxy Freebie, this is a mario kart style racer with powerups etc

Asphalt5 - Galaxy Freebie, a 3D racer with high frame rate and good graphics
Angry Birds - Free from Market, a good puzzle game, the object is to kill pigs with a variety of birds shot from a catapult
Tiki Tower - Free from Devs website, a puzzle games the object is to get all the Monkeys from A to B whilst collecting all the bananas
Real Football - £3 from Gameloft, A footbal sim what more can I say
Hexen II - Free supports full controls (must own full game for pak files), plays just like the original on the pc though controls can be tricky
Guitar Hero World Tour - Can't remember where I got this from, only supports 3 frets and seems to want to download each song as and when you play it but does play ok.
Heroes of Sparta - £3 from Gameloft, very good 3D adventure game big swords and lots of blood
PapaStacker - Free from Market, the object of the game is to stack blocks of various shapes, and sizes and the stack must balance before the time runs out to progress
Zenonia - Fairly cheap from Market, an RPG game but I haven't given it a proper whirl yet
Avatar - £3 from Gameloft, 3D game with little simularity to the movie
Snesoid - Get your roms out plays all, use the lite version save your money
Gameboid - Again use lite version
Dungeon Hunter - £3 from Gameloft, and RPG based on lvling a character of your choice with XP, weapons, items etc one of my fav games atm
Kwaak3 - Quake3 Arena, still working on getting BT keyboard working with this, but the game itself plays very well
PSX Emu - Playing Final Fantasy VIII on this atm works perfect.
Sandstorm - £3 from Gameloft, this is a "COD" fps style game.
I agree, Its not up to our system as if you look very closely iphone 4 and sgs almost share the exact hardware. Their A8 cortex cpu is actualy a hummingbird cpu with minor changes being ours is just a little more powerful (just a little) and Samsung actualy builds the cpu for appl

News from Electronic Entertainment Expo:
Sony anunció también la llegada al terminal de tres de sus títulos más clásicos en PlayStation, como son Hot Shots Golf 2, Wipeout y Jet Moto. También han anunciado el desarrollo de más de 100 juegos exclusivos para el terminal y que sus usuarios disfrutarán de Minecraft Pocket antes que el resto de usuarios de Android.

Sony anounced the arrival to this device of three of his Playstation classics: Hot Shots Golf 2, Wipeout and Jet Moto. Thay have anounced too the development of more than 100 exclusive games for the Xplay and that Minecraft Pocket Edition will be available for us before the rest of Android devices.
From: http://www.xatakandroid.com/moviles-android/xperia-play-experiencie-pack-aumentando-capacidades
In my opinion, those more than 100 titles will be more casual mobile games, and so much few will be trully good. :/
And only three more Playstation titles? Wow, great support from the own Sony... And I thought that in this E3 they would announce support on the Xplay for PSP games (it would be possible, and you know it)...
And Minecraft Pocket Edition... with that subtitle ("Pocket Edition") I fear that we will only be able to play single player...
I know that the Xperia Play is not a console, but if Sony creates a platform like the Playstation certified devices, it should support it more strongly. This E3 should had been the big boom of announcements for the Xperia Play, and what did it get? A relaunch of the dock and three playstation classics +100 games where the half of them will be surely game copies from Gameloft... =___=
What do you think about all this?
Just. As. Expected.
There will be more PS1 games on the way. I'm not sure exactly what you were expecting... Xperia Play specific games? No developer is going to do that, so yes, they will be mobile games ported with Xperia Play controls most likely.
I agree. This is ridiculous. To hell with that minecraft game. They made such a stupid fuss over that one game. It looks retarded if you ask me.

You really should educate yourself before running your mouth, the nvida tegra 2, although dual core, has exactly the same maxium clock speed as the quallcomm scorpion. And the scorpion can be overclocked to double its clockspeed to 2ghz, as for gpu's adreno has more than enough power to process any game out on android atm, so why have a better gpu if there is nothing to take advantage?? And finally android is optimised for the snapdragon chipset, so we get a more enjoyable android experience

Guy who cares about support from sony. I already have every sony and nintendo and sega game. The 3rd party games so far been awesome. The ones coming are good also. As is this phone is still the greatest phone ive ever owned. I could care less about updates to 2.3. I wont even touch it. It isnt broke so dont try to fix it.

I was also hoping for more game announcements from E3....The gameloft games are cool but they don't really take advantage of the analog controls properly. Like has been said elsewhere on the board, they just replicate the touchscreen function on the analog pad instead of replicating an analog stick which is what you would expect.
In the U.S. we have YET to see even ONE Ps1 game come out. Except for Crash which comes on the phone. Other than the hope for a PSP emulator I think we are doing alright with content, just need proper use of the controls available!

Same here, why would i buy a phone/gaming device to play ps1 games ? that i could do with a psp. anyway guess if they "forget" to make new 2011 games for this phone and go all out for NGP ill just sell this and buy a android phone "not so expensive" and get a NGP for the gaming matter.
After 15 years of trying i have never completed Mario 64.
Since i got my play in April i have been playing Mario 64 on N64oid on and off at dinner times at work. Today was the day i finally completed it and i want to share the news with the world.

The MegaDrive one. The good ending takes its fair time, as you have to collect the six (yes, they were six back then) Chaos Emeralds.
Games which are still in my list, but not feasible right now (lack of time):
ICO- PS2, Skies of Arcadia-DC, Vagrant Story-PSX.
Did you collect the 120 stars?

Skies of arcadia on the DC was an epic game. One of the best rpg's ever
I had a demo disc of SoA back then when I had the DC. I played so much with it that one day I spent one afternoon reaching level 20, killing mooks before facing the first boss battle (after which the demo ended). The boss battle was like any mook by then That's how freaking great that game is.

Ocarina of time
Shining force 1 and 2, and
Grandia (ps1 version)
I'm hoping they all play well on the play, has anyone tried them? (except for OoT which was mentioned above)
Just as the title says, what do you think would be a great game or games to have on this phone, but try to be realistic, for example, don't say Mass Effect 3 or anything of that sort, that's what OnLive is for. I'll go first.
I think Grandia 2 would be a great game to have on the Play, it was originally for the Dreamcast. It even looks like it could be an Android title in the first place IMO.

I love Grandia 2. I still play it on my dreamcast and I have all the grandia games. Ps1 Francis, Sega Saturn grandia. Grandia 2 for DC and PS2. Grandia xtreme grandia 3. I would not mind seeing Albert Odyssey from the Sega Saturn on the xperia play. Not the best graphics but great story.

Precisely Grandia, like other turn-based RPG or strategy game, is the kind of game that I wouldn't mind seeing in any Android phone, but which wouldn't fully use the virtues of the gamepad. In fact I think those kinds of games which don't require reflexes or speed of mashing buttons are better suited for the touchscreen, provided that you solve the issue of moving the characters. Games like Final Fantasy Tactics would be very nice to see properly ported to an Android phone.
A good fighter (that excludes that abortion called Fight Game Heroes which came about some time ago) is something we're sorely lacking, and which would use it. The Soul Calibur series would be legendary, a dream come true.
I would like to see a version of uncharted like the ps vita one

Rollercoaster Tycoon 1
All I really feel like we're missing is a online fighter.
Fight Game Heroes could be that game if they'd just beef up the fighting/techs and patch it with online play (like they said they would)

THE ENTIRE kingdom hearts saga. I would probably die if that happened

I think we miss open world rpgs in the vein of Elder Scrolls. I mean, sure you can play ultima underworld on andosbox... but it's not quite the same thing. (did anyone try dosbox turbo?)
Pac man ce DX
Gran Turismo
God of War
Killzone
LittleBigPlanet
Metal Gear Solid
Uncharted
GTA San Andreas. I saw someone playing it on an Android. I guess you need a java emulator.
We have it. I play it with fpse and it's fantastic. It doesn't need analogs anyway.
Battlefield 3, SSX, GT5, Unreal Tournament III & Mass Effect 3

I know, I just mean that the game should be officially released on the android store. With Maria and the extra levels included as well as being able to switch between the original and new voice acting...*drools*

I would really like to see:
At least one of the Twisted Metal series
Grand Turismo 1 and 2
Driver
Motorstorm RC (since it would be the most likely to be ported over)
Metal Gear Solid
Crash Team Racing (even though most people already have it)
I decided to look back on this topic.
I would love to have Doom 3 on the Android. That would be sweet. The requirements aren't even high at all (may need an OC'd Play since 1.5GHz is the minimum). The demo was also released for Linux, yet it was most likely closed source so that wouldn't work. Just a cool thought.
