2.2.1 - 2.3.3 roms with sense - Hero, G2 Touch General

i thought it will be handy for the new ppl in the rom flashing and kernel world, to make a treath about that. with posting your current rom and kernel and your expirience with it.. like speed stable gaming expirience etc
im using the wildhero 2.3.3 rom with sense now with the flykernel 12a
its lagging somethimes but stable enough for daily use without gaming

Any game in particular?

I thought u might like to take a look at this:

best eclair/hero port for mt3g?

anyone have any suggestions... i need one thats kinda stable with not a whole lot of lag with primo features... =]
thanks in advance.
moved from development
MLIGN 3.2b is really fast and pretty stable in my opinion.
Hero ROM= MLIGN 3.2B but you need to flash twisted deport 1.0 right after flashing the ROM. no wiping in between. You can find the twisted deport in the MLIGN 3.3 thread.
Eclair ROM = KingKlick's latest 2.1 ROM or OpenEclair's latest 2.1 ROM. Very fast and stable and they both got a 99% working nexus launcher (all it is missing is the 3D roll effect) but they both have all the problems of an eclair ROM for the MT3G/g1. no camcorder or video playback since the drivers aren't released.

[ROM][32B] perfect 2.2 rom + kernel combination

Hello guys 'n girls!
I spent a long time on combining all the froyo-based roms out there with the different kernels that are available.
Here's the outcome:
Use OTA-CM-mix froyo rom from amazinglarry: [link]
After flashing the rom, flash ezterry's BiffMod kernel: [link]
Why should u use it?
it's REALLY fast
the battery-life is pretty good (I play around with it alot and get about 2 days!)
please tell me how u like it!

[Q] Which Android rom do you use?

Lets face it...MDJ isn't coming back anytime soon (If ever!) and frankly he has left quite a few people that use his ROMS in the cold.
So, in my unsuccessful quest to find a replacement ROM, does anyone have any suggestions on a Android NAND ROM as a replacement for MDJs Gingerbread CM7 Roms?
If its not listed in the POLL, just post below and I will add it.
Never tried gingerbread roms for real before so I wouldn't know sorry. However from my past experience with JDMS Ultimate Droid, I would recommend you trying crawlingcity's Ultimate Droid 3.1
The build i'm using now is gauner's desire z build. Just sticking to Froyo until enough apps get updated to gingerbread.
I would suggest Ultimate Droid 3.01.
Fast clean and reliable I have not encountered anything that does not work.
Fast boot time takes about 1 minute.
Cheers..
For me this rom is allmost close to perfect:
skink Clean Desire v1.2
Stable, fast and nice . I like Sense. Thank you
MDJs_CyanogenMod7_v.2.6_NAND_A2SD+.

Should I Upgrade To Official 2.3 Or Wait For Improved Roms

Should I upgrade to "WB-XPERIA TW Gingerbread | Speed&Hotfix 003 | 100% Mobile Bravia | 31/7/2011" or should I wait for future roms?
I dont want to have to backup and upgrade again if there are gonna be better roms in a few days.

That's half the fun
I'd suggest flash either wolfs or Ericks ROM as they both are releasing updates so all you need to do is delete the scriptz folder and install the updated tweaks zip...
That way you have a great ROM and it only gets better
These first custom ROMs are stable and fast as they are based on pretty good stock ROM.
These guys had not a chance to mes... to tweak them much yet so everything should be working fine
Custom roms are actually the future of the x10.
Either wolfie's or from others your phone will getting day by the day because they are releasing updates so fast .
Choose your custom rom flah and you will not regret it .

yeah little by little it is getting easier how to flash/xrec roms and stuff like that. using wolfs rom and it is better than stock gb rom.
flashing new rom's can't possibly be easier imo ... almost anybody can do it

I think that is personal, and depends of what you want from your phone. I didnĀ“t like the stock eclair ROM. I prefer using Gingerbread which is based on cyanongenmod for other devices.
Froyo and Gingerbread ARE Cyanogen...
i recommend you froyobread, bugless and easy to use..
For me, I worked my way up to the latest OS, that way I got to experience them all, which gave me an overall opinion of which I liked most and that is Gingerbread. Give it a try, what could you lose?
try froyobread v23b, it's based on froyo
it's final release and bugless
but if you don't mind updating like every 2 days
try ginger dx, it's based on gingerbread
still in development so you might find any bug.

Here you go!
it's for new peeps here!
Try froyobread V.022 (Froyo) if you want xperia active launcher try V.023 but V.023 Optimized all listview and improved 2d perfomace scrolling/flinging disabled
Try GingerDX V.06 (Gingerbread) it's stable enough but it's still have bugs on Rooted file explorer (busybox problem)
I've used floyo... and now i use GingerDX
