I have HTC touch HD with WM 6.5 on it i want to put Android as my second OS and i was reading that it is possible to have "dual boot" but i dont know how to put android on my HTC,where can i find Android that would be the best choice for my device,where can i find a good Tutorial-step by step???
when i install how can i chose in which OS will it boot,do you get a sort of OS selection screen??? :\
I ask all this becose i see that noone did not do it with THC touch HD...Is any danger that i could damage WM will it be enough 2GB of SD card to cover the needs???
Please recomend me some good tutorial-step by step,i dont want to screw-up my device!

That will be the best thing that can happen to the iPAQ 9xx.
as far as I know there is an app which enables dual boot, (winmo+android)
But I don't know if all the requirements are good for it.

I intend to try and change the actual WM 6.5 on my htc touch viva to android (rom, not by SD card) and I would like to know the new battery performance in the same equipment, running android (of course, starting from the state that I'm really able to move to Android)!

i've already read that topic among others.... and I intended to unlock the rom, 'till I found that those programs needed to do that wouldn't run in my X64 bit processor :'(
It is said that is possible to run Android from a ROM instead of SD card...

Some people prefer WM os 'cause they see it a little more "in their style"

I think it's possible ... htc touch2 and htc tattoo is different only in appearance masks, sprecifikacija them is the same
doesn't work on tattoo, different drivers, and wtf, wm sucks, even if i develop software for wm. Like i saw on other posts, if you don't like android because linux is hard, just sell the phone and buy wm phones.

Write the corresponding winmo drivers for tattoo and then it'll work - have fun, since this is a hell of work coming towards one

guys i have Jade which has the same specs as the Tattoo and they guys at the jade section have been trying the reverse of what u want and it seems impossible so i got this one just to try out the android so i think its the same here so if u really wana try Winmo 6.5 then buy a winmo

well the big question here is do you still want winmo or not?
you can dual boot winmo & android if you like or if you want to get rid of winmo then you can replace winmo with Android. dual booting will allow you to boot android from your sd card so if you like winmo & want to keep it i would suggest that. however if you dont like winmo and want to get rid of it you can switch to a nand build which will boot directly into android when you start your phone every time.
Hello everybody, i would like to buy à new phone to replace my old topaz without android's ROM .
I hesitate between new smarthphones as HTc One V , Lumia 710/610 or Sony xperia u/ray and thé old Htc HD2. I like the possibility to have mango+ICS however i would like to know if android's and mango's ROM are fast and stable and if à dualboot not too slow and complicated is. To finish, has thé same performance /capacities as these phones?

You can find HD2 for sale in good condition at a great price, WP7 is the fastest OS ever and is keep going to be the perfect OS for the HD2, Im running the latest WP7.5 ROM from Ansar and ICS on the SD card - dual boot without any problems
Great ! Thats what i wanted to heard, hd2 with dualboot ics/tango is fast and stable! Nice because i find really great to use both OS with a low price (in France, a used but in a good state cost around 150€ and i think That i can negotiate to 100/120€) thank you for your quick answer! I Will buy it after summer.

No, you install Tango on the NAND and ICS on the SD card. Bear in mind your SD may not be compatible with MAGLDR (mine unfortunately wasn't) so check that it is first.

Just use SanDisk cards 8/16/32GB and there will be no problems, this is the best device choice if you want stable developers support and the latest OS stuff
