Yea the Golauncher EX is working good enought for me. And the Go weather is good i like it.
MY BEST ON WILDFIRE presently.
1.Launcher ?? --- launcher pro plus (lpp). Secondary is superfast zeam launcher.
2.Widgets ?? --- lpp widgets. Also individual widgets frm market if i need any.
3.Music app ?? --- TTPOD only. has all the features I need.
4.Video app ?? --- rock player arm v6 optimized one. Any others are secondary.
5. Support stable app on Wildfire ?? --- what's this.
*ROM ?? --- unexpectedly made the froyo update, so no choice here. But if I get a chance, I prefer the AOSP builds since they have JIT enabled and are faster. Of course the present gingerbread or anything higher in future.
*Kernel ?? --- Just need an overclocking kernel which is present in cm7. So nothing here.
*Radio ?? --- the latest one which ends with 20.10 . And the oldest hboot + latest clockworkmod recovery are preferable.
1.Launcher: Zeam Launcher
2.Widgets Widgetsoid, beautiful widgets
3.Music app: Mixzing
4.Video app: Same as music
5. Support stable app on Wildfire. wha?
explain: 1. Fastest, lightest.
2. I like widgetsoid in every way. Beautiful widgets is only for home clock.
3. Very practical and fast.
4. Same as 3.
5. "wha" again
Golauncher is a must have its probably the fastest alternative to senseUI. (I've used Launcher pro, ADW, etc) d
Most of the Go apps work well I use GO SMS, GO Dialer and GO Contacts with no problems and are all free.
Widgetsoid is another essential.
I find the new official Twitter app to be the best one out there now. (It used to suck badly)
Ohh I'm stuck on stock ROM at the moment if you wanted to know.
1.Launcher ?? Launcher Pro Plus, fastest and most stable of what I tried ( tried em all )
2.Widgets ?? Fancy Widget, Widgetsoid, Battstatt
3.Music app ?? Poweramp
4.Video app ?? Meridian Player Donate or mobo if the file size wasn't so large+ codecs
5. Support stable app on Wildfire ?? What?
*ROM ?? So far CM 7.0.3
*Kernel ?? Stock cm7 Kernel
*Radio ?? .20.10 one ( needs to be reflashed when first installing CM7 to repair GPS )

I love my X10 and there is a bond with other X10'ers here
I wanted to start modding my AOSP into something that I want to call SpartaMOD
I had prepared for this some time ago ...
The ROM will be added on ROM Manager (HTC Desire HD section )
I only have the guts of asking because I now have a lot more knowledge as I created my App "God Mode" based on OMFGB
what would you want in this ?
Be very specific and the advantages of having it
I can't include MIUI Lockscreens , xLoud , etc (I'm not TripNRaver)
Please be careful This MOD will be spread to very many devices
Plans for now are :-
ARC , Neo and X10
HTC desire s and desire HD

On the T.E.A.M Rom they have appman which I believe is good for putting add-ons onto your rom without having them pre-installed or having them downloaded from the thread.

Hey XDA!,
I have tried a couple of NAND ICS roms on my HD2. The nexus HD2 by tytung and icecreamtosti. Plus i think i tried one with dorimanx kernel. Anyways, all the roms seem to lag on my fone. They work fine but as compared to the gingerbread roms, they are not smooth or as fast. They seem to be a bit slow. I flashed the correct partition sizes and later even partitions that were 10 or 15mb greater than required to allow for bad NAND blocks.
Anything else i can do to make these roms equally as smooth as the gingerbread roms or do i have to wait for furthur develpment?
Thanks,
Adil

The launchers are for some reason laggy. Try GO Launcher, Launcher Pro or ADW (any launcher not based on ICS basically) and they're buttery smooth (much faster than GB). I've found messaging, contacts, dialer and browser to me much faster than CM7 and pretty much the only app I would consider to be slow is the Music app. The phone also lags hugely whilst playing music.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I have Nova and Apex also installed (as well as Trebuchet) and I keep hoping that in the next update I see the launcher won't lag, but sadly it always does. Still, GO Launcher is actually the most functional launcher I've found, even if it eats a fair amount of RAM.

As I said, I've tried most of the 3rd party ICS launchers. None of them are actually as smooth as GO Launcher (or even smooth at all)
I think i solved it nigel. You probably would know this.
Anyways i am using GO launcher with the nexus rom. Its working GREAT. For the interface, i just downloaded the theme from the play store. Haha a ICS theme on a ICS rom.

I used that theme on CM7 but it really doesn't give a full ICS interface without the 'card stack' transitions, and really that's all I wanted. The app drawer is really very good on ICS, but unfortunately none of the non-ICS launchers seem to be able to mimick that. I personally prefer the GO Launcher symbols on the dock though, seem more polished for some reason

Ok, here are some tips to improve your mobile's performance.
1) Root your phone if u haven't.it voids warranty though. And it worth it.
2)install/flash cyanogenmod 7.2 (cm7) i prefer nightly .it's very good.
3) use Launcherpro coz of its very fast speed. Also customize it abit by increasing scrolling speed and app opening speed. You'll feel the difference at once.
Adw launcher is also good.
Liightning launcher is fast and very customizable but u have to set it up first.
4) don't install any task killer app coz android itself does that job for you.
5) before doing anything e.g rooting or overclocking, READ ALOT, yes, you must read alot through different forums about what you want to do. Don't rush into anything unless you don't know what you are doing.
6) clear cache oftenly using cache mate (for root users only )
7) keep backup of your apps and data using titanium backup or Go backup.
8) use setcpu for overclocking. I use max 729 min 352.
Use app No frills Cpu control
Governor: smartassv2 for cyanogen and smartass for stock for better performance and battery.
9) disable autocorrect coz if heard that it does slows your wildfire.
10) dont just try different roms if you're a beginner. Cm7.2 is just perfect in terms of speed and performance.
11) use Go sms pro because it is more interactive than default messaging app on any rom.
12) best sense rom is rempuzzle rom while best aosp rom is cyanogenmod 7.2.
13) Best file explorer ( sdcard + root ) are Es File Explorer (free) and Solid Explorer ( paid ).
Oi File Explorer is best for sdcard only.
14) Nova launcher is the best ICS launcher.
15) always make a nandroid backup of a rom if u flash different roms.
16) in terms of battery saving, best rom is kwbr rom.
17) rempuzzle is another great sense rom with improved GUI. Jokerdroid 4.2 and 4.3 are also great.
18) fastest browser is Opera mini.
19) you must have xda android app
20) avoid using Rom Manager. Always use Recovery.
21) learn about link2sd if u prefer cyanogenmod.
22) best video player is MX player. Alternative is QQplayer.
23) best music player is Simply Music for me.
24) u can have beats audio in all roms e.g kwbr rom
25) best twitter apps are tweakdeck, twicca and official twitter app.
26) for Facebook, use "friendcaster for facebook"
27) try Flow Bridges and Flow Connect. Very addictive games, including super flow free (numberlink)
28) if u love auto correction/prediction than use swift keyboard.
29) for gallery use Quickpic.
30) if u wanna experience windows phone 7 then use Launcher7 or launcher 8.
31) for Google news, try g-news app.
32) screen filtre. Must have app. Reduce brightness for using mobile at night.
33) if u use more than 1 launchers than use app twisted home manager to toggle b/w launchers.
34) try drag racing game. Very much fun.( Note: for better performance, u must overclock).
35) for screenshots, use app "screenshot ux"
That's all for now.
Would love your suggestions too.
Press thanks if u find any tip helpfull

i thought about win8 launcher but it is slower than launcher 7 in my case ): maybe if i will put animations instead of pictures as tiles it would work. for now no time so i can't test it ):

Gonna try ADW now, had the default launcher running till now
Try Holo launcher, its pretty cool on wildfire
for me holo was little bit laggy ): better download launcher pro or adw and ics icon pack and it will look like like ics a little bit. anyway if u want ics style the best way is to download ics rom
